Guest Reviews
- Harris (9/5): - Beautiful view of the fields, whole thing was super easy to navigate and fell in love with a very friendly ginger cat. Was lovely and peaceful looking out over the fields from bed!
- Chelsea (9/5): Perfect stay for a change of scenery, our dog was happy and we were happy. Big open spaces to explore and the hut was a - Great location, welcoming hosts a very homely friendly vibe. Having use of an oven/microwave would make this the ideal place to stay.
- Lauren (9/5): -
- Antonia (10/5): - Such a beautiful little hideaway in a gorgeous location.
- Rose (10/5): Stags hide a beautiful Shepards hut. - Stags hide was beautiful, very clean. Really impressed with the outdoor space aswell. A shame we couldn't use it as it was just a quick visit. Nothing. Everything was great! A tea towel would have been good but not going to grumble about that.

- Jennifer (10/5): Fabulous Stay At The Stag’s Hide - A lovely hut, on an amazing site with fabulous hosts. The hut itself is comfy, clean, spacious and has everything you need. The enclosed garden was a real plus for us and our dog loved sitting on the veranda looking out. Hosts were wonderful, very friendly and accommodating, nothing too much trouble with very quick responses when messaged but also just let you get on with it. The site the hut sits on is lovely with a big added bonus of beautiful animals on the farm and an option to help feed them! There are walks from the site to a pub and everything else such as castles and beaches within very easy reach. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we truly enjoyed every second!
- Clara (10/5): Exceptional - Such beautiful accommodation and the surrounding area was so calm and peaceful. We had a wonderful weekend!
- Stephen (10/5): Lovely weekend stay - Beautiful location with lovely owners. Everything was as described.
- Janet (10/5): Absolutely amazing location shepherds hut so comfortable owners made us feel so welcome - Absolutely everything it was amazing Nothing
- Dorota (10/5): Exceptional - Great location, dog friendly and plenty of places to visit around. Our dog loved the fields and all the animals.
- Gregg (8/5): Beautifully clean, warm, amazing views, lovely restful place. - Beautiful location, very easy to find. Immaculately clean. Lovely and warm when we got there as the heating was on for us. Thoughtful basket for our dogs which we loved. Also tea bags and some milk cartons. Parking nice and flat and grounds very well cared for. Very peaceful and beautiful views. The steps going up to the hut were quite slippy because of the rain and hand rails either side of the steps would have been very welcome. A microwave too would have been a bonus as there is no oven. Also bigger glasses too for squash or to take tablets would be very useful. Because it is quite a compact space an all weather parasol would have been really good too so you can sit out even if its raining. These are only suggestions and didn't spoil our stay.
- Mclaughlin (10/5): Very enjoyable. Welcoming. Definitely return when next in area. - Had a great stay with 8 year old son. Farm lovely and hosts great.
- Ryan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Olivia (10/5): Thank you so much we had a wonderful time at the Stags Hide. We were sorry to leave and are already planning our next tr - Beautiful location, warm, super clean and well equipped Nothing!
- Aldo (10/5): Little Gem - Self contained, well thought out. Cosy, here during amber weather warning with snow for Narberth nobbler race. Convenient. Fab site too. Nothing.
- Daniel (10/5): Perfect for a couple and their dog! - It was exactly as described. Very clean and tidy accomodation, very cosy and the underfloor heating was a game changer. The secure fencing around the hide was perfect for our Cockapoo and meant he could explore, we could relax and not have to watch him whilst in the garden. The animals were beautiful and there was an option to help feed them which my partner did. The location is very quiet so a good night's sleep and all the main places we wanted to visit were less than 20 minutes drive. The games room was a very welcome bonus with it's Table Tennis and Pool tables. Last but not least, the owners and their children were very friendly and helpful, couldn't have wished for better hosts! Having to come home! We'd have stayed far longer!
- Cohen (10/5): Exceptional - The view from the bed is lovely to wake up to
- David (10/5): Bloody brilliant- much more fun than a hotel room - Everything- could not fault this Gem!
Bed was really comfy- the hut was so clean- and Lovley and warm-defo don’t let the winter months put you off staying at the stags hide. We only stayed one night as we were on a work trip but would love to come back for pleasure another time- researched area and so much to do. Could not fault this Amazing find - just wish we could have stayed longer.

