• Kerry (9/5): Centrally located to the Cotswolds and close to Cheltenham. Lovely cabin in a quiet location. - Quiet location, clean and well equipped, comfortable bed, large shower room and modern kitchen. No view as the balcony looked out onto trees in the garden but it was lovely and peaceful.

Very nice shower room, responsive host. Quiet location at the host's property. We were in an apartment above a large garage. The lane leading to the property was a very sharp left turning up a steep hill. Cleeve hill was a fast busy road, so you had to be very careful coming out of the lane.

• Jumile (10/5): Exceptional - The breakfast was a great selection, catered to both our tastes. The kitchen had all the mod cons, and everything to make a good breakfast as we were in a rush. My favourite thing was the dishwasher, could not fault the facilities at all. I did have a hard time getting up to the room in heels after a long night so maybe some support or railing on the path through the trees, but it is worth it for the gorgeous view and privacy.

• Natasha (10/5): Beautiful location, comfortable very private and romantic hideaway. - The location was wonderful within easy reach of many towns and villages, and within walking distance to the nearest pub. The property itself was very private and hidden away amongst trees. A continental style breakfast was left for us in the kitchen and there was plenty for the duration of our stay. Nothing.

• Judy (10/5): Ideal for visiting Cotswold villages. - Location in the Cotswolds was exactly what we were looking for to complete our vacation - Ideal for visiting the quaint villages within 30 miles. We had an entire "cottage" to ourselves, with beverages & snacks provided. Nothing really inside - there were a series of steps outside from the driveway to the lodging that could be problematic for guests with mobility issues.

• Nikoletta (10/5): Exceptional - We had a fantastic time thanks to the lovely hosts who both went over and beyond to make our stay perfect. They were super accommodating and hospitable. The apartment was perfectly equipped and done up to a high standard. The complementary breakfast was a super addition. The location is fantastic, being surrounded by nature, the view is brilliant from the apartment. There is a fantastic terrace with barbeque that you can also enjoy if you're lucky with the weather. Definitely recommend this apartment and looking forward to staying here again!

• Katie (7/5): Nice apartment but pictures misleading - Its a lovely little apartment in a lovely peaceful location, the facilities are good and they supply you with everything you'd need and lots of food and snacks which we loved. The first picture on the listing is not the picture of where you will be staying which is really misleading, we were very confused and a bit disappointed when we arrived. Please take this picture off the listing. It also stated dog friendly, and we requested 2 adults and a dog, only to be told when we arrived that there was an extra charge of £40 for the dog, this needs to be explicitly stated as we were unaware. We found the bed and pillows quite uncomfortable, it was very soft and the pillows very flat.
• Jane (10/5): Very relaxing and an excellent equipped property - The breakfast was an excellent variety,the fresh fruit an added bonus. Jonathan made us and our two dogs very welcome . We found the steps up to the property very steep,but it was certainly worth the effort to have such excellent accommodation .
• Nicholas (8/5): A relaxing stay in a very secure compact flat with high standard of equipment and facilities - The supplied breakfast was very good, Milk Bread selection of good yoghurts and coffee etc.., The place was very secure behind a security electric gate which we were given a key to by the landlord. We were supplied a high end charcoal BBQ - Kamado joe junior, very pleased with this, we used twice and the landlord supplied and cleaned the bbq grill for us to use on the second day of our stay too. The Bathroom supplies were very generous too and the quality of the shower was very good, large walk in shower area and very powerful water pressure. The steps leading up to the property were not that great, someone elderly or fragile would find it difficult going up and down with luggage and bags, would definitely suggest some handrails are required for the steps area, and more lighting required around the steps. The property didn't have a EV charger which wasn't a huge problem, when I connected my three pin domestic adapter charger the landlord asked me to disconnect it as he said his listing doesn't specify a EV charging, but a suggestion would be to the landlord to supply an actual EV charger point. I would also suggest to the landlord to remove PHOTOS Number 1 ( With the car parked in front of the property) & number 6 because these are photos of the landlords house which is opposite the actual flat and we actually were confused we thought we were expecting that property in Photo no.1, The actual exterior of the flat is in photo number 14. Please remove photos number 1 & 6 there is no need for them, and a Photo of the exterior side of the Large wood en gate would help other guests easily locate the property, as I went all the way up and had to call the landlord to come outside the gated area, these are only polite suggestions not criticisms. I would have liked the check out time to be at 11:00am rather than 10am was a bit early for me.

• Sarahj2904 (9/5): Fabulous secluded chalet off the beaten track, cosy and comfortable, dog friendly too! - The chalet was cosy and clean, with a little kitchenette with all the amenities, a gorgeous comfy bed, and a spacious bathroom. Underfloor heating throughout, and a lovely balcony to enjoy the secluded countryside views. The host was very attentive and easy to get a hold of at the main house, they're close by but distant enough for privacy. Not a dislike, more a personal preference, it wasn't wheelchair accessible and tricky for anyone who struggles with steps or incline. The steps to and from the chalet were very steep, and a couple were wobbly.

