Guest Reviews
- Kathrine Lloyd (6/5): Decent place for a night or two. Can’t reccomend either annexe - Convenient location. Decent decor, main hotel building impressive Street noise. Average breakfast
- Karen (8/5): Overall a great stay. - Great selection of items for breakfast. Quality of bacon.
- Shane (10/5): -
- Antonela (8/5): - Great location and very friendly staff. Everything was sparkling clean, and the toiletries provided were of excellent quality. The overall atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable, making for a very pleasant stay. Would definitely recommend and happily return
- Agustina (10/5): Si vuelvo a Swansea, me alojo ahí!

- Kelvin (9/5): - Excellent location, very clean and comfortable. Good breakfast. Toaster for breakfast, took 4 cycles and toast was still white ?
- Aled (8/5): As expected ideal location - Very satisfied ideal location and parking good.
Staff very good and cleaning staff excellent. Satisued
- Amanda (10/5): A stay at The Georgian. - Staff were friendly, efficient and exceptionally helpful. Changed our room to one on a lower floor to accommodate my husband's knee injury. Room was clean, comfortable, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. Would definitely stay there again. Delicious breakfast this morning. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Liked everything about it - the accommodation, the staff, delicious breakfast and location.
- Antony (10/5): A little luxury while away working! - Very comfortable and luxurious with an amazing bath
- Sophia (10/5): Fabulous - Everything Nothing to dislike
- Sandra (10/5): Traditional stylish stay - Location and style Just as a suggestion, it would be better if there was a small side or support table in the bathroom.

- Nicholas (8/5): Great hotel for a short stay in Swansea - Location - just 10 mins walk from Swansea beach.
- Judith (9/5): Charming room in a lovely hotel with a great breakfast - Great location, really lovely room with all the facilities we needed, and a really good breakfast. Shower was great but the shower door didn’t close quite fully leading to the bathroom floor getting wet.
- Paul (8/5): A pleasant stay - The decor Proximity to the road
- Freya (10/5): Comfy and luxurious - Everything Nothing! Beautiful clean tidy rooms

Also big open room good for feeling like batman!
Would go again.
I will be staying when I come back to Swasnea this month. The showers needs to have something to stop thew water going onto the floor
- John (10/5): - Room upgrade into the main Morgan Hote, staff were polite and friendly in particular Amy who went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful stay, architecture, breakfast, facilities including a Nespresso ! coffee machine in the room Nothing
- neil (8/5): perfect location to explore marina..hotel gave us a 10% voucher for rassois restaurant.. - Lovely hotel comfy bed double shower The only thing we didnt like was the traffic noise
- David (7/5): Good but... - Helpful staff, double shower, good breakfast. Cramped, poor impression going into the entrance door. Too small, difficult to open with luggage, no lift. Step supplied for the raised bed, but was it really needed to be raised? Proved to be a bit of a hindrance.
- Enfys (10/5): Beautiful room, comfortable bed and great location! - The room was beautiful. Clean and the bed so comfortable. We had an amazing time. Thank you Nothing, we'll be back!
- Jade (9/5): -
- Partha (6/5): - Location Noise and spiders
- Julie (10/5): Lots of fun and the staff are so helpful, friendly and accommodating. - Beautiful building and the main hotel, Morgan’s is fabulous too! Everything was great!
- JH1983 (8/5): -
- Alexandra (10/5): Lovely stay, we will be back - Great stay. Amy was outstanding. Could not be more helpful and generous. Great central location and helpful staff

