Guest Reviews
- Jason (10/5): Andre was a huge help during the stay and a pleasure to have around. Not intrusive at all but there if you needed someth - The birds and the forest sounds! Cabin was cute and fully stocked.
- Bego (10/5): Un lloc molt especial! - Si busques natura i calma, el lloc és impressionant!
L’anfitrió és molt agradable i t’ajuda en tot.

- Robin (10/5): At one with nature!! - Great location in the National Park, nice and quiet apart from nature, Andre was very helpful. We loved it. We had No 10 it’s a good size apartment, lovely view. Nothing - just be aware you are in the park, you will need to take food etc. with you, also would book in advance with Andre’s recommended drivers as Uber and local taxis will not take you to the door. We loved it.
- Robert (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing views! Beautiful location! The host was really helpful with recommendations and information about the local area including walking routes, nature and even where we could get food delivered to the property which was surprising given its remote location.
- Lyubomir (10/5): Exceptional - André was super cool and welcoming host from the beginning to the end of the stay! He speaks very good English which is a big advantage in Brazil ( We speak from our personal experience facing this as a BIG problem there… ). He was very helpful with everything, considering the location which is in a secluded part of the jungle of Rio, in Tijuca National Park. The place is unbelievably beautiful and perfect for relaxing days among the nature, surrounded by tropical trees and animals (but not dangerous ones! Lol)
We’re very, very grateful to André for his guidance and taking the time to help us when needed! We had a great time with him like a host and future friend!
- Carl (10/5): There are your normal vacation pictures and then there is this! Thank you Andre!!! - This place was fantastic! Worried it was too far, but really wasn't, we were at the Beach in 15 minutes and went somewhere every day though I would have been perfectly content with staying there. (Just stop by a grocery on the way for coffee and a little food. You have to explore the trails such as Vista Chinesa that literally begin at the edge of this property. (Be careful to stay off the Bike trails next to the walking trails.) Andre was the perfect Host and even provides a video to help you find the property which is in a group of cottages and very nicely kept! Very safe and secure, and I promise you will never find the view from your bedrooms and front porch except in a painting or maybe a dream, breathtaking! You are literally in a Park that people take tours to experience! Keeping after 2 girls about "No paper in the toilette" everything is on septic in the Jungle! "Really common sense unless you have only lived in the city. You will need to rent a car or SUV with a little clearance, not bad just take it slow. We rented a Volkswagen Taigo and did great. You will need it to go see all the wonderful sights anyway like Christ the Redeemer, just drive and park down the street from the train ride up which is cheaper and won't make you sick like a tour bus winding up the road.
