• Alicja (10/5): - When I arrived at the camp, it was very quiet and peaceful. The place is beautiful in its simplicity. My room had beautiful colors and a comfortable bed. Lying in the hammock, you can spot birds perching on the trees and buildings. You can take a short walk through the dunes. Mbarak and his crew—Bashir, Omar, and Saeed—take great care of their guests. The food was delicious! I had the best chicken tajine I've had in Morocco. I also really enjoyed the pancakes for breakfast. I forgot to ask who cooked (merci chef!). I was traveling alone on foot, so the ride to the camp was very helpful, as was the help with transferring to a taxi for my onward journey (thanks, Habib!). The camp is near the charming little town of Mhamid el Ghizlane (accessible by bus). You can spend a few nights at the camp, relax, and gaze at the sky. The bonfire and communal singing are the center of this place and Berber culture.

Mbarak zadbanym o Was jak nikt inny, odbierze z Mhamid, przygotuje ognisko i jest otwarty na każdą prośbę. Ważna rzecz, to nie jest Camp z luksusami, jeśli szukasz autentyczności, to nie będziesz zawiedziony. Sporo much w okolicy, ale to nie wina gospodarza, tylko natury.

• Julia (9/5): The best host! - Awesome dunes by the camp, comfortable huts, toilet, shower, electricity, everything you need. Clean bedsheets. Shaded spots to enjoy the desert during the day, hammock. You can go ride a sandboard. The best host, very helpful, attentive, polite and good communication! The host came to pick me up from the town and we had a great ride to the camp! The food was kind of tasteless, maybe the chef was not inspired that day haha but the quantity was enough, so not that big of a deal
• Adrian (10/5): Niesamowite miejsce tworzone przez świetnych ludzi! - Cudowne miejsce, bardzo ciche, tuż obok przepiękne wydmy. Ale to co najważniejsze to cudowny gospodarz Mbark i jego załoga! Wspaniale nas ugościli, gotowali dla nas przepyszne posiłki, zorganizowali świetny sylwestrowy wieczór przy ognisku i muzyce na żywo, zorganizowali też dla nas wspaniałe wycieczki na Quady oraz Wielbłądy. Dzieci są bardzo mile widziane (Francesco pozdrawia!!). Przed przyjazdem obawialiśmy się zimna w nocy na przełomie grudnia i stycznia, ale tak jak zapewniał Mbark czarne domki są bardzo ciepłe w środku. Łazienka jest skromna, ale ma gorącą wodę, a przecież nie o luksusy na pustyni chodzi. My przedłużyliśmy swój pobyt o 1,5 dnia dłużej niż planowaliśmy, a chętnie zostalibyśmy jeszcze dłużej. Niesamowity odpoczynek!

• Lang (10/5): Alles ist einfach authentisch - Mbark und sein Team ist wahnsinnig gastfreundlich, nett und zuvorkommend. Wir hatten zwei tolle Nächte in dem Bungalow mitten in den Dünen. Tolles Essen und Lagerfeuer. Fuhren mit einem Fahrer nach El Chegaga das ist schon sehr sehenswert mit den großen Sandbergen. Sehr gerne wieder Nichts.

• Brigitte (10/5): A warm-hearted and stunning place to experience the Saharan desert - This was a perfect place to get a feel of the beauty of the Saharan desert. The camp is fantastically situated between dunes. M'Bark and his team will take excellent care of you. This is not a fancy place, but it provides so much warmth, great food, even WIFI and a place to charge your devices. The value for money is spectacular. We stayed for two nights (and you really should not do less), but would have stayed longer had out travel plans permitted. The units, painted black to stay warm in winter, got very hot. But there are so many great places to sit or even sleep outside, this did not really bother us. The toilet and shower facilities are quite basic, as is to be expected in the desert.
• LHOTELIER (10/5): Une expérience exceptionnelle mémorable - Pour nos amis c'était une grande première dans le désert et ils ont été ravis, enthousiasmés. Il faut dire que MBark facilite grandement les choses par sa disponibilité, sa gentillesse, sa bienveillance, sa générosité. Lui et son équipe nous ont fait passé un moment fort avec le repas aux chandelles, le feu, la musique. Bref c'était super et nos amis sont repartis avec des souvenirs plein la tête. MBark nous a a fait vivre un expérience exceptionnelle mémorable. Lui et son équipe sont de véritables ambassadeurs du tourisme Marocain et ils méritent d'être encouragés, ovationnés. RAS et si j'ose un peu d'humour, pas un grain de sable dans l'organisation de notre séjour. Je pourrais dire qu'il a fait chaud mais à ce moment là il aurait fallu qu'on aille au Pole Nord.

