• Anna Vecsenyi (10/5): Friendly hotel with excellent location by Mylopotas Beach - Nissos Ios is perfectly located right by Mylopotas beach, enveloped by rugged and protective mountains, near several restaurants (do try the exquisite Bamboo Restaurant & Cocktail Bar just downstairs and Aloha for breakfast or lunch - a 1-minute walk away along the beach), supermarkets, a 30-minute walk or a 10-minute (€2.00) bus ride from Chora (the main town), and a 15-20-minute bus ride (also €2.00) from the Port - buses run until midnight. All you have to do is cross the road and you're at the fabulous Mylopotas beach with comfortable sunbeds, yellow sand, crystal clear emerald water and Mylopotas Water Sports (manned by the coolest team - check out their boat trips along the beaches of Ios for sure)). The hotel is run by the lovely Petros and his family. Petros was kind enough to pick me up from the Port upon my arrival and also provide transfer on my way out. He wants to make sure everyone has the best time. I had the perfect room (in the recently added wing of the hotel) with a double bed, and a small balcony providing the best of both worlds: an amazing view of both the mountain and the beach. The morning would carry the distant sounds of goats or sheep and their bells ringing. If you are looking for a relaxing place to stay in Ios, near the beach, Nissos Ios is the perfect choice - I had a wonderful time and would gladly visit again (and wish I could've stayed longer). While overall the room was clean, bins were emptied daily, towels and sheets were changed regularly, there is room for improvement for the daily cleans, such as including wiping down mirrors, cleaning around the sink, where the water spills, wiping down flat surfaces around the room.

La struttura è per lo più idonea per persone giovani e festaiole. Camera piccola/basuca e pulita, consigliata per massimo 2/3 notti. Le camere non sono insonorizzate quindi durante la notte/mattino sentivamo il caos dei ragazzi che rientravano dalla nottata di festa. Il rubinetto del lavandino era guasto e ad ogni apertura si allagava il piano, la doccia non presentando né vetro né tenda era un allagamento continuo

• Michail (6/5): - Το δωμάτιο είναι σε εξαιρετική τοποθεσία, δίπλα στη παραλία. Δυστυχώς το δωμάτιο αυτό καθεαυτό δεν ήταν αυτό που περίμενα. Η πόρτα της τουαλέτας δεν έκλεινε καλά, η κουρτίνα της ντουζιέρας ήταν ουσιαστικά άχρηστη γεμίζοντας το μπάνιο με νερά μετά το ντουζ, και γενικά όλο το μπάνιο ήταν κάπως παλιό και όχι καλά συντηρημένο. Επίσης από καθαριότητα δεν μπορώ να πω τα καλύτερα. Στο μπάνιο βρήκαμε ένα σκοτωμένο κουνούπι, έξω η πτυσσόμενη απλώστρα για τα ρούχα ήταν βρώμικη με ιστούς αράχνης όπως και επίσης τα τραπεζάκι με τις καρέκλες έξω. Το δωμάτιο είχε μικρό ψυγείο και air condition, με μια τύπου κρεμάστρα. Δεν είχε κάποιο σκαμπό ή καρέκλα μέσα. Επίσης το βράδυ το μαγαζί που είναι δίπλα έχει κάπως δυνατά τη μουσική και δεν μπορείς να κοιμηθείς με ανοιχτά παράθυρα. Θα το πρότεινα λόγω τοποθεσίας, που είναι τέλεια, αλλά όχι σε αυτή τη τιμή (400 ευρώ για 3 βράδια) και με αυτή την εικόνα.

Ουτε για 50€ δεν θα πηγαινα εκει!!(θα ηθελα να μπορουσα ν ανεβαζα κι αλλες φωτογραφιες!!)

We had a view from our room and when we wanted to go to the beach we would cross the street. It may not be a luxury resort but it was amazing none the less. I would have appreciated a blanket and not just a top sheet but that might just be personal preference.

• Veronique (10/5): Amazing! - I had a wonderful stay at Nissos Ios. From the moment I arrived, the staff was extremely welcoming. They picked me up at the port and also brought me back for my departure, which made everything so easy. The hotel is located right on a beautiful beach with mini markets and restaurants close. They also offer sunbeds at a cheaper price than other places nearby, which was a great bonus. The location, service, and overall atmosphere were excellent. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again!

The staff were always friendly and helpful. The location is great, across the street from a beautiful beach with crystal clear water and close to Chora (we recommend going by bus, the station is right in front of the hotel). We liked everything and recommend staying here. ♥️

Would stay there again. - Location (beachfront), the beach (Mylopotas), the room with sea view, super friendly staff The toilet did not smell so nice on the first night, plus in the morning the shower did not have hot water on the following day. To be honest, these were not big challenges that would prevent us from staying there again. As a suggestion, please adjust the shower curtains to get closer to the drain area so there is not much water around it during the shower.

Staff foi dos mais prestáveis que alguma vez encontrei, foram buscar-nos ao porto de Ios às 1h30 da manhã, quando o nosso barco chegou quase 1 hora atrasado. Apesar das utilidades serem um pouco antigas, tudo funciona muito bem, nomeadamente AC, frigorífico, tal como os colchões que são confortáveis. Nada a apontar.

