• Natalie (9/5): Beautiful hotel - The hotel is beautiful. The rooms are spotless and spacious. The location is in the quiet end of town which is perfect and even though it’s quieter you have lovely restaurants nearby. The pool area is gorgeous and you must sit on the terrace to watch sunset. The staff are lovely -notably the lady who does the amazing breakfast! (It is 5*) and the cleaners. We loved the hotel - the only thing we noticed is that because the pool bar isn’t really manned guests don’t really get as many drinks or snacks as they probably would.

• Lucie-An (8/5): Séjour agréable et chaleureux - Le personnel est d’une extrême gentillesse et très attentionné. La piscine est particulièrement agréable et idéale pour se détendre. Les chambres sont très bien équipées, avec de nombreuses petites attentions qui permettent de s’y sentir parfaitement bien. Les chambres pourraient être mieux insonorisées : on entend parfois les portes claquer ainsi que les conversations dans les couloirs. Cependant, la manager, très aimable et attentive, nous a gentiment proposé de changer de chambre afin de nous satisfaire.

• Thomas (10/5): Tolles Hotel mit super Service - Das Hotel ist 2024 eröffnet worden. Alles ist sehr neu und modern eingerichtet. Es ist rundherum an alles gedacht. Super Management und Personal. Wir haben beim Check in ein Upgrade auf ein Zimmer mit privaten Pool bekommen. Frühstück war grandios, es fehlte an nichts. Zu 100 Prozent weiter zu empfehlen. Alles perfekt
• Nikki (9/5): Fantastisch en écht een aanrader! - Alles was echt super. De service van het hotel, wij hadden een gratis upgrade gehad naar een kamer met een zwembad. Het ontbijt was heel divers en genoeg keuzes. Ligging is top. Maar de hotelmanager (Marilee) is echt fantastisch, ze helpt je waar ze kan, geeft goede tips en is echt heel vriendelijk. En kers op de taart; Wanneer je op de kamer komt, liggen er allemaal kleine kadotjes en wanneer je uitcheckt, krijg je nog een kadotje. Iets grotere badkamer of een afscheiding dat als je doucht niet alles nat wordt. Maar is niet storend.

I booked the budget room and they upgraded us to the one with a private pool as a result of the time of year. Staff was amazing. • Federica (10/5): Awesome - Me and my boyfriend loved everything! Best thing was breakfast with plenty of alternatives to choose from (they were able to accommodate my needs since I’m celiac and I need gluten free items). Bed and pillows were super comfortable! There’s free parking next to the building so it’s very convenient. Last but not least we loved the girls at the reception, everyone was super nice and friendly.
• John Fitzgerald (10/5): Fantastisch! - Ons verblijf bij Nikon Boutique was boven onze verwachting! Het personeel is zo vriendelijk, het ontbijt is heerlijk, het is schoon, de locatie is goed.. We kregen een strandtasje met iedere dag schone strandhanddoeken. Er was een welkomstdrankje en een klein afscheidscadeautje. Een fles wijn in de koelkast, iedere dag nieuwe flesjes water! Bedankt Nikon! Door jullie was onze vakantie mede zo geslaagd. Ps: die heerlijke geur die je bij aankomst al ruikt, vergeet je nooit meer :) Niets.

A protože jsem měla v období pobytu narozeniny, čekal na mě krásně nazdobený pokoj s velkou kytický, neskutečné. Hotel můžu určitě moc doporučit!

As above, so below; the owner is obviously a conscientious professional. Every single member of the staff was kind, generous, charismatic, and knew how to resolve any an all issues immediately. I wish they weren't closing for the season the day after I arrived or else I would have spent my entire vacation in Zakynthos with them. (I stayed at five different places in my time in Zakynthos and no other place even came CLOSE to the quality and value.)

