- Fiona (10/5): Perfect! - The house was spotlessly clean, the kitchen well appointed, the bed was very comfortable and the shower was amazing. The views were lovely too. 10/10! We enjoyed our stay so much that we have already booked for next year! The noise from the A1 is quite loud but the location can’t be helped. We could not hear any traffic noise inside the house however.

- Joanne (9/5): Superb - Lovely and clean, the apartment, had everything needed. Lovely to walk round the field and watch birds, hares and lucky enough to see deer. There is traffic noise but did not cause us a problem.
- Keith (10/5): Excellent in all aspects, as stated above - It is our policy to visit our Rental Apartment complex on at least a yearly basis. When my wife can visit old friends in Ramsey and Stilton. Whilst I deal with any outstanding issues from my Tenants, in Whittlesey.
This Linhay is an ideal location in this instance, and provides relaxation for us both in addition.
The Nide is in an excellent position overlooking the fields with the Fens stretching into the distance.
We note that further upgrades have been provided since our last visit.
The Nide has a small enclosed side garden, with two large wooden chairs. Further into the farmland there are two tables and benches suitable for picnics, weather permitting.
We intend to stay again on our next visit to the area. If I was very, very picky, which is not my intent—- if the wind blows from the A1M motorway, over the trees into Linhay, the noise can be a distraction, if outside. Inside with Double glazing this is avoided, and there is no issue.

Being out in the fields - endless rolling fields - really nice.
Sitting out on the patio having breakfast early morning watching Red Kites .
Little touches like the bread , milk etc for us to use ( I bake a lot of bread, have a big interest in all things to do with bread - and it was interesting to see that you had grown the wheat - the bread was excellent ) .
It felt relaxing - somewhere to drop anchor , cook food and ' switch off ' .
We really felt like we'd had a holiday. Probably nothing could have been better during our stay - it was all very nice . If we are mentioning everything to do with our stay , then we would observe that we were very aware of traffic - that's something that you can't control of course !!
( and roads have to be somewhere ) .
We live on the fellside in upper Cumbria - the only noise, generally is birds - so inevitably we are going to be aware of traffic sounds- and I am sure that some folk wouldn't notice it.
It didn't alter the fact that we had a really lovely stay at your property.

- Jane (10/5): Wonderful barn conversion - we will be back! - The cottage was just beautiful. So cosy and comfortable and very tastefully furnished and decorated. There was fresh bread and milk on arrival, excellent communication from the host and very clear directions to reach and access the property. The small garden adjacent to our end cottage was perfect for the dogs - they sat and looked out over the amazing fields and countryside. Very quiet and tranquil - a perfect base to travel for work but I just didn’t want to leave it! Huge thanks to the host for getting in touch so quickly about the chargers I left too! Cannot thank her enough. Nothing - perfect property and great stay.

- James (8/5): Beautiful, relaxing and a pleasure to stay - Lovely barn conversion, lovely interiors, roll top free standing bath and separate shower with good water pressure, everything I needed for cooking and entertainment, sofa was very comfortable, Parking for 2 cars, comfortable bed, nice field allocated for walking around. Lovely sitting area outside allowing you to enjoy the weather and views No washing machine or tumble dryer, nothing else,
- H.p. (10/5): Excellent accommodation. Beautiful location. 5* from us - The location is ideal if you want a zone to relax. Very peaceful and tranquil. Beautiful. We stayed at the Hollow which is over 2 floors for 2 nights and could have quite easily have stayed longer. Perfect. Well maintained and very clean. Facilities are excellent, bathroom and shower amazing. Cant fault the venue could have easily stayed for the week. The only thing I would mention is that the downstairs has floor to ceiling glass panels. Although bright, in periods of sunny hot days the rooms become very hot ( keep the curtains closed). They provide fans which alleviates some of the heat. Only a very small point and would not put us off returning in the future.

- David (10/5): Exceptional - The location is rural but at the same time close to the A1, surrounding villages and pubs etc., and not far from Hampton shopping centre and Peterborough itself. The Nidd end apartment we stopped in has a garden and is the only one of the 5 which is dog friendly. We dont have a dog but booked it for the garden and the views were great. The owner Imogen couldn't be more friendly and obliging and you can tell the apartments are a labour of love the way she has furnished them to such a high standard (everything is quality) and how she looks after them, they are spotless. Being able to spend more time there. We have now rebooked for this August 2024.
- Michaela (10/5): A lovely weekend away! - Modern, clean, well stocked up and super comfortable bed. We had everything we needed and loved our stay at the Linhay! We especially enjoyed the bread provided which is grown on the farm and thought that that was a wonderful touch! We were provided with coffee, tea, sugar, milk and butter/ honey/ jam for the bread. We were lucky enough to experience a fly baller event that was happening on one of the fields nearby during our stay which was such a unique experience!