- Chidi (8/5): -
- Chidi (8/5): -
- Susan (10/5): Delicious food, warm, welcoming staff - Amazing traditional property with 21 century facilities All good
- Gail (9/5): - Location was good, we went to see Bronwen in Swansea Arena and it was an easy walk there and back. We were in the very top of the hotel with 50 quite steep stairs to climb, not so good after an evening out.
- Craig (9/5): A Well-Placed Comfortable Hotel - The room was nice and spacious with a very comfortable bed and plenty of power outlets. Furthermore, the hotel was well placed near various interesting attractions and restaurants. The toilet seat was a little too big for the toilet, so it had a tendency to slide around. This is minor, but an annoyance nonetheless.
- N S Kelly (8/5): Almost as good as last time. - Overall, as on previous visits, our stay was everything we needed it to be. The Georgian is a great addition to the main Hotel. We encountered a group of noisy guests who were happy to let doors slam whilst moving between rooms until the early hours, but this is something the Hotel has no control over. On the day of arrival there was a Funeral wake taking place in the function area of the Georgian, we were not told about this when we booked in. It was a little awkward leaving and entering the building, having to go through the group that had gathered. Despite a few hiccups, we already have another stay booked.
- Jane (10/5): Great room and breakfast - Room was comfortable and not too hot, bathroom fantastic, everything spotlessly clean, super friendly staff and fabulous breakfast. I've stayed here numerous times whilst my daughter has been at the university, and never had a bad experience. Nothing!
- Georgina (9/5): Superb hotel, staff very friendly and Rhys on reception remembered us which was so nice. - Great location, acceptionally clean, very tastefully decorated, lovely assortment of coffees, teas and biscuits and fabulous Motown Brown toileteries. Only negative was that the hair dryer did not have a long enough cable, meaning drying my hair was tricky.
- Bishop (10/5): - Please see tick list

- Robert (10/5): -
- Snell (10/5): -
- David (9/5): Lovely cosy, atmospheric room with a beautiful double shower bathroom and great location. - Beautiful decor, fixtures and fittings. Great bed. Great location and beautiful breakfast in another beautiful sister hotel over the road. Every staff interaction was very positve. Definately planning a return stay. One night didnt feel enough. Probably the option of extra pillows, and room a lttle chilly as couldn't get main heating to work. But, am sure these issues have been dealt with had reception been told about them.
- amy (8/5): -
- Rachel (9/5): Lovely room, parking could be improved. - Lovely room with enormous bathroom! Comfortable and nice touch to have a coffee machine in the room. It’s a shame that parking is not included. There is a car park nearby but the walk from it is dark and a bit perturbing at night.
- Daron (9/5): - Clean, classy, excellent location THere were a lot of Stairs to get to the room
- Jack (10/5): -
- Diane (10/5): - The hotel is in a good location for shopping and restaurants. It was spotlessly clean. Rooms are smaller than the main hotel but adequate for your stay. They supplied everything you needed, shower gel, fab coffee machine, hairdryer and more. Breakfast was very good and the staff everywhere were so courteous and friendly. My husband Loved the Welsh breakfast. N/A
- Rhian (10/5): Great - Great bfast and Amy so helpful and cheery
- Hazel (9/5): Lovely hotel with beautiful rooms - Great central location for the theatre. Rooms beautiful and spotless, staff extremely helpful and polite. Would recommend if looking for a lovely place to stay in Swansea Room was extremely hot and couldn't turn heating down
- Julia (6/5): - Freundliches Personal. Sehr lautes Zimmer mit Schimmelgeruch.
- Michael (8/5): Sehr schöne gepflegte Unterkunft - Zentrale Lage und schöne Ausstattung des Hotels / der Zimmer. Nichts
- gregoire (8/5): -

- Jacqueline (9/5): Swansea visit
Jan26 - The welcome, flexibility & support were excellent. Everyone I came into contact with was professional & made me feel my requests were reasonable & expected. Couldnt fault it.
The room & bathroom & room facilities were stunning. Heavy noisy footfall from above in the afternoon, evening, middle of the night & morning was a bit overwhelming. Heavier rugs might help or future sound proofing considered for renovations plans. The room was a bit cold when I entered & when it got dark the curtains only just met enough to give privacy & shut out icy drafts close to the window.
The water for breakfast tea & afternoon tea in the dining room & reception were not boiling or very hot. There might be safety reasons but not a great cuppa.

