I would like to list my experience for you to understand where your business is heading to -
Check-in was impressively quick — probably because they knew we’d need all the extra time to process the disaster that awaited us. Our luggage, however, seemed to be on its own solo trek and took ages to catch up.
We were escorted to what they proudly call bunkers — but let’s call them what they really are: portal cabins posing as luxury rooms, complete with bathrooms perfectly sized for action figures.
Inside? Oh, just dust, dirt, cockroaches, non-working geysers, dead electrical points, no running water, no glasses — but hey, at least the insects were having a great time.
It’s almost like they deliberately removed every basic amenity just to make it exciting.
The photos on booking.com? Works of art. Probably sourced from some five-star property on another continent. What we got was a masterclass in deception.
When we raised our concerns (and by concerns, I mean a desperate plea for survival), they graciously offered us a midnight relocation at 12:30 AM to mud houses that clearly hadn’t met a mop in their entire existence. The upgrade was from filthy to just differently filthy.
The breakfast room? Oh, it’s not just a dining hall — it’s a fully operational fly sanctuary. The flies were so comfortable, I’m pretty sure they had permanent residency.
The staff was truly exceptional — exceptionally untrained, exceptionally indifferent, and exceptionally skilled at looking away. Asking for help was like asking Siri to find logic in this hotel’s promises — pointless.
If it weren’t for the mountains (thank you, nature, you’re the real MVP), this place would be emptier than the promises on their website.
In Summary:
✔️ Luxury? Nah.
✔️ Comfort? Nope.
✔️ Cleanliness? Dream on.
✔️ Value? For the cockroaches, yes.
Would I recommend?
- Anonymous (1/5): Bad - Completely opposite to what you see in the pictures. Poorly managed and lacks basic hygiene. Not at all worth the money they are charging
- Nishant (10/5): Exceptional - Loved the location and everything
- Anonymous (1/5): Bad -
- Varuninindia (10/5): Exceptional - The location 10/10, Definitely worth getting a bit ahead from kaza.
The Staff was the fastest and prompt - to listen to our needs and requirements, at an altitude of almost 12,000 ft, they were swift
- Katia (10/5): Best ever in the mountain - View from the property and food what they serve Nothing all gud
- Sahil (10/5): Exceptional -