• sometimesinpink (10/5): Entspanntes Hotel am Rand von Kalamaki - Sehr entspannte Atmosphäre im Hotel und sehr hilfsbereites und freundliches Personal. Alle Probleme wurden zeitnah gelöst. Bei Ankunft hab es ein kostenloses Zimmerupgrade, darüber habe ich mich sehr gefreut. Für mich alleine waren die Ablagemöglichkeiten im Zimmer vollkommen ausreichend. Sehr gutes Frühstück, perfekt für einen entspannten Start in den Tag. Fußläufig sind zahlreiche Restaurants zu erreichen. Ich habe mich insgesamt sehr wohl gefühlt. Vielen Dank auch für die Aufmerksamkeiten🍷💐 auf dem Zimmer. Überdurchschnittlich viele rauchende Gäste, teilweise leider rücksichtslos. Dafür kann das Hotel an sich aber nichts und ich hatte sicher auch einfach Pech. Evtl. könnte aber auf Aschenbecher auf den Frühstückstischen verzichtet werden? Weiterer Verbesserungsvorschlag: eine geschlossene Tür am Waschkeller, damit Gäste nicht mitbekommen wann die nächste Ladung Wäsche fertig ist 😉

Paar leuke en prima restaurants om de hoek. Het personeel is echt geweldig ! Mochten ivm late terugvlucht zelfs nog een dag op de kamer blijven ! Dank jullie wel ! Niets

Room was modern and nicely decorated, and the king-size bed was very comfortable. We slept really well. Tasty and varied breakfast was also high standard. Pool area looked great. there were plenty of sunbeds available and also many nice beaches nearby. Obliged us with late check out, much appreciated. Highly recommend and will be back. • Joanne (10/5): Perfect the first time and perfect again. Thank you for everything - The hotel was spotlessly clean and smelt absolutely wonderful - like a spa. The staff work so hard and cannot do enough to help you. Our room was tidied so beautifully every day and every little thing had been considered - from the beach bag with towels and the complementary waters and coffee pods replaced daily - to the champagne on arrival and complementary bottle of wine in the room. The breakfast was so varied - I have never seen such a wide choice of delicious foods in such a space and the area where you eat is beautiful and right by the pool. Oh and the sun beds were so padded and comfortable. I stayed earlier in the month with my partner but this time returned with my mum - a first time visitor to Zakynthos. She loved the hotel as much as I do. Oh and on our departure, we received the most thoughtful gift to take with us - local olive oil, olives and herbs for cooking. Thank you for the most wonderful stay. Everything was perfect!!! One thing to note - it’s cashless so bring a card to pay for any extras. There is a bar and the cocktails and drinks were lovely and very reasonable. You can charge extras to the room and settle up at the end which is useful.

• Glen (9/5): We had a lovely time, there are loads of authentic Greek tavernas and bars within walking distance and the beach is too. - Beautifully clean and in a great location. Fantastic staff. Lovely private pool behind our room plus a nice communal one. As there are only 24 rooms there is always a sunbed available. The rooms are quite small, also the breakfast buffet area is snug so a bit of a squeeze sometimes with several people there. Food not available after 2.00 PM and the bar shut early at 10.00 which seemed odd as it’s manned by the receptionist who is obviously still there.

Man konnte sämtliche Touren direkt im Hotel buchen inklusive Abholung und Rücktransport - hat alles wunderbar funktioniert. Das Hotel arbeitet mit Autovermietungen zusammen. Wir waren mit dem Service der Firma Papadatos nicht zufrieden und würden diese auch nicht weiter empfehlen. Sonst war das Service des Hotels top.

• Chris (9/5): Ein schöner Aufenthalt, wir kommen gern wieder. - Die Unterkunft war wirklich sehr schön. Die Anlage war sehr gepflegt, sowohl außen als auch innen. Das Personal war wirklich sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und hat immer gern geholfen und Tipps für Restaurants und Ausflüge gegeben. Es wurde sehr viel Wert auf Sauberkeit gelegt, es wurde regelmäßig am Tag alles frisch gemacht. Einerseits gab es dort ein Wespenproblem, aber ich denke, dass das ein allgemeines Problem auf der Insel war. Das Frühstück war ausschließlich draußen, sodass man immer viele Wespen um sich herum hatte. Vielleicht gibt es dort eine Möglichkeit das in Zukunft zu verbessern. Andererseits war der Parkplatz für uns nicht so schön, da wir mit unserem eigenen Auto vor Ort waren. Es ist ein kleiner unbefestigter Parkplatz (Schotter/Rasen mit Bäumen und Wurzeln), auf dem Hühner und Katzen herumliefen.

