Guest Reviews
- James (10/5): Exceptional - Look the way the place was set out
- James (10/5): Exceptional - I liked away. The place was set out
- Matt (10/5): Exceptional - Location and property were amazing Parking, at one point there were two cars park on the property and road was full. Maybe limit one car per guest group as upstairs had two cars.
- Stumer (8/5): Very good - Location was perfect The front of the house was a bit odd,
- Cathy (8/5): Very good -
- Kerry (8/5): Very good -
- Jackie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gerald (7/5): Good -
- Laura (8/5): Great place, love the funky decor and the view. Would be nice if there was plates, pots etc to use. - Great place to stay, so relaxing right above the water front. Very comfortable with parking off the road. We found there were no plates, bowls, pots or pans of any kind. While we were there only two nights it was still awkward to have dinner
- Judy (8/5): Very good -
- Antoinette (4/5): Disappointing -
- Steve (7/5): Nice but ordinary - Location Wasn't easy access for 2 cars
Upstairs was noisy as they walked around
No coffee cups n no large glasses
Bar fridge froze the food, more a freezer than a fridge
Backyard was untidy n wet, would have been nice to sit outside if it was covered in
- Shobhna (3/5): Poor -
- Justin (1/5): Disappointing. - We ended up not staying at all. With the dark coloured ute already parked over half the driveway, then having to park beside it there was no view at all to be enjoyed. It's a garage, sort of fitted out. To see any water you have to have the two sided garage roller door up. The remote for it wasn't working properly. And of course security wise you can't sleep with garage doors open to the street outside. The shots online are not the reality of when you get there. Shots online show clear window view out to water. We had to scramble and try and find something in the area to stay in at the last minute. I'd like a refund.
- Knight (9/5): Superb -
- John (5/5): Cockroaches, noise for above and life in a garage. - Cockroaches everywhere! But great location. The cockroaches. The live ones and the dead ones littered all over the apartment.
This is a garage conversation and it feels like one.
Upstairs guest very noisy - ended up threatening to call the police.
- Grant (9/5): Superb -
- John (6/5): Too many cockroaches but a great location. Poor insulation from flat above - This apartment is in a wonderful location and with the garage door up it has a magnificent view over the bay. The cockroaches. We have stayed here twice (driven by the location) and both times there were cockroaches in the kitchen running around the food.
Also this is a converted garage and it feels like a converted garage. It is a very odd layout and the noise from the people above is extreme.
- Nicole (10/5): Exceptional - This place was lovely inside and out .the views were amazing and was very peaceful. Would definitely be back and recommend to others
- Peter (4/5): Could not spend much time in the accommodation you could if you wanted to stare at walls ! Roller door had to stay down - Unable to get free to air tv you need an account to access it . No iron . Window in one of the bedrooms doesn’t close properly so it makes a terrible noise with the wind !
- Neil (8/5): Perfect for a long weekend on the peninsula. - Location is about as good as it gets on the Redcliffe peninsula. The unit was lovely and clean. The bathroom is really funky. The kitchen is very good and all you would expect from a kitchenette. Good parking and easy access. The lounge area is quite small even for 4 people but has lovely breezes with the door open.
- Paul (9/5): Superb -
- Joziena (5/5): AVOID, overpriced garage conversion. hot and dark. - Location was good, right across the road from the beach. HOST DID NOT RESPOND TO ANY MESSAGES LEFT ON BOOKING.COM AND THE MOBILE NUMBER THEY LEFT.
Apartment is a converted garage which was dark, and cave like with no light. You need to open the garage doors to get any light or ventilation. Only one of the garage doors worked, and the neighbors had parked their car up against the door so it was like they were parked in our 'sitting' area. Air con was in dining area only, BEWARE THE AIR DOES NOT REACH THE BEDROOMS, very hot and stuffy. Only one bedroom had ceiling fan.
The sitting area only had room for 2-3 adults - suggest you get rid of the pool table and provide more seating!
The TV did not work! Bathroom was lovely, but the shower design caused the bathroom floor to get very wet.
Nice beach across the road, but dog beach - with owners who did not pick up after their dogs.
Perhaps some of these complaints could have been addressed if the host bothered to answer messages!
- Maksym (8/5): Very good - We enjoyed the unit as it was clean, well-equipped, everything worked excellent.
The beach front location allowed finding great time for going out, even on a mostly rainy day with some intermittent good weather. The 103C unit is on the first floor and has another unit on top. The ceiling was apparently very thin, so any noise / footsteps from the above unit could be easily heard.

- Karen (5/5): Unit was value for money, but disappointed we had no view, no tv. - The unit was clean and comfy, beds were great. The unit was well organised Disappointed that the above photo was what sold us to rent the unit. Unfortunately the doors didn’t open, so there was no oven front view we looked at the garage doors. Plus no tv channels.
- Paula (6/5): Pleasant -
