• Melanie (10/5): Soothing, nourishing and beautiful. - This was one of the most beautiful accomodations that we have stayed. The building itself is beautiful, the expansive view is stunning. So soothing for the soul. And the breakfast was so thoughtful and so delicious - fresh omelette, fresh crepes, muesli and granola. Everything about the stay felt so deeply nourishing. Elisabeth is a lovely and caring host. Can’t recommend enough and I’ve been travelling for the last 5 months. This has been one of my absolute favourites.

La habitación estaba impecable, muy completa y nos sentimos como en casa, también nuestra perrita. Elizabeth, la anfitriona, es encantadora y atenta — sin duda volveremos.

• Ana (10/5): - Das Haus liegt in einer bezaubernden bergischen Landschaft, umgeben von blühenden Mandelhainen. Es befindet sich in einer äußerst ruhigen und abgelegenen Gegend, die Nähe zur Autobahn (A91/A92) war für unsere Reise sehr praktisch. Das Gebäude ist ein echter Blickfang. Man spürt die liebevolle Zuneigung der Besitzerin zu diesem Anwesen, was sich in ihrem Engagement für dessen Pflege und Weiterentwicklung, wie beispielsweise durch die Installation einer Photovoltaikanlage, zeigt. Bei unserer Ankunft waren die Zimmer angenehm warm. Alle Räumlichkeiten waren sehr sauber. Unsere Gastgeberin war superfreundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück war lecker. Das einzige Manko, für unseren Geschmack, waren die weichen Matratzen.

• Ruth (9/5): Remote, comfortable, and quiet getaway. - The location is very remote which suited us, it is quiet and the surroundings are beautiful. The lady who greeted us was very friendly and helpful and couldn’t have done anymore. The room was comfortable and well set up. The breakfast was prepared for us and there was plenty.
• Stephen (10/5): Wish we'd have stayed longer - Elisabeth was more than welcoming on a windy January evening, explained everything clearly even making a fuss of our small dog Edith.. The bedroom was of a good size with ensuite, underfloor heating, a radiator and the bed was huge and very comfy. The shared lounge area was very cosy with a large log burner, two couches and games. There was also an honesty bar which was very cheap. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of variety and well presented. All areas where spotlessly clean. WiFi was very good in all areas. Elisabeth made us feel special, looked after us exceptionally well throughout, was very caring, thoughtful and very warm. Worth more than one night stay even if passing through. • José Domingo (9/5): Estancia genial en Vélez Rubio - Es el típico caserío de esta zona de Almería donde no falta la piscina en verano ni la chimenea en invierno. La habitación es muy espaciosa con una cama muy grande y cómoda. El desayuno es magnífico, la anfitriona lo prepara personalmente con mucho cariño. El alojamiento está a unos 5 kms. del pueblo (está perfecto si lo que se busca es precisamente eso, estar alejados de todo).
• Birgit (10/5): Alles super schön - Elisabeth hat uns warm und herzlich empfangen – so, wie man sich echte Gastfreundschaft wünscht. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber, vorgewärmt und das Bett herrlich bequem. Der Parkplatz direkt an der Unterkunft ist groß genug, auch für größere Autos. Das Frühstück war richtig gut: frisch zubereitetes Omelette, leckere hausgemachte Küchlein, frischer Orangensaft und guter Kaffee. Getränke kann man sich jederzeit aus dem Kühlschrank nehmen und später abrechnen. Warmes Essen gibt es vor Ort nicht – sollte man wissen. Die Lage ist ruhig auf dem Berg, der Weg hinauf ein kleines Erlebnis. Hunde sind willkommen und werden freundlich empfangen. Wir waren nur zur Zwischenübernachtung da, kommen aber nächstes Jahr auf dem Weg nach Andalusien sehr gern wieder.

Was perfect en ik voelde me erg welkom. Wat een lieve nensen 💋 Niks. Paar wespen in zwembad, maar ja je zit nou eenmaal in de bergen. Niet geprikt trouwens. Kan eigenaar niks aan doen.

