- EMA TERESA (7/5): Si te arreglas sin WIFI, Bastante buena - En general casi todo estubo bien. Exelente ubicación a dos cuadras de la costa cerca de la biblioteca y con facil accesibilidad a los minibuses que transitan por la costanera y te trasladan a distintos lugares de interés , como la ciudadela o faro ,por un valor infimo de 10 a 20 egyptian pounds. No conté con Wifi los primeros dias recién el último dia supuestamente fue reparado. Ya lo había leido en varios comentarios pero me arriesgué y me fue mal.
- Julie (6/5): Satisfaisant mais pas dans le détail. - Le personnel a été agréable et ils ont gardé nos valises la jour suivant pendant que nous visitions. Les chambres (nous en avions loué deux) ne sont pas clean, il ne faut pas être trop regardant sur la propreté des sols. En revanche les draps semblaient l'être. C'est surtout des normes Égyptiennes qui ne sont pas les nôtres en France.

When I forgot my jacket with valuables in the Uber taxi, the hotel manager helped to track the taxi driver and received my jacket with valuables on behalf of me and helped to reach my Egypt office in Cairo. After check-out and until my jacket with valuables were traced, the hotel manager was online on whatsapp and providing latest update! Many thank to the Hotel and its staff! God bless you all!

- yasser (4/5): - اعجبني موقع الفندق حيث كان قريبا من وسط المدينة وايضا قريبا من الأماكن الحيوية الفندق قريب جدا من البحر معظم الأماكن يمكن الذهاب إليها سيرا على الأقدام عدم تنظيف الغرفة يوميا الاضاءات داخل الغرفة لم تكن جيدة التليفزيون لم يكن يعمل بشكل جيد السراير كانت صغيرة جدا الحمام ضيق

- Mahmoud Elaraby (6/5): - الفندق معقول مش وحش والغرفه كانت معقوله كمساحه وكنظافه وكان لها شباك ع الشارع هو مش فيو بحر لكن قريب جدا من البحر . السعر عالي شويه بالمقارنه بامكانيات الفندق المعقوله و المفروض السعر ينزل شويه عن كده. ومعاملة موظفي الريسبشن وخدمة الغرف في منتهي الزوق والاحترام بشكرهم جميعا. الحمام مساحته صغيره بس معقول ولكن في تسريب مياه باستمرار من الشاور . ومكنش فيه ملعقه مع الاكواب .

- محمد (4/5): The price paid does not match the actual quality and facilities of this hotel. - Nothing I stayed four days at Golden Hoster in Alexandria and the experience was very disappointing. The booking on Booking.com clearly stated a suite with two rooms and a living room, but in reality, it was only two rooms without any living room — completely different from what was advertised. On the first day, I had to wait an entire day for them to fix a clogged sink in the bathroom. Parking around the hotel was a daily struggle. The shower handle broke — it was made of cheap plastic — and I was unfairly charged 500 EGP for it. Overall, the quality and service do not match the high rating shown on Booking.com. The rating is misleading and does not reflect the real value for money.

- Rana (2/5): Not worth it if you value cleanliness and comfort. - The room and bathroom are not clean. One wall in the room had water damage and looked disgusting. Bathroom had insects. The room next to us was being renovated with too much noise right after we checked in. We requested a different room only to be told there are none available. The following morning we woke up to more renovation noise and couldn't sleep again. Staff was apathetic at best and did not offer any tangible solutions. I won't be staying there again.
- Jennifer (7/5): Quite a good stay and if they went non- smoking it would be an asset. - The bed and pillows were lovely and comfortable. The room was spacious and quiet. The air conditioner worked. The staff were helpful in arranging taxis etc. Every room and reception was available to smokers and although they sprayed the room heavily the smell came back the next day. The fridge did not work at all..Although my room was not located to a main road,it was still a little noisy until about midnight then quiet, so not a big problem.

Also two persons in the reception, a lady and the other of the gentlement were very kind and helpful and we felt welcome to the hotel by these two persons in the reception. One gentleman in the reception felt quite aggressive and not especially helpful or cooperative. Always demanding more payment for any little thing and also took double payment for one person for the first night because he claimed that the person had arrived two hours later than informed in the booking.

The air conditioning was not working, and the kettle in the room was also not functioning. The windows had no insulation, allowing all the noise and wind to enter. There were no bathroom slippers, and water was leaking onto the floor from one part of the toilet.

- Merete (8/5): Beautiful Alex - I booked 2 rooms - one for my husband and I and the other for my cousin who travelled with us. The location was central and close to many sites, restaurants and shops. The staff were amazing and friendly. Both rooms were very clean and spacious. We did encounter a couple of plumbing issues which staff went out of their way to have fixed for us. Would recommend for a short visit to Alexandria. Wifi was a bit erratic.

The facilities were old and dysfunctional ... the rooms are not consistent... this is not a well setup hotel... like a big house converted into a hotel, so the user experience there is not comfy if you are used to getting into a well established hotel... if you have good tolerance, then this will be a good choice