• VASILIOS (7/5): Μπροστά στην παραλία με καλή σχέση ποιότητας - τιμής - Είναι μπροστά σε θαυμάσια παραλία και μπορείς να πας αμέσως να πας για τη βουτιά σου. Προσφέρει δωρεάν ομπρελοξαπλώστρες στους ενοίκους. Κοντά υπάρχουν Μίνι Μάρκετ, Ρεστοράν, Club και οτιδήποτε χρειαστεί για να καλύψει τις ανάγκες σου. Υπάρχει πολύ τακτική συγκοινωνία για την Χώρα της Ίου και το λιμάνι. Το δωμάτιο Νο 1 που επέλεξα λόγω της μεγάλης βεράντας του, είναι μεσοτοιχία με την κουζίνα του διπλανού εστιατορίου. Από το μεσημέρι μέχρι μετά τα μεσάνυχτα ακούγονται όλοι οι θόρυβοι της κουζίνας και το πλύσιμο των πιάτων. Συνιστώ να το αποφύγετε. Επίσης καλό θα ήταν να μπουν σήτες στα παράθυρα των μπανιων, τουλάχιστον.
• Biagio (9/5): - L’hotel si trova in una zona tranquilla e piacevole, poco distante (circa 5 minuti in macchina) da quella che sarebbe l’unica cittadina dell’isola. Affacciato direttamente sul mare permette agli ospiti di beneficiare di una vista armoniosa e rilassante. La spiaggia lì di fronte è ricca di ombrelloni con sdraio, ma vi è la possibilità di sostare anche su spiaggia libera. Le camere dell’hotel ci hanno accolto in quell’immaginario che si ha sulla Grecia, rendendo il soggiorno rilassante. Inoltre, la camera disponeva di tutti i comfort possibili ed immaginabili! Oltretutto, un grande riconoscimento allo staff che ci ha accolto con grande gioia e disponibilità.

• Chris (9/5): Excellent choix - Excellent accueil de tout le personnel : patron et employés. Ils font tout pour que le séjour se déroule bien. L'hôtel est idéalement situé face à la mer, devant la belle plage de Mylopotas : il suffit de traverser la route. De plus, l'hôtel fournit gratuitement les Sunbed. La chambre a été bien rénovée au goût du jour, la SdB dispose d'une grande douche. Sinon, frigo, sèche cheveux, bouilloire, TV et clim sont au rendez-vous. Restos et bars tout autour. Mais aussi supérettes. Toutefois pas de boulangerie. A côté de l'hôtel se trouve un bar lounge. La musique n'est pas très forte, mais nous y étions en début de saison, donc pas encore beaucoup de monde sur cette plage très renommée de l'île. Peut être prévoir des bouchons d'oreille pour ceux qui se couchent tôt 😉.

The rooms are being renovated and we stayed in an updated room which had a very comfortable bed, good bathroom and wifi. The owner of the property allowed us to have a late check out and he dropped us off to the port- highly recommend. Having to leave!

C’était juste parfait, l’emplacement est idéal, selon moi le meilleur endroit pour loger sur l’île, à 5 min en quad de chora et avec une plage magnifique juste en face. Le personnel est adorable. Et tous les équipements dont nous avions besoin était là. Le jardin avec jacuzzi est vraiment un plus. Je conseille fortement cet hôtel le niveau qualité prix et fort.

The service of the staff was great and the property is obviously well cared for. Its an awesome spot on Mylopotas beach with a great bar and grill in the front. The only negatives were a funky musty smell in the rom and the bed was like a rock to sleep on. I woke up with sore shoulder and hips each morning - it was so hard.

• Annie (4/5): Απαράδεκτο - Όλα ήταν σε κοντινή απόσταση και το κατάλυμα ακριβώς δίπλα στη θάλασσα. Οι παροχές δεν ήταν άξιες της τιμής. Στο δωμάτιο δεν υπήρχε κάποια ντουλάπα για τα ρούχα, αναγκαστικά ειχα τα ρούχα μ μέσα στη βαλίτσα ολες τις μέρες. Η καθαριότητα του δωματίου γινόταν μέσα στο μεσημέρι όταν χρειαζόμουν το δωμάτιο αντί για νωρίς το πρωί όπως σε όλα τα καταλύματα. Δύο φορές με ξύπνησαν το μεσημέρι χτυπώντας την πόρτα για να μπουν να καθαρίσουν ενώ έπρεπε να γίνεται νωρίς το πρωί. Είχε ένα τραπέζι μπαλκονιού το οποίο δε χρησιμοποίησα καθόλου καθώς δεν είχε ούτε μπαλκόνι και η είσοδος στο δωμάτιο ήταν κοινοχρηστος χώρος για να απλώνουν τις πετσέτες τους οι υπόλοιποι πελάτες ή για να περνάνε να πηγαίνουν στα δωμάτιά τους. Στην περιγραφή λέει παροχή ομπρέλες και ξαπλώστρες, και όταν έφτασα μ είπαν ότι συνεργάζονται με το διπλανό κατάστημα bamboo που αν θα έλεγα το όνομα του δωματίου θα είχα έκπτωση, άρα έξτρα χρέωση, άρα δεν ισχύει ότι είναι παροχή του καταλύματος. Καλό θα ήταν να είναι πιο επιμελείς και να παρέχουν οντως τις υπηρεσίες που αναγράφονται . Η τιμή που πλήρωσα δεν ανταποκρίνεται καθόλου στην αξία της εξυπηρέτησης και την εικόνα του δωματίου. • Selena (8/5): - La posizione è perfetta , a pochi minuti da Chora e direttamente sulla spiaggia, illuminata dal sole dall'alba al tramonto. Nelle vicinanze è pieno di ristoranti, si può mangiare di tutto. Con un mezzo a noleggio gli spostamenti sono stati semplici, ma abbiamo visto passare parecchi autobus e la fermata è davanti all' hotel. Staff molto gentile e disponibile, ha risposto a tutte le nostre domande Il bagno ha bisogno di manutenzione, soprattutto la doccia. Il tubo ha la ruggine e ad ogni utilizzo si allaga tutto.

• Maximilian (10/5): Excellent - The hotel is directly at the beach. It’s very well maintenance and looks stunning. Also the cleaning guy was pretty handsome.
