Guest Reviews
- Paul (9/5): Tasteful redo of a traditional residence in a terrific location. - Location was excellent. The decor was very pleasant. The design of the bathroom vanities was very nice looking but functionally the mirrors were useless for practical use such as shaving and grooming. This was due to the lighting.

- HUANG (9/5): - 接待人員很友善、房子很漂亮也很乾淨!! 無。
- Rachele (10/5): Bellissima! - Ci tornerei adesso! Casa tradizionale completamente ristrutturata con onsen e sauna. Tutto molto intuibile e comunque viene spiegato molto bene sia da chi dà il benvenuto sia sul tablet a disposizione nella casa. Posizione perfetta, pulita e comoda.
- John (10/5): Great place to stay . Wonderful experience - The property was perfect in every way . Spotlessly clean. Hot tub . Lovely presentation of whole facility

- Jocelyn (10/5): A Winter Stay in Kanazawa - When we arrived, the staff was already at the accommodations to explain the checking process and the house rules. They were attentive and very responsive. The house is well-equipped with amenities, such as heated floors, which were really pleasant. The hinoki soaking tub and sauna were also great luxury features to melt away the winter chill. The rooms were nice and clean, and the beds were very comfortable. The house is within walking distance of many local sights, shops, and restaurants. The house had a modern yet traditional aesthetic, making it a unique and relaxing vacation home. We had also booked a private tea ceremony session at the home, which was arranged through the company. It was a wonderful stay, and I'll be back again!
- Jackie (9/5): Great location but probably a better fit for a family - The location was in a neighborhood on a small street, right near a pedestrian mall area, so you have easy access to convenience stores, shopping and restaurants. The sauna was wonderful at the end of the day (see comment below about extra charge). They provided a telephone so you could easily call someone for help if needed. They also provided QR code info in English for operating everything. We liked that it had two bathrooms-one up and one down (just toilets and sinks- see comment below about the shower). We did not cook but it looked like you could do a basic meal here. It was interesting to stay in a traditional machiya house.
We knew ahead of time that the primary bedroom had 2 full sized western beds and that the second room had 2 futons on the floor- the futons were fairly comfortable. We were a group with 2 couples- we actually gave our older husband the western beds and my friend and I did the floor futons- this worked out fine for our group as we know each other well enough and it was just for a few nights.
There was a washer and drying rack which was nice to have.
There is also a privacy blind, thank goodness, separating the kitchen from the wet room. To be honest, the place, though magazine beautiful, was not that comfortable. The chairs in the kitchen were the only place to hang out for 4 adults- and the chairs were really really uncomfortable .
There was a tatami room upstairs (3rd bedroom) with bean bag chairs, but that was not a good fit for us either. This would be fine for a young family to hang out in.
We thought the extra charge for the sauna area to be a bit high seeing that only 2 out of 4 of us used the sauna, but you had to pay for all 4 people. We never used the steam room option or soaker tub. I think they should just include everything in the price because it is all located in one big wet room where the ONLY shower in the house is located-you are already getting the room wet- so why the extra fee? . We thought the steam room would be separate like the sauna- but the steam room is actually the whole big wet room with only one lounge chair and no where else to sit.