Cosa ha fatto la differenza? Marilee la manager dell'hotel e il suo staff. Accoglienza, dedizione e passione per i clienti. Ci siamo sentiti super coccolati. Vicino.ci sono anche due ottimi taverne tipiche ma in ogni caso la posizione permette di raggiungere velocemente spiagge e vita notturna per chi ne è alla ricerca. Assolutamente tutto perfetto

Het hotelpersoneel was ontzettend aardig, beleefd en erg behulpzaam! De schoonmaak was perfect, alles goed onderhouden. Leuk detail: het hotel geeft een strandtas met strandlakens mee voor gebruik, heel handig en scheelt zelf spullen meenemen.

Parcheggio gratuito per i clienti, camera dotata di tutti i comfort ( stendino, acqua naturale sempre disponibile e gratutita, dental kit, shaving kit, teli grandi-medi e piccoli, accappatoi, ciabattine). Ci hanno anche regalato una bottiglia di vino come benvenuto e offerto la colazione al check in poiché arrivati presto. Uniche pecche le vespe in area colazione e la doccia in camera con vetri corti. Per le vespe capisco che non è “colpa” della struttura, ma è stato davvero complicato fare colazione con le vespe che ronzavano intorno tutto il tempo.

Έκαναν και σε εμας αλλά και στο ζευγάρι φίλων μας Upgrade στα δωμάτια, με αποτέλεσμα να έχουμε ιδιωτική πισίνα στο δωμάτιο... Τα δωμάτια πεντακάθαρα και με όλες τις παροχές όπως νερά, κρασί, καφέ κτλ.. Πανέμορφο ξενοδοχειο κοντά στη χώρα της Ζακύνθου, ήσυχο και με πλούσιο πρωινό.. Κατά την αναχώρηση μας, μας δόθηκε και ενα δωράκι με τοπικά προϊόντα του νησιού.. Η Marilee μας εξυπηρετησε ετσι ώστε να οργανώσουμε το Tour μας για να δούμε τα πιο ωραία μέρη του νησιού.. Το συνιστούμε ανεπιφύλακτα σε όποιον ταξιδέψει στο νησί!!

Wenn es möglich für das Hotel ist, ermöglichen sie einem unentgeltlich diese kleinen Annehmlichkeiten. Alle waren super freundlich, das Frühstück war gut und es hat an nichts gefehlt. • Adriano76 (9/5): Un oasi di pace e di lusso. - La struttura è fantastica, stile moderno ed elegante, lo staff è molto accogliente e gentile, la camera ha tutti i confort superiori alla norma, all' arrivo siamo stati accorti con un cocktail di benvenuto nonostante nella stanza ci sia di tutto, caffè, the, cioccolatini, caramelle, acqua ed una bottiglia di vino con due calici come benvenuto e tutto incluso nel prezzo della stanza, il letto super confortevole ed un terrazzino vista piscina. Consigliatissimo per coppie e famiglie. La struttura si trova in una strada tranquilla dove a pochi passi ci sono ristoranti e bar, ma non è centrale rispetto alla movida, sicuramente va scelto se si ha intenzione di noleggiare un auto o uno scooter.

• Ali (5/5): The hotel itself is lovely and comfortable, but the checkout and transfer experience left us with a bad impression. - We stayed one night at Nikon Boutique Hotel due to a delayed flight. The arrival was very nice – the receptionist welcomed us warmly with a drink, our room was great with a private pool, Nespresso machine, coffee capsules, and even a complimentary bottle of wine. We were really happy with the facilities and the breakfast buffet had a good. Unfortunately, the checkout was disappointing. We were asked to pay €5 even though this was already included in our Booking.com payment, and the receipt we received did not match what we had actually paid. We also asked for a TAXI, but instead a private car arrived. The driver had no meter, claimed a fixed price of €35(normally cost 17 €), and even made the short 4-minute trip last more than 20 minutes. This was uncomfortable and felt dishonest.

• Annika (9/5): - Das Hotel ist klein und sehr entspannt, die Lage ruhig und abseits der Touristenzentren. Mit dem Auto ist es der perfekte Ausgangspunkt, um die Insel zu erkunden. Der Pool ist gepflegt, es gab immer genügend freie Liegen, und das Personal sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Der Zimmerservice hat sich selbst übertroffen. Wir würden das Hotel definitiv wieder buchen. Der einzige Nachteil waren die vielen Wespen, für die das Hotel aber natürlich nichts kann. Außerdem war das Bad nach jeder Dusche überschwemmt.

