Vrinda (9/5): Koyna ka Karishma - This resort is a beautiful little haven of eco tourism in lesser known Koynanagar. It is managed and run exceptionally well with small and big cottages, villas and apartments spread all over the property. They have their own farm where they grow their own food and maintain livestock and fish. It's a beautiful property, our stay was in a 2 room apartment with a sitting room and bedroom and a small kitchenette with basic utility items like fridge and microwave and R.O. Their breakfast is pretty good too, special mention for the BBQ which can be organised through them by the riverside. We loved our stay there. The kids got to try their hand at fishing at the riverside which was a super fun activity for them. No negatives here, we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay here.

Archana (10/5): Must visit for a rejuvenating experience at Forest escape, Koyna resort - It's a property worth the visit. Beautiful property with serene views. Hospitality is also good. The property was little expensive because of long weekend.

There were also insects in the tea/coffee maker which were present in the room. The restaurant has a mixed kitchen - a potential problem for vegetarians.

Dhanshree (4/5): Total rip off for Rs 25K a night! - The location is great Where do I begin? We have stayed at this property before and decided to go back for a short stay this monsoon season. The nightmare started with the checkin process. We had made reservations with booking.com. 1st we were told our reservation payment did not go through and that we should pay directly to the hotel and that they would cancel the booking.com booking at the backend. We made the payment. Then an hour later they said I need to cancel the booking.com booking (which was WAY past the deadline) as they cannot in the backend. The saga went on. That would still be ok if the stay was worth the price. While the local staff was FANTASTIC, the resort is EXTREMELY overpriced. You pay for a Ritz Carlton/Taj and get a local roadside hotel experience. Save your money and stay somewhere else.