• Lara (9/5): - Die Lage ist perfekt mit Aussicht auf die Sanddünen und wir hatten die Möglichkeit unterm Sternenhimmel zu schlafen. Die Verpflegung war sehr gut und wir haben sogar Eiswasser bekommen, da es sehr heiß war. Leider hat uns das gemeinsame Essen und Beisammensein gefehlt, aber das ist hauptsächlich der Hitze zu verschulden.

• Marc (10/5): Perfect Berber Hospitality! - The camp is located in an isolated spot away from the other camps. Far enough that I heard no outside noise at all in the 24 hours I was there. The staff are absolutely amazing. They made me feel so welcome. The accommodation was really comfortable. Toilet facilities were fine. Dinner was excellent. And we were treated to some traditional Berber music at a campfire afterwards. If you want to go by yourself into the wild dunes which start right next to the camp, it is quite safe as there are two distinctive high dunes covered in trees that are always visible to keep you oriented, if you keep reasonably close to the camp. I saw no evidence of any vehicle tracks once the dunes get started, so you will literally have the whole desert to yourself in pristine condition. It really is a stunning location! The sink/basin in the toilet/bathroom block needs a little attention to make it easier to use, perhaps by changing the tap and making the sink a little bigger.
• Anastasova (10/5): Exceptional - The camp is situated in a great location next to beautiful dunes. The staff was very nice and so kind to pick up and drop us off at M'hamid. We definitely recommend it..
• Lisa (10/5): Exceptional - The camp is located perfectly fine in some dunes with stunning views. We were lucky enough to be the only guests for the night so we had the campsite to ourselves. The dinner was absolutely fine and we were offered to have a campfire if we'd wanted. What we enjoyed most was the quietness and the stars during the night. No dune-bashers or cars (thank god!). The host is as friendly as you can imagine and organized a camel ride back to the parking area for the following day with a local guy which we also enjoyed a lot. Also communication was easy and pick could be organized smoothly. Definitely 10/10. Basic bathroom, but more than we expected. Showering would have been possible which is quite luxurious considering you're in the desert and water is rare.
• Moritz (10/5): Amazing day in the dessert! - Outstanding! Mubarak and his crew really know how to make a day in the dessert special :) Communication in terms of arranging the trip with the host was super fast, clear and forthcoming! We had to pay extra for the very delicious dinner (100Dhs p.P), which is completely fair. We just felt like this should be communicated more clearly before the dinner.

• Marcin (10/5): Exceptional - If you want to feel the atmosphere of the desert and the nomad camp Mubarak place is the right one. The camp is located approximately 8 km from the Mhamid ~ 20 min driving using 4x4 car and if you want Mubarak will take you there from the village. There are already dunes near the camp, but you can also take  60knlm 4x4 car guide  tour with reasonable prices to the highest dunes in Morocco, erg Chigaga. There is also a possibility to spend a night in the 2nd camp, run by Mubarak, close to the highest dunes.  The host is very helpful and he can arrange things for you. The camp is clean and the bathroom has hot water. You can also have local dinner in the evening.  The most memorable thing was sitting around the fire, accompanied by Nomad songs. 2 days of staying there is clearly not enough.
• Anna (10/5): Amazing stay! - Everything was excellent during our stay. Mbark is a fantastic host and he is very helpful. He picked us up from Mhamid and drove back. You can enjoy surrounding dunes on your own or just relax in the camp or have some organized tour. The whole staff is very helpful and the food is delicious. Keep in mind that it is a camp on a desert, not a luxury hotel but you get here much more than in the best hotels - the entire desert experience and amazing natural beauty around

• Emma (10/5): Amazing stay and excursion - We had a great stay at Mbark's camp, he's really welcoming and was very accommodating, we didn't have a car and he drove us to and from the village to the camp. His camp is beautiful, serene, and well located around the dunes, it was great to just walk around the camp. The one night excursion to erg chegaga we organised with him was a highlight of our trip, everything was magical! The food we had throughout our stay was amazing too. Nothing, I would just note that maybe the bathroom facilities could be upgraded in the camp, the experience we had in the erg chegaga camp was a bit more comfortable (for flushing the toilet for eg). All in all it didn't affect our stay at all, this should be expected when coming to the desert! :)

Rooms were confortable and the temperature was nice. We had a delicious dinner and breakfast, and they gave us a very good price for the transport from Mhamid to the camp. When you’re with Embark, you don’t have to worry about anything. This place is clean, neat and good location. You definitely will have a best desert experience here, with best sunrise and sunset view. You will never miss a good thing here!!❤️Definitely will come back again. None.