• John (10/5): Exceptional - Hidden gem. Peaceful and quiet. The steps up are not regular heights. Perhaps a gentle path from the gate round to the rear of the property would make it better accessible for those not liking stairs.
• Russell (9/5): Great spot to relax for 3 nights after 10 nights of one night stays. - Location was great. Pretty and quiet and secure. Good walks nearby. Good spot to drive from and explore the area. Host recommended a restaurant which we went to and had a great meal and a lovely evening. The Kings Arms in nearby Prestbury. Nothing really. We're used to thicker pillows at home but have noticed that all the places we have stayed at in England seem to have thinner pillows.

• Shu- (8/5): We had a good stay in here. Very nice surroundings and quiet place. - The accommodation is carefully planned, everything function well and nice/green surrounding. The breakfast materials are provided in the fridge and kitchen. The owner lives nearby, very quick response your questions. If I have name one, probably is the bed, cover and sheet are nice and soft, but the bed is a bit uncomfortable, I can feel the movement every time when my husband turns around during the night.

Lovely spacious venue with high quality fittings. Lovely size bathroom with amazing shower. Kitchen well fitted with all amenities. Continental breakfast supplied with good selection of cereal, fruit and yoghurt and bread. Coffee pod machine plus additional ground coffee and cafetiere. Perfect location to go off and explore Cheltenham and the beautiful Cotswold Villages. Nothing. Everything about our stay was perfect. Would definitely stay agian

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like!

Our hosts were polite and friendly. Very accessible if we needed anything. Great touches such as the fresh produce milk and snacks provided for us. We really enjoyed our time and wished we'd booked for longer. We would definitely 100% stay there again. Thank You. Only issue was the bed was a little uncomfortable but a topper would fix that and a few extra pillows.

The food that was supplied for breakfast including delicious bread, orange juice, fruit and a range of cereals and jams etc. This was one of the very best places that we have stayed at in our holiday and we can't thank Elaine enough.
• Andy (10/5): Weekend with the dogs… - The property was stunning. It was clean, tidy and had a very nice element of luxury around some of the additional touches the hosts provided. I travelled with my wife and 2 dogs for a weekend away and this place would be ideal for a couple getaway or somewhere to stay for Cheltenham races. The host was very attentive and this really was an excellent experience all round. We would highly recommend this place and definitely stay again. There was nothing we didn’t like.

Charming and cozy accommodation, very clean, and great bre - - Flat was well equipped with a full size kitchen and washing machine. - Great breakfast selection and fruits - Lovely soaps, shampoo - Would recommend adding coco powder to the breakfast options for people who don’t drink coffee.

• Sarah (10/5): Quiet, perfect location for a last minute stay and close to Cheltenham. - Clean, tidy, facilites were great including the breakfast basket on arrival full of essentials. This property isn’t suitable for a week long holiday as storage was limited. Also lack of plug sockets near bed.

The kitchen was good and there was very generous selection of food and drink provided. The host was quick to meet me and gave me a quick but complete tour before leaving me to settle in. The property was secure and was behind a driveway gate, for which I was given a key fob.

• Jon (9/5): A first choice for regular visits. - The location and facilities at the the property were excellent. Far enough out of town for a peaceful night, while near enough for a short journey into head office. Self contained with all essentials available.
• Wendy (10/5): High quality accommodation which was great value. - Such a generous selection of food and snacks and fruit was left for me which were all delicious and very much appreciated. The little kitchen was great and meant I could self cater. It's a very convenient 13mins drive from central Cheltenham where I was working on the weekend. I struggle to think of anything which could be improved but a lamp or two in the living room area would have made it just a bit more cosy. The only lighting was ceiling lights which are a bit stark.

I failed to read all the information sent me so him being available made my experience seamless. It’s an excellent local for getting around the Cotswolds. Quiet location with everything within reach by car including places to eat and the supermarket for eating in. Great hosts that genuinely care about your accommodation experience.

A true hide-away on Cleeve Hill, a quiet location with squirrels playing in the surrounding trees, but close enough to Winchcombe and Cheltenham for restaurants & shops. The apartment has everything you need; comfortable bed, great shower and a well-equipped kitchen. Lovely continental breakfast and snacks. Very friendly & helpful hosts, we loved the laminated info sheets with walks in the area. -

• Deborah (10/5): Absolute gem of the Cotswold would love to visit again - High quality breakfast with my favourite sourdough Jason’s bread 🍞 Comfy bread and pillows Peaceful surroundings loved watching the squirrels 🐿️ 🐿️ play in the trees Lovely touches with coffee machine & molten brown products overall a lovely little hideaway perfect for a base to explore the beautiful area. Only fault I could find was as the steps up to the appartment, better lighting and hand rails would be good however I’m sure Johnathan mentioned something about extending the hideaway so this maybe improved in the next phase Weather lol 😂