- Joshua (7/5): Really pleasant and overall a lovely place. I’d like to go again in the future. - It was perfect really. I loved the fence to be able to not worry about the dog. It was all super comfortable Location made it a little noisy. And lots of people passing by caught the attention of the dog.
- Curt (9/5): We came to Wales to view a house for sale , so we might be back ! - Lovely site , friendly and the owners had put a lot of hard work into making everything right ! Nothing ...

- Tallulah (10/5): Fantastic stay with a warm welcome - Location, hosts and accommodation were all fantastic! A really lovely hut with great facilities. The hut was nice and quiet and the location was perfect for close by attractions. Hosts were so welcoming and approachable which really made the stag feel so personal. We also made use of the pool table and board games which was a great addition. Thank you both! Nothing!

- Yeat (8/5): Loved my stay at the Stags Hyde. - Loved the location,! And surroundings! freedom for my dog izzy, weather was awful but I visited. All the the lovely attractions, the stag and garden fab , the hosts were a very hard working couple and their children were gorgeous including their animals lol No microwave and I had brought ready meals !! And I could only liken the pillows to concrete steps they were so hard 😫 if I visit again whitch I'm sure I will il take my own pillow my bones are 75yrs 😆
- Anonymous (9/5): Superb - Really cosy and had everything needed, I liked how there was our own private bathroom/shower and a place to cook.
- Neil (9/5): Lovely place for a short stay - Lovely little shepherd's hut, perfect for a couple of night stay while visiting the area. Even though it is a small space, it has pretty much everything you could need A microwave oven combo rather than a hob would have been more useful for those wanting to make their own food rather than eat out, but just personal preference.
- Cristina (10/5): Peaceful stay - We loved having the fields at our door step. Our dog was so happy all the time and he had so many zoomies. For us it was super easy to open the door and let him out.
We also loved the fantastic views while cooking or sitting on the bed. Another highlight was enjoying the sunset while having dinner outside. Overall it was a very peaceful experience. Very minor thing. Due to the rain, we had to sit inside most of the time. The stools inside are not comfortable and they could be replace with two low chairs and a foldable table. Like this you can sit in the middle of the room and enjoy the views.
- David (9/5): Super cabin beautifully furnished and very comfortable -
- Patricia (10/5): Great few days in a lovely property . - The property is small but perfectly formed ! It had everything we needed for a short break . The decor is lovely. It was spotlessly clean …..just perfect ! Nothing

Separate enclosed area with the hut ideal if you have a dog.
Kind provision of milk, tea and coffee very welcome after long trip. Nothing.
- Tina (10/5): absolutely stunning, will definitely be returning. - the stags hide is very unique, I’ve never stayed in a place quite like it before and it was really lovely!
- Sue (10/5): Perfect location and accommodation. - Wonderful location and stunning sunsets. The Stags Hide is set in its own fenced off area, making it perfectly safe for our Yorkie. Beautifully furnished accommodation with all the amenities required for your stay. The owners are very friendly and accomodating and at hand should you have any queries. Perfect setting for a barbecue or fire (provided) and a glass of wine at night. Great local pub and fab Sunday lunch. Plenty of local pubs in the area and easy access to the coast for walks or swimming. Loved everything about our break and our stay at Oakfields - were back in October 🌝. Thank you Kerrie & Dave.
- Anastasia (10/5): peaceful and perfect location for many day trips to beach and children’s activities as well as nature walks and castles - beautiful location with lots of thought out into facilities with games room for children and field to run in and safely let dog off lead nothing it was exceptional
