Guest Reviews
- Lorraine (8/5): Nice, comfortable place, but car-dependent. - The house was roomy and clean. The beds were comfortable. The neighborhood was safe. The host kept in touch with me. It is car dependent. While you can safely walk in the neighborhood, you do have to drive to town although it is very close. The surrounding roads are busy and as we thought we might bike into town, we realized that was not safe with all the major roads.
- Anonymous (9/5): Easy, quiet and relaxing - Lovely little house, perfect for three adult family members. Hosts were responsive and everything went well. Location was quiet and not far from many attractions. No problems.
- Nikki (8/5): Very good -
- Nancy (10/5): Exceptional - The location was great. Nothing
- Teresa (10/5): Would highly recommend to anyone. - Indoor and outdoor seating. Close to the fire department, which is awesome, but lots of sirens.
- Rebecca (10/5): Exceptional -
- Barbara (10/5): Quiet Neighborhood- Extremely Clean - Everything was excellent- Quiet street. Just a little farther from Downtown Annapolis than I wanted
- Ruth (9/5): Superb -
- Marina (10/5): EXCELLENT - That house is AMAZING! It is way better than the pictures show! Two decent sized bedrooms, with comfy beds, tables, closets, extra linens if needed , very nice living room area-nice kitchen, patio. Everything was clean and neat !
My family and I really enjoyed our stay there and we will definitely come back!
- Alexandra (9/5): Thank you .We needed a place to chill and it was provided . - It was perfect for what we needed plus easy access to highways and DC. Host is THE BEST accommodated to our extra 5 day request: honestly and professionally . I would stay here and only here again. Neighborhood you would think is suspect but all the neighbors are friendly and lived here forever. It’s a hidden gem. I having lived in Albuquerque I know. Honestly probably the safest neighborhood. Can’t say house has tons of pots and pans nor cutting boards but people who stay here probably go out. We didn’t but that’s a different story.
- Cynthia (9/5): Superb -
- Micah (10/5): It's one of the best stays I've been to hands down - I liked the security it made me feel really safe being from out of town and not knowing anything about the area. I felt right at home, and it was very clean. The host was there for all of my needs every step of the way and made sure that I had everything i needed for a great stay. The bed was so soft and comfortable. Thank you for everything. This was definitely a popular stay for my future travels. 5 stars I'm speechless. There's nothing I didn't like about the property. It was a perfect stay. I booked for 3 days, and I was so comfortable I re-booked.
- Micah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Susan (10/5): Excellent property with great value - Just like home! Very cute and stylish. No dryer towels, no kleenex. Body wash bottles almost empty.
- David (9/5): Superb -
- Lisa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tory (9/5): Superb - I liked everything about this little home away from home. I didn't like the on street parking. There is no driveway.
- Elizabeth (8/5): Great deal & we would definitely stay again - Many little convenience’touches’ to welcome guest.
- ample coffee & water
- healthy plants around the rooms
- sound machine
- stocked with basic necessities
**- communication with host was prompt!!!!! Slight smell. Couldn’t decipher if from animals or what.
- Tasha (10/5): Nice 2 night retreat in a cute home instead of a hotel. - It was cute and full of amenities needed. The beds were super comfortable. Having A/C with the high humidity was a life-saver. And having use of the washer/dryer was super helpful too. The neighborhood seemed safe.
- Vanessa (10/5): Brilliant Stay - Great value for money. - Great property. Stayed here as a family. Great base for us. Local supermarket (across the road) was brilliant and had everything we needed.
There was a small problem with the Air conditioning and the owner went over and above to sort this out for us.
Owners were so friendly and kind - cannot fault Gaia House - great value for money. Nothing - everything was great.
- Jennifer (10/5): We were here for a wedding at the Annapolis Waterfront Hotel and this was a perfect place to stay! It was very close to - The Gaia House is a lovely home in a great location with all of the necessary amenities. Nothing! It was great!
