Claire (9/5): Escape and recharge - What we liked - the location near huge empty beaches, retention of old-style cottage feel while also being clean and well-equipped, good wifi, friendly hosts, comfortable beds, loads of books and games. This is a perfect house if you want to get away from it all and walk for miles in the wild and feel the wind in your hair and have a refreshing cold dip in the clearest water you've ever seen. Then, refreshed, enjoy seafood and Guinness in Clifden! A small complaint - sofa in living room is not at all comfortable. But everything else was good.

Nicola (10/5): November 2023 - Flaherty cottage was amazing, great location for exploring connemara, the perfect setting and dog friendly, only few minutes walk to white sandy beaches of mannin bay. The place was spotless and had everything we could possibly need, had lovely cosy stove for the November evenings.Great host who checked in regularly and gave great detailed recommendations. We will be definitely back again soon.
