Guest Reviews
- Thyra (5/5): Ok room, but definitely not cozy. - On the good side the shower works good and the bathroom was clean. The bed was comfortable.
Fairly close to the city center, so you can take a 40 min walk or 20 minutes public transport. On the negative side, very noisy neighbours specially the dog upstairs which kept us awake the first night. Also plenty of noises coming out of the bathroom drain and the fridge. Washing machine not only did not work but was full of very smelly dirty water.
You can notice a lack of attention to details actually managed to make the stay not so pleasant. The room was not very clean, moved a lamp and literally an amount equivale to a cup of dirt fell out of it.
It is on a ground floor with a window facing the inner courtyard so as soon as the window was opened, the privacy was lost as you would always have men hanging there. Also the buildings trash cans are placed right under the window, so smell starts finding its way into the room.
Coffee machine was available but the coffee pods provided did not fit to it, we eventually found out that the correct ones, as well as extra toiletries were in a drawer under the bed, which was never communicated. This together with the existence of only one wine glass shows the lack of attention we mentioned before.
Weird situation around the city tax, as the host contacted us outside booking to request a money transfer to a private account in order to provide the access indications. This is apparently common practice for them, but curiously enough the money was returned to us after the situation with the dog was brought up. So apparently not as relevant or urgent as he made it look like at the beginning.
Finally, replies from the host became more scarce once we transferred the money for the city tax and arrived in the city.
- Eda (10/5): Exceptional -
- Betul (8/5): Nice - location was good. You can reach Duomo square with a single tram. The landlord had thought of everything. The surroundings of the house are very beautiful. There are nice pizzeria and markets. There is a huge park in front of the house. It is a bit disturbing that there are no curtains other than the blinds. It was disturbing because it was on the ground floor.
