- Debbie (10/5): Great value for money - Parking outside, the room and bathroom were really big. Loads of sockets by the bed. Lovely shower, lovely size smart TV with Netflix etc. loads of biscuits to go with tea and coffee. Was such a lovely place to stay and the proprietor Brane was very hospitable. We will most certainly be back.
- Manju (3/5): Very uncomfortable wouldn’t book it again or recommend anyone either - Not much Hard to find parking and it was vey hot day there was not even a single fan or no one was there to receive us a lady worked at the bar told us to go upstairs not even which room was ours then she came up and told us to call the owner if we need anything and left us to it
Shower was useless

- Sundeep (3/5): Could be nicer if some emphasis on basic facilities like hot water and decent shower, especially for family stays - New Decorated Cold water and poor pressure in the bathroom
- Dinesh (6/5): Makes….sure n future u satisfy the guests…..please - Only the room is satisfied…..I liked it😊👍🏻 The…shower was not working properly
Too slow….we could not take shower..as the water is too low…means less water

- Kimber (8/5): Kings arms - Very big room, clean and tidy.excellent staff There was no breakfast

- Kristina (7/5): - It was clean and cozy. The room was spacious. There was no access to Internet, except for the free wifi from the council.
- Gaurav Nimish (10/5): - Clean, comfortable and good room to stay.
- Dipika (8/5): - The staff were really nice. They were suggesting to us where the beautiful places are to visit during our stay there. The view from the room was amazing.
- EjH (7/5): Felt expensive for what you received - No major issues with The Kings Arms, but compared to the facilities that we had just left it seemed a lot more expensive in comparison. No breakfast offered when the previous place included a cooked breakfast for considerably less money. We were aware of this though & as it was a 1 night last minute booking, we returned to local family for breakfast.
- Stephanie (7/5): A basic sray, spacious not luxurious. - The room was far more spacious than expected, ample space to enjoy inside and a completely unexpected, private area outside which was relatively quiet and had beautiful scenic views, a comfortable 3 seater sofa as well as arm chair available too. Bathroom was also spacious, althoughbasic everything worked as it should. The room was clean and relatively recently updated (compared with the communal areas hallway/stairwell - decor, cleanliness and odour). Parking was free on the street, however not between 9-5 pm. Tea and coffee facilities available in the room, fully stocked. The initial check in was bizarre, bar man was not expecting me and whilst on the phone trying to speak to someone about the booking, patrons in the pub passed odd/rude comments about the booking.
The communal area needs upgrading, carpet needs replacing and a freshen up /air freshener would help. Although not the fault of booking, it should be known that there is no phone signal in the area (I had none while in the building) and the WiFi is very weak - this also impacted using the full function of the tv.
- Nirja (8/5): Very good -
- Purva (10/5): An unforgettable stay where every moment felt like luxury, warmth, and true hospitality rolled into one perfect experien - If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I absolutely would. Last night’s stay at this hotel was hands down the best hotel experience I’ve ever had — and I don’t say that lightly.
From the moment we arrived, everything felt effortlessly perfect. The staff greeted us with such genuine warmth that it felt less like checking into a hotel and more like being welcomed home. Every detail, from the scent in the lobby to the subtle background music, created a calming, luxurious ambiance.
Our room? Immaculate. Spacious, beautifully designed, with thoughtful touches that made a big difference — plush bedding that felt like sleeping on a cloud, perfectly dimmable lighting, spotlessly clean bathrooms, and even a handwritten welcome note that made us feel like VIP guests. And the view… breathtaking.
Breakfast was a dream — a spread that was both indulgent and fresh, with options for every kind of guest. Every bite tasted like it had been crafted with care.
But above all, what made this stay truly unforgettable was the hospitality. The staff went above and beyond in the most natural way, making us feel seen, cared for, and completely relaxed.
I’ve stayed in hotels all around the world, but this one has officially set a new gold standard. I’m already looking for reasons to return. To the entire team: thank you for an experience I’ll cherish forever.

- Carl (9/5): Superb -
- Aditya (7/5): Good -
- Richard (10/5): Exceptional -
- Zoe (8/5): Very good - Friendly accomodating staff, who greeted us warmly and helped us store some milk for our toddler too! The room was very clean, comfy and spacious for my husband, daughter and I to stay in. Right in the middle of town, beautiful setting. Parking was a little pesky as we had to move the car around to keep in line with the parking time limits but not much of a problem. Everything else was lovely.
- Robert (8/5): Very good - Good location, good beer No food, but put just around the cornercdoes
- David (10/5): Exceptional - room was huge and clean i would definitely come back
- Julie (7/5): Good - Quiet, comfortable, friendly hostess, clean, spacious, and good location. It was all good but expensive for just accommodation, no breakfast. My sister and brother in law stayed in accommodation in Llandysul that same weekend and paid similar costs with breakfast included. It was expensive considering breakfast was not included

