• Pjotr (7/5): - The bed and blanket was very comfortable and the AC worked well. But the room isn’t ventilated well which leeds to a bit of a moldy smell. The shower worked well. The terrace in front of the hut is tiny but we did sit there shortly at night. The hotel compound is quite nice, the hosts are friendly. The beach beds were handy. As mentioned above, the room lacks of ventilation. Furthermore we found some cockroaches in the bathroom. The hotel’s restaurant place party music loudly from sunset till around 10 pm which only attracts a certain crowd - not us. The whole main beach in Arambol is quite beautiful in itself but has a weird vibe… Groups of Indian men gather there to party and to stare. It’s not the hotel’s fault but next time, we’d rather choose an accommodation further inland, rent a scooter and go to more quiet places.

• Janette (8/5): Staff were great and location wonderful. - It was my friends Birthday and I sent a message the day before and asked if a cake could be arranged and possibly decorate their room, which they did brilliantly with balloons and fairy lights . The cake also had a sparkly candle, so was a great addition to our stay.

Only one draw back is you have to park your Motorbike / Car close by in the local beach carpark , however the staff carried my luggage 🧳 to and from the hotel 🙏👍 Parking
• Julie (7/5): Good budget option - This is a good budget option. It's clean and comfortable. We stayed in one of the cottage rooms. Comfy beds, good air con and 2 big bottles of water delivered daily. The shower needs to run for a bit to get the water hot but it was good pressure. Location right on the beach. The staff were lovely. It's what you would expect in the £20-30 a night price range in India...basic but comfortable. We didn't eat at the restaurant attached as it didn't look very clean. The loud music blasting was a bit much, would have been better to have a more chilled vibe playlist during the day.

• Helen (10/5): - It's very well located for access to beach. Staff are very helpful and attentive. They arranged to move us to a room with a better view, without us requesting. There's a nice garden area. Bottled water is provided daily and even a mosquito repellent is available. They arranged taxi transfers & pick up of luggage. They suggested eating in Laughing Buddha restaurant next door which served great food at great prices. Initially it's a bit of a shock that you arrive at the beach carpark which is a bit messy! You are advised to contact hotel & staff will come up & meet you there to carry your luggage to the hotel. Be warned - your shoes/feet will get messy! However, once you get over that first drop off, you don't notice it so much. There is a back gate & path out to main shopping area - it's also a bit messy but easier to walk on. Although the balcony seats looked very nice, cushioning would have been good, like they have at bungalows.

• Andrew (9/5): A super comfortable beachfront stay - Our first time in Goa and therefore Maitree was our first stay. We booked four nights and were offered a choice of cabins and we loved ours. From the minute our taxi dropped us in the beach car park the great customer service began. Two men were sent to carry our bags and settle us in our room. Our room was clean and spacious with lovely views onto the garden and just steps away from the beach. The bed was perfect, clean sheets and comfy pillows. We even got given two extra when we asked. Cleaning was daily as was the provision of bottles of water. Would we stay again? Definitely. Hot water in the shower would have been a real plus as there was none. Fine for me but a lady likes a warm shower.

Perfect location - Stayed here 3 times in the past before covid just had to return again Fab location brilliant comfortable room with everything you could possibly need. Friendly staff especially Annad who looked after us 100% always on hand asking if we were ok whether on the beach or in the restaurant what a lovely young man. Hotellpersonalen var bra och hjälpsamma. Rummet vi ha de sista nätterna var helt okej. Restaurangen var en katastrof, så smutsigt, såg aldrig någon äta där. Enbart personalen som hängde där. Rummet vi fick första natten var smutsigt och nedgånget. I baren fanns inte ens tonic, ingen kunskap om något.
• Vishal (7/5): Stay was very good. Facilities none. - Liked the location, stay was super good, neat and clean. It was at the beach and best among the other beach resorts. Parking is the big issue. In fact there is no parking at the property. While I completely understand that beach property might not have parking at the location however they should be able handle this by talking to Arambol beach parking people. We paid 100 rupees to park our vehicle and everytime we take the car out and come back we pay 100 rupees. That’s horrible. We paid 500 rupees to park our car at Arambol beach in 3 days after paying such huge amount to Maitree resort. There are little scratches on the car and no one would take the responsibility, neither the resort people nor the parking mafia because they have put the board saying they are not responsible for your vehicle. Resort people should take care of this issue at least for the people who are coming to stay there.

Location is near parking and in the middle of the beach so that you can explore the both sides. Landscaping inside resort was really beautiful. • Lukas (5/5): If you are lucky and get a Shack, maybe you can enjoy your stay, but avoid the big Building! - Close to the Beach. I stayed in a Shack aswell as a regular Room for some Days. I liked the Shack, it was good compared to other Accomodation in Arambol. After a few Days i had to move to the big Building, because they were booked out. Avoid staying in this Buidling! It's rundown and not worth the Money. There's also a really bad smell to it. Even after changing the Room inside the Building, i could not feel comfortable. I had to edit my review, because even after 1 week and washing my things several times, i still can't get rid of this disgusting smell.

