• Emiko (10/5): Great experience! - A lovely place to stay - with or without children. The staff was very helpful and kind. Everything was well organized, comfortable, and clean. The toy museum located in the same building was a fun and interesting experience! There is no in-house onsen, but we didn't mind going on a short scenic walk to visit the public onsen.

• Katayama (8/5): また泊まりたいと思えるし、周りにも紹介したい宿 - 有馬温泉の中心にあるので 観光、散策にちょうどいい バースデイプランをお願いしましたが、スタッフの方の対応も親切、丁寧で安心してお任せできました。 子供達も大変喜んでいました。 また利用したいと思います。 駐車場が少し遠い点 すこし登ったところにあるので初見では見つけにくいかもしれないです。 駐車場からは無料で送迎の車を出してくださるので その辺りは安心できると思います。

• midori (10/5): とても満足しています - 予約の時点からスタッフの対応が凄く好印象でした。そして、ホテルがとても清潔で子供の誕生日に利用しましたが、部屋に入るとウェルカムボードにお祝いと又朝食時なのも声をかけてくださりスタッフ皆さんの心配りが感じれる素敵なホテルでした。 又、目の前が金の湯で近く年末年始の待ち時間があるお風呂待ちも部屋から様子が見えて良かった。部屋にはカードゲームがいくつか用意されていて楽しかった。親が酔っ払ってなかったらゲームも色々と試したかった… 普段はホテルや旅館に泊まっても何も言わない主人もここはまた来たいといっていました。有馬温泉に来ることがあれば是非また利用させてもらいたいです 良くなかった点は特にないが、どうしてもと言うなら朝食に和食もあれば嬉しかったかなと… ただ、朝食も美味しかったです

• Andrew (10/5): Make arima special with your stay here - Spacious room (biggest one we stayed in while travelling Japan) Cost effective. Extremely comfortable beds Toy theme is great for children. Free access to the toy park Right in front of the onsen Free tickets to access the onsens Lots of boardgames 1 minute from the bus terminal Staff were exceptional A little cold because wind comes through the window. No problem because you get an AC. It is a hotel, not a Ryokan so don't expect dinners. The town tones down early. Eat dinner a bit early. We had to venture to a few places before finding one.

• Blacklidge (10/5): Perfection! - Its was perfect! Super clean and spacious! So many activities via Board games and the host was unbelievably kind, accomodating and fun! I highly recommend this location for anyone in Arima, I hope it becomes a board game capital too! So much fun!! Nothing. It was amazing.
• YENTING (10/5): - Hotel ALGO is located in the heart of Arima Onsen, just steps away from Kin no Yu and many popular attractions and restaurants. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and they provide a variety of high-quality wooden toys that children will absolutely love. They also thoughtfully offer kids’ yukata, allowing the whole family to fully enjoy the relaxing onsen-town atmosphere. The service is truly exceptional. I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to Mr. Shinya Matsuzaki for kindly helping us send an item we accidentally left behind to our next hotel. If you’re looking for a stay that offers a unique experience different from a typical onsen ryokan, Hotel ALGO is definitely the perfect choice!
• Jane (10/5): - Everything about Hotel Algo was beyond comfortable: it was enchanting! We LOVED the toy museum on the lower floors. The room was really cosy with a warm ambience and we loved the raised tatami mat area, and the charming view from the window. The extra,t Touches with the toys and the lightboard. The staff were friendly, warm and extra helpful and the food in the restaurant delicious. The coffee surpassed even the best I've had in Aus!
• Chia Wen (10/5): 飯店位置就在金之湯對面玩具博物館的樓上，提早到可以先辦理入住等晚上回來時行李已經送到房間裡了，四樓公共空間展示非常多有趣的玩具，住宿可以到大廳兌換迎賓飲料，房間提供小點心非常好吃，員工也很熱情，整體感受非常好 - 房間乾淨而且看得出來非常用心再經營 位置在金之湯對面，如果有大型行李會比較辛苦

• Asuka (10/5): 楽しかった！！ - 有馬温泉の真ん中で、アクセス抜群。「金の湯」が目の前で、気軽に楽しむことができた。 一番のおすすめポイントは部屋でボードゲームを楽しむことができるところ。たくさんのボードゲームを部屋に置いておいてくれていて（おそらく家族構成にあったものを用意してくれていた）、どれもとても楽しく遊ぶことができた。 ホテルの方は、おすすめのボードゲームを追加で貸してくださったり、近くの食事ができる場所を紹介してくれたりととても素敵な対応だった。また泊まりたいホテルです。

• Joanne (10/5): Whimsical and Fun Hotel - Our family of 3 had an absolutely fantastic experience during my stay! From the moment I arrived, the service was exceptional. The hotel personnel spoke fluent English, making communication smooth and welcoming. I was greeted with a welcome drink that included local beer—a lovely touch—and local snacks that gave a taste of the region right from the start. The attention to detail throughout the hotel was truly impressive. The thoughtfully curated toiletries and the uniquely designed key card showed just how much care went into every aspect of the guest experience. One of the highlights was the in-room customized board games, which added a fun and personal touch. I was especially amazed by the toy museum spread across three floors—it was whimsical, nostalgic, and completely free for guests to explore. Every corner held a new surprise, and I could’ve spent hours more there. My daughter could bear to leave. The complimentary onsen was another wonderful perk—clean, relaxing, and the perfect way to end a day of exploring. I genuinely wish I had stayed longer. This hotel offers more than just a place to sleep—it offers an experience, full of charm, creativity, and thoughtful hospitality. Highly recommended! Nothing, we will be back!
• Yuen (10/5): Fun & enjoyable!!! - Though the carpark is a little bit far away from the hotel, the shuttle service is very convenient. My kid enjoyed the Toy museum very much. Also appreciated the helpful staff and room cleanliness. The famous onsen “Kin no yu” is right outside!

• Elena (8/5): Confortable hotel with very nice staff - The staff was amazing: Shinya Matsuzaki was so nice and helpful, thanks a lot! The bedroom is so big and it is very confortable because the main onsen is justo in front of the hotel. The town is nice. The town has a lot of hills. Hotel is very good, but we were at the weekend and it was a little bit expensive.
• Yen (9/5): Superb - Comfortable, good location and clean. The only small problem is the car park a bit too far.
• Jarkko (10/5): Exceptional - The staff is exceptionally kind and helpful. We are very grateful for all the help they gave us. Additionally they serve good coffee, you have a chance to play multiple board games etc. The location is also optimal, right next to the main public onsen. Having an opportunity to have breakfast in the hotel would be a plus. There is a bakery very close by where you can have breakfast, but unfortunately it's not open every day.
• Oliver (9/5): A great, well located Hotel that is wonderful for families right in the middle of Arima. - The rooms were large, and comfortable and having board games in the rooms (and the option to swap them at the counter). My daughter also loved being able to access parts of the toy museum at any time. The location was fantastic, and right in the middle of Arima. Everything closes very early including hotel bar/restaurant (between 7-8pm) and there is really no breakfast available at the hotel.