- Gemma (10/5): Exceptional - Loved everything so clean, very friendly bed are so comfortable Didn't have a microwave other than that brilliant definitely will be staying there again
- Geraint (9/5): Superb -
- Don (10/5): Simple, comfy and enjoyable. - Although we couldn't check in when agreed we were upgraded to a 2 bedroom cottage which was lovely, clean, warm and comfy. Host and hostess we very friendly. They also allowed us to bring food from outside into the bar. Nothing really. It's a very small establishment and the bar is simple. No breakfast but we didn't want any as we left early.
- Manoharan (10/5): Great expereince! - The Kings Arms Owner was very friendly and kind. We were provided two separate rooms to accomodate my family of four instead of an additional bed at the same cost. Great experience! Not applicable.
- Kirsten (8/5): The decor etc is a little dated, and could do with upgrading, but it is perfectly adequate for a comfortable stay. - Really friendly. Good central location to a wedding we were attending and the rest of the town. Room was basic but clean. We struggled to park initially (not hotels fault) but later we could move our car.
- Dviejra (8/5): Very good -
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional - After I was shown the room I did not see anyone again! Not that I needed to...
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional - I would recommend this establishment.
- Jeanette (9/5): My balcony View - lovely room and for the first time ever I had a balcony in Wales, small things makes a big difference, I loved it. It was spotlessly clean and for once there were plenty of coffee and milk. The lady working there was really lovely. She went above and beyond in helping me by taking my case up the stairs for me. I couldn't find where to go to book in so wandered through the nearest door and into a little bar. The lady yhere was exceptional but didn't know I was arriving and had to ring her manager to check what room I would be in. I was concerned that once stop tap came I may have been the only person in the building but as it happened I needed to leave and come home so I never found that bit out. The only other downside was yhe noise of the pipes everytime the flush was used or tap turned on, it did quiet quickly though.
- Wendy (7/5): Nice room - Quiet overnight. Comfy beds. Large bathroom. When I booked, I had assumed the bar served food. I probably wouldn't have booked if I'd realised it didn't.
- Mike (8/5): Very good -
- Muthukumar (6/5): Pleasant -
- Sakthivel (8/5): Very good -
- Hayman (10/5): Exceptional - The building itself was attractive and well maintained. The room was lovely, very well done out, and the beds were very comfortable. I was travelling with my mother, and it was great to have 2 beds. The bathroom was of a great size and also well done. There were lots of things in the room that were not expected; a hair dryer, an iron, ironing board, etc.
There were lots of plugs around the room, big windows, and lots of light but decent curtains to help with a good night's sleep. There was a heater in the room as well as central heating, for cold nights. Everything was thought of.
Lots of nice furniture, side tables, lamps, and a wardrobe, etc. so plenty of space to unpack your items. It felt like a studio apartment almost rather than a hotel which was fab, a home from home. Lovely lighting and a TV to help unwind after a long day.
The owner came to let us in before the pub opened and gave us what we needed.
We then went downstairs to the pub and sat with the owner and some of the locals. He/they were very friendly and chatty, which opened up nice conversations. There was no food served in the pub itself, but we were given plates and cutlery to be able to get a local Chinese takeaway and eat downstairs/out in the garden, which was fab! The bar tender was also very lovely and matched our banter.
There was a small decked area out the back of the building, which had lovely views over the village and the green hills. It was a nice setting for a drink and a chat. There was also a larger beer garden area below, which was well maintained and also a lovely spot. We were really lucky with the weather for the evening as well, so we could soak in the nice views.
We will definitely return to this accommodation and recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Although there's not tonnes of things to do in Llandysul, it's a very good base for local things if you have a car. And it's a nice quiet place to stay to rest after a long day! Love it. N/A
- Thapa (5/5): Passable - Room was spacious and comfortable, friendly staff and they waited for us to give the keys Hotel needs a bit of refurbishment .. otherwise all good
- Jamie (7/5): Suited us to stay in area, accommodation fine - Convenient, clean
- Peter (8/5): Brilliant place to stay, clean tidy and staff very friendly - Didnt have a breakfast Breakfast would of been nice
- Steven (9/5): A lovely comfortable hotel with friendly staff. - The rooms were very clean and tidy and the beds really comfy. The staff were very friendly as were the locals. No food was available but we were allowed to bring in food from elsewhere and consume it on the premises.
We would definitely return.
- Robert (8/5): Very good -
- Barson (9/5): Superb - Excellent room staff very friendly
- Seren (10/5): Exceptional -
- Julie (9/5): Superb -
- Sally (10/5): Exceptional - Spotlessly clean, lovely large room, bed really comfy! Would recommend!
- Andrew (10/5): Lovely owner and staff who went out of their way to be super helpful to us four dirty motorcyclists!! Thanks so much - Location and warm welcome - great facilities
- Mark (10/5): A comfortable & enjoyable stay at a friendly little pub in Wales - The Kings Arms is in the heart of Llandysul - which surely must be the friendliest village in Wales. I was welcomed by the staff & the landlord, who were very soon friends. It's a breath of fresh air compared to most places I stay where nobody wants to know You. The surrounding countryside is picturesque & very quiet, though teeming with wildlife. Expect to be woken up by a busy dawn chorus. There are many walks around the village, all affording good views.
