• Béatrice (8/5): Chambre bien située dans une rue piétonne sans affluence de touristes ou locaux, Bon accueil ! - Nous n'avons pas pris le petit déjeuner Dommage qu'il n'y ai pas eu une bouilloire et sachet thé et café pour le réveil avant de partir prendre un petit déjeuner dans la ville. Dommage aussi que nous n'ayons pas pu recharger notre batterie de téléphone pendant que nous étions parti nous baigner l'electricité dans la chambre fonctionne avec la carte de l'ouverture de la porte.
• Barbara (10/5): Perfekt! - Mitten im lebendigen Monterosso liegt diese Unterkunft perfekt ruhig in einer kleinen Gasse. Ich hatte das helle und geräumige „rosa“ Zimmer mit einem wunderhübschen Bad. Giovanni war ein sehr aufmerksamer Gastgeber, der mir das Zimmer schon vor der regulären Check In-Zeit überlassen hat. Er hat mich gut informiert hat und mir meine Extrawünsche nach einem Wasserkocher und sogar einem Strandlaken schnell und unkompliziert erfüllt hat.

Detalles como las botellas de agua en la nevera que repusieron al día siguiente; también arreglaron la habitación. Gran cama y almohadas cómodas. Perfecta ubicación. Los dos pisos que hay que subir con escaleras muy empinadas, pero ya aparece en la descripción.

• Sharon (9/5): Great location and host - Giorgio was a wonderful host, busy but always available if needed and very attentive. The room was as pictured and described. It was very quiet considering we were located very close to all the restaurants, shops, and bars. It was perfect for wandering the village and waterfront. Giorgio recommended some lovely places to eat, the food was amazing. Our room was on the second level and had a lovely view over a terracotta roof to the hillside and orange and lemon trees down below. It was easy to pop back to the room if you were staying locally. The bed was comfortable and everything was super clean. The breakfast was good and served on a little terrace. We really enjoyed visiting all the other villages on Cinque Terre, but so glad to return to the beautiful Monterosso village each day. There was a lemon festival in town while we were there with lots of music, dancing, and more delicious food. Thank you Giorgio, all the best. The shower cubical was a little small for us but the water pressure and temperature was excellent, and a light at the mirror appreciated.

• Magalie (9/5): Emplacement parfait, calme et agréable - Le fait d'être dans le Vieux Monterosso était très agréable, surtout car les chambres sont situées sur une rue un peu éloignée du centre, pour la tranquilité, mais à peine à 2min à pieds. Chambre spacieuse, propre et confortable avec tout le nécessaire. Douche très agréable également ! L'hôte Georgio est très attentionné et disponible pour toute demande ou conseil. Petit-dej suffisant mais "à la demande" : pas de possibilité de se servir, et comme très peu de place pour s'installer, je me suis limitée alors que je pense qu'il y avait de quoi. Donc pas forcément très convivial. Et pas de boisson chaude autre que celles en machine possible donc uniquement thé ou café.

He also served us breakfast on the balcony every morning which was a lovely treat and sent us away with some food on our final day for travelling. Was all round an amazing experience and I could not recommend our experience staying here enough! Nothing!

• Affaan (10/5): Absolutely fantastic, the host at Marianna Quiet Rooms is incredibly helpful, and the room was great - This room was very spacious and well appointed. The host is incredibly kind, helpful, and knowledgeable about Monterosso and the surrounding towns of Cinque Terre. He made a lot of great recommendations that we took and it made our trip more enjoyable. The air conditioning wasn’t functional during our stay, however this seems like a one off occurrence due to previous guests not following the rules and potentially damaging the unit.

• Monika (10/5): Tolle Unterkunft in der Altstadt - Sehr zu empfehlen! Tolle Lage in der Altstadt, ruhig, großes Zimmer, nettes Personal und gute Tipps. Für uns kein Problem, aber man muss es wissen: Die Zimmer sind nur über eine Treppe zu erreichen.

Ce village est d'après nous le plus beau des Cinque Terre.

Fikk god informasjon av husverten. Fikk dessverre frastjålet hikingstavene like før avreise, da bagasjen ble oppbevart, mens vi hadde et ærend før vi dro.

• Susan (9/5): Three Nights in Monterosso - The host Giorgio was exceptional in his helpfulness and thoughtfulness. The room was spotlessly clean. His directions from the station were excellent. The airconditioner would not adjust below 24 degrees which was a little uncomfortable as it was quite warm inside the room.

I only stayed for one night and it suited my needs. The air conditioner wasn’t working. To be fair, Giorgio turned up within 10 minutes to look at it. Unfortunately, he couldn’t get it to work. However, I realised later it was to do with the batteries in the remote control and I managed to get it working, thankfully, as it was a very hot night.