We had booked the ground floor room with private pool, we had missed our holiday the year before and I had seen on social media about the Nikon and we were not disappointed. From the moment we stepped into the Foyer of the hotel, we were greeted with exceptional customer service and care. The room was the best room I had ever stayed in, all of the staff were friendly, chatty and couldn't do enough for you. Marilee and the rest of the team were brilliant, nothing was too much trouble. Absolutely delighted to be able to recommend this hotel to others and we will be back to stay with them again. Absolutely nothing, it was all fantastic. Couldn't top it at all.

• Kate (10/5): Lovely stay in a quiet part of kalamaki. - Super clean, really friendly, Marilee helped us organise lots of activities on our trip. Nothing, it was beautiful! You’d need a car or taxi to get to a lot of the nicer restaurants and attractions, but that’s inevitable as zakynthos is quite spread out.
• Larissa (10/5): An fabulous example of the wonderful hospitality Greece is so famous for. - I have not stayed in a smaller hotel in Greece before, only a large chain in Athens, and I was blown away by the hospitality of the Nikon Hotel. Maybe this is normal in Greece. The staff were so friendly and couldn't do enough for me, from arrival to departure. Even the housekeeping staff were up for a bit of a friendly chat! The extras they supplied were incredible, just for my one night stay. Lovely pool with great lounges, and it was nice to eat breakfast by the pool. The hotel is pretty close to Zykanthos airport, which is good for late night arrivals. It was near the airport, so quite a way from the centre of town. It was a EU20 to get a taxi to the port.

A gold ring with a cultured pearl worth 250 euro disappeared from my room, which I left in a napkin in my makeup bag. I was on the run and didn't have time to put it in the safe! The staff didn't even bother to check with the cleaning team that day. I was treated with ignorance, as if I had lied. That I couldn't prove that the ring was brought to the hotel.

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed like family — with champagne in hand, a warm smile, and a sense that we were about to experience something special. And we truly did. A very special thank you to Marilee, who made our holiday not just enjoyable, but unforgettable. She went above and beyond, not only ensuring our comfort inside the hotel but also organizing a private boat rental for us to explore Navagio, the Blue Caves, White Beach, Golden Beach, and more — truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Her restaurant recommendations were spot-on too; we had some of the most delicious Greek food we've ever tasted. The hotel was extremely dog-friendly, which meant the world to us. Our little Blackie (our 5-year-old Bichon Havanese) was treated like royalty, with her own bed, food and water bowls, and so much love from the staff. It's rare to find a place that welcomes pets with such genuine warmth. The room was spotless — cleaned every single day — and had thoughtful touches that made all the difference: fresh coffee, sweets, and water daily, a complimentary bottle of wine upon arrival, and even a stylish beach bag with towels that were replaced daily. The pool area was serene and beautifully maintained — perfect for a relaxing dip any time of day. And the breakfast? Fabulous. A generous and delicious spread that kept us looking forward to mornings. But what truly made the stay exceptional was the staff. Every single person greeted us with a smile, asked if we needed anything, and genuinely seemed to enjoy making us feel pampered and cared for. We didn't just feel like guests — we felt like cherished guests. Honestly, a 10 doesn't even begin to describe the level of hospitality and attention to detail we experienced here. It’s rare to feel this spoiled on vacation. We are already dreaming about coming back! There is literally nothing to complain about.
• Antonella (10/5): Un 4 stelle super meritato - Tutto perfetto, oltre le aspettative, staff gentilissimo, camere dal design innovativo e che rispecchiano le descrizioni della struttura. La zona è tranquilla e vicina alle località di interesse. Nonostante fosse a pochi km dall’aeroporto non abbiamo mai sentito un aereo. L’area della piscina anche se piccolina, consente di poter passare qualche ora di relax con lettini con materassino e bar sempre aperto, ed i teli mare sono sempre a disposizione, anche se sporchi vengono cambiati quotidianamente. C’è anche un area parcheggio. La struttura è nuova e non ha problematiche, tutto nella normale e ben fatto, ma se dovessi dare un consiglio, forse alle docce servirebbe un ulteriore pannello di vetro per evitare che l’acqua fuoriesca oltre.