The location is absolutely perfect – just a minute's stroll from the beautiful Arambol beach, and a short, scenic walk along the coast to the cliff, passing charming market stalls along the way. Beach Road, with its vibrant mix of bars and restaurants, is also just a few minutes away. The Maitree itself is a collection of comfortable huts and apartments set around a peaceful courtyard. It's the ideal base for exploring Arambol.
• Birgit (10/5): A very nice stay right at the beach - The room was spacious, clean and cleaned every day. Fresh sheets and towels every day. Plenty of space to store clothes and things in the wardrobe, shelves and drawers. It had a nice terrace. The hotel is right at the beach, so it was only a short walk from the room to the beach. Wifi worked very well. The staff was friendly and helpful. Everything was fine. As other comments were different, it must have improved quite a bit. It still is a pity that the restaurant does not belong to the hotel.

• Vinil (1/5): Your sleep is definitely going to be ruined due to the noise from the stabiliser, no sound blockage from doors, a temple - Nothing. 1. Connectivity: This property doesn’t have a main entrance connected to a road. Everyone has to enter through the beach. It’s quite inconvenient, especially if you have baggage. Every time you need to get to the resort or out, you have to go onto the beach and walk for 5-10 mins on the sand to get to a big parking lot (which charges you every time you pass through it). This parking lot is then connected to the main Arambol street. 2. Aircon: It works. But there’s a big stabiliser next to it which will make a very loud ‘tak tak’ noise ALL NIGHT! Your sleep is definitely going to be ruined. I asked them about it and they said there’s nothing they can do about it. 3. Hot water: Good luck figuring out how it works. The hot water tap (usually on the left)… if you turn it a little, there’s hot water. If you turn it all the way, then it’s cold water. The cold water tap (on the right) will just make the water super cold regardless of whether the hot water is also turned on or not. So, if you want to shower with hot water, the stream is very very very tiny, you might as well just go jump in the ocean. 4. The hut: The build quality is very shit, you can hear EVERYTHING outside. Inside, certain areas like the top of the fans etc are so dusty that they probably haven’t cleaned it ever since they set it up. You can see the dust piled up. The doors and stuff creek, some are very rigid. 5. Temple: It’s located right next to the temple. And this temple BLASTs music from 5 am and won’t stop. And the doors won’t block the sound AT ALL. So yeah your sleep is ruined. 6. Amenities: They probably do stock up if you ask them. But there’s very little shower gel and hand wash coming out of the dispenser. Very little moisturiser too. There wasn’t any hair dryer like they advertised. Maybe you have ask them, idk. You’re much better off just taking your stuff if you go.

My room was huge with a porch in the garden. They did everything possible to assist me. The beach was two inches away and I sat there for hours every day on a huge lounge with a clean towel and waiters who brought me food. What a paradise. Nothing.

• Hemant (10/5): Seconds away from the blue ocean!!! - We were staying in the wooden cottages, which are smaller in size; if available, I would reckon everyone should book the rooms in the building, the room sizes in the building are more spacious. The room has a more deluxe feel compared to the wooden cottages. It was a straight walk from the room to the beach. It had a quiet garden space, and you were on the beach after walking from your room for a few seconds. Happening food shacks are just a few meters away. Taxi Stand and Arambol market are within 5 minutes of walking distance—a cost-effective experience. The resort staff were very helpful - Happy, Naik and others around. Wooden cottages looked outdated, but we were ok with that; others may not like it. AirCon / Hot Water and electricity was available for 24/7. PS - this review is only about the resort, not the restaurant and shack service. Restaurant and shack services and the cleanliness around the food tables and chairs can be improved. PS - the restaurant management is different from the resort management.

• Akosita (8/5): Good hotel on the beach and spacious rooms! - We had the Deluxe King Room and found it spacious. It’s a basic room right on the beach and for us the air con, fan, clean sheets and fresh towels daily were enough to keep us happy. You’re also right next door to a great cafe and the hotel provides beach towels and 2 bottles daily so kept that in the fridge each day. Lastly staff are helpful and friendly too so you won’t be disappointed. Whilst the location is amazing the taxi drop off point is 200m away. That said the hotel did offer assistance and sent staff to help carry our suitcases to the resort which we were truly grateful for!

• Kanakku (9/5): Great place to relax if you want to enjoy Arambol. Laid back. - Great location on Arambol beach. Just walk out of the property to enjoy the beach. Food at the cafe was great too. Nothing particular. Great place overall.