- Thomas (10/5): Great stay in a tastefully decorated building - Very clean and stylish with good size room and lovely shower room, it’s conveniently positioned right at the heart of Swansea Not a thing it was perfectly suited to my needs
- OlgaKSK (8/5): Comfortable stay but check the parking beforehand - A lovely stay in a comfortable, well-appointed room. You can open the windows. Good value on a Sunday night, £113.84 for bed and breakfast for two. Breakfast is over the road in Morgans, which wasn't clear on booking, but totally fine. The 5* rating advertised on the website is totally misleading as it's just from Visit Wales and does not equate in any way whatsoever to international 5* standards. The parking was a real palaver. We were directed by reception staff who said look for a QR code on the sign. There wasn't one. I couldn't work it out, had to go back to reception and download an app, go into the settings on my phone, try to enter my registration number three times, eventually get to payment etc. etc. Overall I liked the place but the decor is quirky fake Georgian with lots of repro military portraits, and a bit pompous.
- Claire (9/5): -
- Iolo (10/5): -
- Scott (10/5): Amazing room/location - superb staff - Amazing room/location and breakfast was amazing - lovely staff Nothing
- Robert (8/5): -
- Sarah (10/5): Beautiful room with comfortable bed and delicious breakfast! - Lovely cosy room with a comfortable bed, beautifully decorated, friendly helpful staff, nice toiletries and a great breakfast - perfect! N/A
- Olwen (10/5): - Excellent facilities
- Ismail (10/5): -
- Chelsey (9/5): 5 star in Swansea - Location was perfect for us, breakfast is superb, especially given it was included in our rate. Rooms lovely and clean, Molton Brown products used which is a nice touch. Felt very much 5 star Our only grumble was the check in process was a bit unclear (had to run over to the other hotel late at night in heavy rainfall) but staff are very welcoming and friendly so really wasn't an issue. I would also say if you are a light sleeper you may struggle here it's an old building so can be very noisy with doors, stairs etc.
- Nicola (10/5): Beautiful townhouse , excellent location . Friendly accommodating staff! - The decor
- Julie (10/5): Home from home with class - Staff absolutely amazing going over and above to make us feel welcome
- Nick (10/5): - Loved the character of this hotel. Very pleased with my room.
- Alix (9/5): A real treat! - Our room was lovely and we enjoyed the complimentary teas, biscuits and bottled water. The main bar was super busy in the evening but we were happily allowed to take our drinks back to the annex bar at The Georgian. Loved my apple-spiced cocktail and the breakfast was exceptional - wish I could have eaten more. Would have been nice if the bar in The Georgian had been open. And...since you're asking for me to write a bit more... I wasn't a fan of the smell of the toiletries in the bathroom...but that certainly didn't spoil my stay.
- Victoria (10/5): - Beautiful room, great breakfast, helpful staff
- Duncan (6/5): Nice room, poor breakfast - Looks great from outside. The room was lovely and the bathroom excellent. The reception wasn't welcoming as the actual reception is over the road at Morgans. Despite letting staff no on booking and then again on arrival that I needed gluten free and vegan food for breakfast no attempt had been made to cater for this combination. Gf break wasn't vegan. Vegan sausages weren't gf. So food was very limited and breakfast disappointing.
- Alba (8/5): -
- Gordon (8/5): -
- Trouttie (8/5): - Location pillows not great
- Eileen (10/5): Another comfortable and welcoming stay - I love staying at Morgans, and particularly The Georgian. Its a great hotel, in a very convenient location. Its quiet and comfortable and the breakfasts are delicious. All great for working in Swansea central. All great!
- Jane (10/5): Fabulous - Amazing room furnishings. Cleanliness. Friendliness of hotel staff So great little to fault. Just very minor items on breakfast. Was hoping for laver bread ..without cockles & just pork sausages without leeks.
- Eileen (10/5): Great stay again - Comfortable room, lovely breakfast, friendly and welcoming staff
- David (8/5): Very comfortable rooms but no available staff is a drawback. - There is no breakfast in The Georgian; it is available in the sister hotel, Morgan’s. It is a very short walk but that’s still a nuisance on a rainy day (which it was every day we were there.) The breakfast in Morgan’s is quite good though and good value for money. There are no staff in The Georgian. Check in is in Morgan’s.
- john (8/5): -
- Brian (9/5): Definitely a return - Reception support was great on arrival, Reace was very helpful Perfect location
- Aquilino (10/5): -
- Nicole (8/5): Excellent comfortable stay - Beautiful room (King of Oude) on the top floor
Very clean and quiet Not very cosy living room on the ground floor- probably better suited for events
Not initially clear that you need to check in at Morgan’s hotel
- Graham (10/5): Very nice stay and highly recommended. - The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was very comfortable and immaculately clean. Our stay included breakfast which was really good value. Our room was at the front of the property and was quite noisy outside. I’d suggest requesting a room at the back if you want a quieter night.

- Richard (7/5): Ok for short stay - Satisfactory No lift. Parking arrangements confusing