Staying in Llandysul - especially at the Kings Arms - will restore Your faith in human nature. Somehow it gets into Your soul. I definitely intend to stay again! Not a complaint at all, but for information, no food is available on site. Right next door however there is a Chinese takeaway & within a few yards walk there is a Pizza/Kebab shop (recommend the chicken shish kebab & salad which is tasty, freshly cooked & not at all greasy), an Indian takaway, a Spar mini-market or a slightly longer walk, the Nisa supermarket. Embrace it! You won't go hungry!
- Sravan (9/5): Superb -
- Richard (10/5): Exceptional -
- Angela (7/5): Short stay. Made welcome. Comfortable bed. - Last minute trip. Accommodation clean and comfortable. Great for what we needed. Thanks All good.
- Julie (9/5): Superb -
- Battenm (10/5): Exceptional - Staff were very friendly. Great location to explore the area. Comfortable and clean room. Nothing. It was exactly what we wanted.
- Lee (9/5): Quite, clean and relaxing place to stay with a lovely small bar downstairs. - The beds were very comfortable and the room was very clean. We had a large room with a double and single bed as was attending a local canoe race with my son. It was quiet and relxing. Would have been nice to have breakfast available for the fee. There are a few cafes nearby so was not a problem but would be better to have a slightly lower price if no breakfast available.e
- Stephen (7/5): Good -
- Himanshu (9/5): Great place, great facilities and great staff! All the ingredients to a happy stay! - The staff were excellent Nothing
- Garry (10/5): Nice friendly staff and good local customers that made me feel very welcome - Very nice and spacious
- Richard (10/5): I'd stay here again if I visit the area. - The room and bed were just what I needed after a long flight from America. I was greeted warmly by staff. I enjoyed the "pub" downstaris where I met with several of the local residents and chatted for quite a while. I really appreciated the absolute quiet in my room when I woke up a couple of times during the night. I forgot to ask about the use of the tankless water heater in the bathroom, as well as how to raise the drain in the sink after I shaved! Maybe a short note left in the room or bathroom explaining the use of both would be helpful for foreign visitors.
- Chris (10/5): Exceptional - Very clean premises.
- Sayani (6/5): Pleasant - The room was good and an excellent deal with this price range The house front door and room lock were not working. This felt unsafe during the night. We checked all rooms in that house and locks for none of them were working.
- Kerry (8/5): Very good. - The room was very good for what it was, a pub hotel in a small country town. The room was warm and spacious. The beds were comfy, and there was a nice big bathroom. The staff are friendly and flexible. We really appreciated the late checkout. Thanks!
- Anuja (8/5): Excellent - Cleanliness Need facility for breakfast
- Clare (7/5): Large family room for a comfortable stay - Great sized and comfortable family room. Nice staff, too. The pub doesn't serve food, but there are places within a short walk for breakfast and dinner. You can bring takeaway back to the room. Would have preferred paking on site, but the local car park was only a short walk away and free to park at.
- Anil (9/5): Superb -
- Frank (8/5): Good quality and good value. - Great position. Large, comfortable rooms.
- Charlotte (10/5): Stay at Llandysul - King's Arms kept you up to date with emails and texts on everything. Host was welcoming, friendly and helpful. Room was amazing! Clean , comfortable beds and very spacious. Lovely extras in room with towels, range of tea coffee and biscuits and shampoo etc in bathroom. Easy access to place with touch key fob for outside if door was shut and key to room. Easy walking distance into Llandysul itself with range of takeaway places close by. Not being able to thank the host in the morning. Felt awful just posting key back though door! No bad points at all!
- Santiago (10/5): Exceptional - Well located to visit surrounding areas, quiet place, very comfortable and very good people. Great! Everything was ok
- Paul (9/5): Lovely quiet location for a good nights sleep - Lovely quiet location. Bed was very comfortable & scenario beautiful. Nothing really
- David (7/5): Convieniant, clean and comfortable but have a torch for when you return. - Check in was simple enough and shown to our room. Looks like ther are 3 rooms normally available but unsure as there was no number on the doors, just left, centre and right. Our room (right) looked like it had recently been refurbished and 2 rooms had been knocked into 1. It was clean and comfortable. Returned at 23:15 and the place was locked up and pitch black inside. No light in the foyer or motion sensor light. Had to use the light on my phone to make my way to the stairs and up to the room. Went to leave at 10:15 the following morning but not a single person around to take the room off from us, or ask any questions about our stay. No breakfast available, had breakfast in Buon Appetito cafe down the road
- Venu (9/5): Superb - The staff was very helpful and room was very clean and comfortable. I would recommend this. None.
- Suchita (10/5): Good - Cost and clean No one in the night, in case you need anything
- Anil (8/5): Cosy stay : ) highly recommended - Nice cosy room, nice and clean bathroom and nearby shops and food places. They even had a fan in the room, which was amazing to see. Overall, we were happy and the stay was comfortable, highly recommended. Smelly water from wash basin tap. I informed them about this, so I hope they got this sorted. Also they had macerator pump in bathroom which made a lot of noise (when in use). If it was not for this, I would have given 9 or even 10.
- David (7/5): Good - No breakfast - not included - no problem Obviously better with a restaurant, but this wasn't advertised and we didn't expect one.