• Gothard (10/5): Beautiful place and the rooms were tucked away off the main road.really was nice. - Such a cute room with a nice balcony and the host Giorgio was very accommodating Shower was very small but wasn’t that big of deals. You do have to go up a flight of stairs but that wasn’t an issue for us.
• Alistair (5/5): Pleasant enough, but poor AC - location was great, my brief interactions with the staff were good, and the room was very clean and spacious. The matress was too soft, which is obviously a preference thing, but it was the first matress in 7 hotels/guesthouses that I thought was too soft. The biggest issue for me was the AC. They have put a child lock on the AC remote that cannot be bypassed locally. this means you cannot set the temperature lower than 24C° and it turns itself off at around 1am. I do not think this is acceptable, especially when it's July and this is not indicated anywhere.

So accomodating and even got breakfast which was an amazing surprise once we got there, super helpful when we first got there with few tips and tricks for the 5 towns! Couldn’t recommend enough! Phots should definitely be updated because the rooms were so much better than shown!! Loved it !!

Giorgio was an exceptional host – incredibly kind, helpful, and always available. The biggest surprise was the delicious breakfast he unexpectedly served us on the balcony – such a thoughtful gesture that made our stay even more special. We couldn’t have asked for more. Highly recommended!
• Pelle (2/5): Clean room but useless air conditioner - Clean, modern, and great location The air conditioning was worthless. The first two nights it was bad, but the third and last night was horrible because the landlord did something and changed configuration so the default temperature was set to 24 degrees. And the ac was set to be active only in short periods, meaning it became really warm in between, probably around 26 degrees since it was 30 degrees celcius outside. Basically we hardly slept at all the last night, and no matter how clean a room is it doesn't make up for not being able to sleep.

• Joanne (10/5): Fabulous host - great location. - The location was perfect and Giorgio our host was fantastic and very helpful. Breakfast served by Giorgio on the balcony each morning was a fun and unexpected bonus. The room was nicely renovated and very clean.
• Andy (10/5): Feel at home in the Quiet Rooms. - Georgio really cares and gives a personal touch. He has a lot of pride in his building and in Monterosso. It was so nice to get to know him. He recommended things to do and how to do them. We really felt at home. The village is tight knit. Definitely a positive contrast from the cities. The building we were in was situated close to all the happenings for the lemon festival and anything else you want to do. We ate very well, enjoyed the local lemon competitors, did a hike, waded in the sea, explored the town and church on the hill. We didn't have enough time. The steps to the room were steep and many but that's just the way old buildings are.
• Jennifer (10/5): Perfect choice for a stay in Monterosso. - Giorgio was an amazing host, serving us breakfast every morning, and giving us tons of helpful advice and suggestions. Thanks to his advice, we went to Portofino for a day, hired bikes and did the cycle from Levanto to Framura, which we wouldn’t have known about without Georgio. The location is perfect, in the heart of the old town, but so quiet. The washing line outside the window, and pegs provided were really helpful. Georgio also offered us beach towels, which were great for our swims. Thanks Georgia. We had a great time in beautiful Monterosso. We would have loved a kettle - perhaps in the communal space, to make a cup of tea.
• Chircop (9/5): Superb - We had a great stay! Giorgio was very welcoming, helpful, and extremely knowledgeable about Cinque Terre, offering great tips for exploring the area. The apartment is comfortable and modern, equipped with all the essentials we needed. It’s also just a few minutes walk from the train station, which made getting the around the cinque terre area really convenient. Breakfast and cleaning service were superb—truly a standout! The only downside was that the air conditioning was set to fan mode only, which made warmer nights a bit uncomfortable. Otherwise, everything was excellent.

He explained all we needed to know, even gave us train and ferry timetables. He personally served us breakfast on the balcony which was delicious.

• Joan (10/5): Great place. - Two things make a trip fulfilling, the location and the people. Marianna’s had both in spades. The town is charming, but Georgio the owner made it a 10 star. He is so passionate about his home town and wants you to enjoy your stay that it’s like staying with a friend. He told us the “must see” things, how to work around all the tourists and navigate the 5 towns, and being a foodie, recommended the BEST places to eat. He really made the trip! And yes there are a lot of steps, but Georgio is adamant that he’ll carry your bags up & down and make sure it’s your best stay ever! Highly recommend. Not a thing.

He told us the history of the town and gave us suggestions on where to eat and what to do! What ever we needed all we had to do was ask Giorgio, he was always available. The stairs are a nightmare but Giorgio was kind enough to take our suitcases up the stairs for us

A delicious breakfast was provided each morning. The area was walkable with many exceptional restaurants and bars. The area itself is spectacular. The room and bed very comfortable. The pillows were quite flat.
• Cheyeza (9/5): Exceeded expectations. - We had very little expectations but this place is great. The rooms are cleaned and serviced everyday. It felt like a hotel. The host Giorgio is attentive and willing to help. Its a very cosy space but its not crowded or doesnt feel like there are people in the next room. The location is also very quiet. I highly recommend. Nothing