• David Home (10/5): Fantastic Casa Rural in a beautiful location - We had a fantastic stay at Las Persianas Azules. Elisabeth and family were great hosts and nothing was too much trouble. The house is in a beautiful location surrounded by open countryside. It is really quiet and tranquil with lovely views all around. There is a large swimming pool that guests can use. It is possible to buy drinks and snacks using an 'honesty box' system. The bed was incredibly comfortable and we both slept really well. Breakfast was served at 9:00 and was most enjoyable, particularly as Elisabeth cooked pancakes for us. The whole experience was really good and we would highly recommend staying there. Best wishes to Elisabeth and family. I wish we'd stayed longer!

Die Lage der Unterkunft ist sehr schön. Ruhig und gemütlich, mit viel Liebe gestaltet. Alles war sehr sauber und das Frühstück der absolute Wahnsinn. Es gab u.a. super leckere Palatschinken. Vielen Dank für alles!! Das wir leider nur für eine Nacht da waren. Doch wir werden wiederkommen!

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in diesem liebevoll geführten Familienhotel. Vom herzlichen Empfang bis zur persönlichen Betreuung während unseres gesamten Aufenthalts haben wir uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Die Zimmer sind sauber, gemütlich und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig, mit vielen hausgemachten Leckereien – man schmeckt die Qualität und die Leidenschaft! Besonders schön fanden wir die familiäre Atmosphäre: Man fühlt sich nicht wie ein Gast, sondern fast wie ein Freund des Hauses. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder – ein Ort zum Wohlfühlen und Abschalten. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit! 💛

• Franc (8/5): Aanrader voor wie op zoek is naar een verblijf in Velez Rubio - Ontvangst was zeer hartelijk. Ontbijt was heerlijk en uitgebreid met broodjes, omelet, pannenkoekjes, divers beleg en schaaltje yoghurt met aardbeien. Standaard kamer met groot bed en badkamer ensuite.

• Patrick (9/5): Schitterende locatie. - Heel mooie locatie op een nog mooiere plek in Spanje. Geweldige gastvrouw die me snel alles uitlegde. Ik bracht er slechts een nacht door, maar dit is een plek om langer te verblijven. Aanbevolen. Wat lastig bereikbaar, dat wil zeggen de navigatie stuurde me een verkeerde weg op. Het had de weg erop moeten zijn. Zoek dit even goed uit voor het vertrek ernaar toe.
• Piotr (9/5): Beautiful, quiet farm house in almond orchards. - Las Persianas Azules is a beautifully located farm house turned into a guest house. We stayed there on our way from Malaga to Valencia and this location suited us perfectly. It is very calm, secluded, surrounded by almond orchards. The house itself is very well maintained, clean and comfy. We stayed in a small double room which was not a problem for a single night, though. We loved the swimming pool (although it was a little cold in October to make use of it). Breakfast was nice and satisfying. Great value for money. And don't miss the stunning views in the nearby Purrullena. We are definitely coming back some time early spring to see the almond trees blossom. Nothing. The land lady put a lot (too much?) emphasis on strict obedience of the house rules which perhaps was somewhat over the top and unnecessary (eg the signage that glasses are to be used only for wine bought at the bar), breakfast at 9am sharp... :).

Wer eine Auszeit in der Einsamkeit mit super Frühstück und Pool zum Entspannen sucht, ist hier richtig. Wandertouren und Besichtigungsprogramm um die Ecke. Sehr klein aber fein. Und vielen Dank für das sehr leckere Abschiedsgeschenk! Endlich mal eine richtige Bettdecke, wirklich toll, nur leider zu viel, so kalt war es in der Nacht noch nicht.
• Elena (10/5): - El personal fue muy amable y estuvimos bien atendidos en todo momento. La habitación era maravillosa igual que el resto de las instalaciones. Un lugar precioso para pasar unos días de relax, para perderse en la sierra de una forma excepcional pero sin perder la oportunidad de acercarte en un momento al precioso pueblo. Solo pudimos quedar-nos un día, ojala tengamos la oportunidad de ir más veces y para más tiempo. Además, justo el día que estuvimos no hizo buen tiempo y no pudimos darle uso a la piscina.
