The hosts are the sweetest people, made us feel so welcome ❤️ The sauna, jacuzzi and game room are all just amazing; beds so comfortable, very clean throughout. I can’t say enough nice things about this place !!!

The modern architecture, quality of build and materials, light filled spaces, and stylish furnishings provided more than just a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The home was truly inspirational and revitalizing. I can't say enough positive things about the experience and how much I now want a house like this lol! Superb living. The hosts were also so sweet and accommodating. You could tell they were very keen to make sure we had a wonderful stay which did. Truly memorable and standout in every way and we've traveled a lot...We would not hesitate to book this home again.

• Ketan (10/5): worth every penny spent, would highly recommend - The Villa is beautifully and very tastefully designed. The Hosts were very warm to receive us and also came to see us off. All the facilities were minutely taken care off. The amenities and the material used including linen and toiletries were of high quality. The art effects were appropriately placed. The location and view were just amazing. The Villa contains only two bathrooms. For a 4 bedroom villa, I feel, 3 bathrooms are required.
• Caroline (10/5): A truly luxurious and welcoming property in a pretty village with great access to many of Iceland’s treasures. - Holt Villa is a truly luxurious home and had everything we could possibly need. The decor was stylish yet comfortable and the layout worked really well for our group. Both bathrooms were fitted out like a luxury spa with high end toiletries provided and quality towels and high speed hairdryers. The kitchen was beautiful and well thought out as a practical cooking space, there was a coffee machine with Nespresso style pods provided. The location was ideal for a full day excursion around the Snaefellness Peninsula with whale watching from Olafsvik and there was also plenty to see and do nearby, including beautiful waterfalls of Barnafoss and Hraunfossar, the lava tube and glacier tour from Husafell, a scoria cone (small volcano) to climb at Grábrók by Bifrost and even the Krauma hot springs with geothermal baths and a lovely restaurant. Reykholt itself is a pretty village, perfect to walk around after dinner and to learn about its place in Icelandic history. We had a wonderful time at Holt Villa, it was the perfect base to explore this part of Iceland and we cannot thank our hosts enough for providing such a beautiful property that made our holiday so relaxing and special. There was nothing we didn’t like, it was perfect and we hope to return.

• Shana (10/5): Gorgeous home in Reykholt with unmatched hospitality! - The entire experience was amazing! Inga and Siggi were such gracious and helpful hosts from the start. They answered questions before we arrived and were very accessible throughout our stay for when we had additional questions. Inga and Siggi left us a welcome gift which was so thoughtful and greatly appreciated! The home is BEAUTIFUL. It was perfect for the 8 of us - plenty of room. Everything was thought of down to the smallest details. The kitchen was fully stocked with very nice plates, glassware, silverware, kitchen utensils, etc., as well as different olive oils, kinds of vinegar, and salt. The bathroom had shampoo, conditioner, shower gel as well as extras in case you forgot your toothbrush, etc. The beds were comfortable and the black-out curtains worked well since we were visiting in August and the sun really never went away. I couldn't speak more highly of the home or our hosts! My entire family said it was one of the best parts of our trip to Iceland. N/A

• Ebright (10/5): A beautifully appointed home to relax in and explore the Reykholt Valley and Borgarnes. - A wonderful and quiet location for exploring the Reykholt Valley and Borgarnes. Inga met us at the home and was a generous and lovely hostess! She had a bottle of prosecco and local strawberries as a welcome gift. The accommodations couldn't have been better for our family of 6! After staying in hotels for several days, it was a joy to spread out in the large home, have a quiet family dinner, play cards, and a rousing game of darts (and get a bunch of laundry done). :) There are lovely hiking trails behind the house where we met a friendly neighborhood cat to entertain us, as well! It is a short walk to a local shop to get basic necessities and a 30-minute drive to a large grocery store. We would definitely recommend Holt Villa to anyone looking to enjoy the lovely Icelandic countryside. Everything was perfect!

The hosts were brilliant and have set the highest standard! It will be hard to find another place to match Holt Villa! Having to leave! It is a house you woukd be happy to live in forever;)
• Nihar (10/5): Fantastic and beautiful luxury home with engaged and wonderful owners! - Inga and Siggi were wonderful and welcoming and the house was like a 5-star hotel private property!!! I have stayed at many high-end hotels and this house exceeded them. The owners were accessible and checked in on us frequently to make sure we had whatever we needed. Not much. I wish we could move the house a little closer to Reykjavik...but it was still very central to Snaefellsness, Reykjavik, Thingvellir and Reykjanes so it worked in many ways. Just be aware that all of the above require 1.5hr drives to get to (one-way).