- Mari (9/5): So thrilled visiting my five year old grandson that lives in Annapolis. I met my two sons Ut - Kitchen was great for cooking dinner. Loved the big Teflon pan and gas stove. Lovely private house. Cannot think of what I didn’t like. It suited my needs just fine.
- Jessica (9/5): Great location, great home - Excellent location (short drive to downtown Annapolis/USNA, and only a 4 min drive to PA Dutch Market), easy parking, quiet neighbors, clean, and had all the basic amenities. The beds were quite comfortable and it was the perfect amount of space for our family of three. The backyard was nice and spacious, but we didn't get a chance to use it. The owners were super responsive and were so kind to even mail us back something we left behind. The is very minor, but the AC makes a loud noise when auto switching from on/off. If you're a light sleeper I recommend bringing ear plugs to help with the noise change.
- Rebecca (9/5): Very glad to find Gaia - we didn’t know the area at all, but it put us right where we needed to be for the activities th - Fit our needs for what we needed with this trip. We didn’t need to stay in the home very long, but needed a place to meet family and sleep nights. Clean, well appointed. Petty things: Not knowing where to put full trash bags.
We didn’t care for “glade plug ins” but that is just personal taste… we unplugged them and put them back when we left. No problem.
Hung wet towels on hangers in bedroom closet due to limited bathroom space.
- Menu (10/5): Exceptional - Clean, welcoming, nice and calm neighbourhood, nice small terrace and garden.
- Janet (10/5): Exceptional -
- Melody (9/5): Superb - Great location! Loved that we could bring our new puppy to hang out with our plebe. Great value. Would stay again.
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional -
- Juanita (10/5): Exceptional -
- Meaghan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anonymous (9/5): Superb -
- Tiffanie (10/5): Exceptional - We travel full time and at the moment our trav3l trailer was totaled sooooo we found this home and stayed for a week. Owners were amazing, the cleanest home we have stayed in, omgoodness bed was absolutely amazing. Pet friendly, quiet and safe neighborhood... we wish we could've rented longer. And they are on our stay here again list definitely.
- Eric (8/5): Very good -
- Rosemary (10/5): I would recommend this house to anybody who wanted to visit Annapolis! - The location was perfect! The house was the perfect size for three of us. The house was also very comfortable. They didn’t have any serving bowls, and no tea kettle. I don’t like using a pot to boil water for tea.
- Bennie (9/5): Superb -
- Mike (10/5): Exactly the place we needed -
- Kristen (10/5): Wonderful villa - It was clean and very comfortable. There were also plenty of amenities.
- Blair (8/5): We had a pleasant stay and would stay there again. - The place was very clean, bright and within walking distance of a grocery store which was wonderful. The internet was easy to access and reliable. The host provided two bottles of water per person on our arrival. Lots of clean towels. There were not enough kcups of unflavored coffee for the two of us to have coffee each morning, but there was plenty of tea. Although the AC kept the house very cool, it was rather noisy in one of the bedrooms; however, there was a white noise machine to compensate for that
- Daniel (10/5): Home away from home! Great economical stay. - Easy access; great house with amenities. Clean, comfortable. We will definitely rent this again when we are in the area visiting the grandson and his family. Two bedrooms, kitchen, comfortable living room and even a laundry room! We had no issues! We were very comfortable and happy there. There were soft towels (how did they get them so soft?!) and plenty of amenities. I could not find any problems. Landscaping was also lovely.
- Leanne (10/5): clean, updated, convenient location - super clean and comfy bed. no driveway
- Anonymous (10/5): Cozy and excellent for a getaway! - It was beautifully decorated! It has a feminine charm to it. The amenities were wonderful (smart desks, Netflix through the television, extra pillows and comforters, Keurig, etc). There is also a cute patio area. It is cozy and a great weekend getaway place! There is no driveway to park in but plenty of space on the road by the house in the neighborhood.
