• xavier (7/5): Un logement atypique à deux pas du cœur historique de la ville - La situation très centrale de l’établissement, le nombre de couchages ( confortable et propre ) La réactivité et la souplesse du propriétaire. Le manque d’entretien manifesté , la présence d’objets cassés comme une chaise , la TV elle aussi cassée d’une caisse de bouteilles vides etc…. L’équipement de la cuisine est plutôt minimaliste avec une vaisselle dépareillée, un vieux frigo sans congélateur et un petit micro-ondes . Pas de four ni de lave vaisselles sachant qu’il n’y a pas d’eau chaude dans la cuisine. Comme il s’agit d’un ancien commerce la vitrine mériterait d’être également nettoyée de temps en temps même si je suis conscient que la rue très passante ne facilite pas cette action. Attention il y a quatre escaliers excrément raides ! Nous le savions mais c’est juste pour prévenir les futurs voyageurs.
• Freddy (6/5): Redelijk goed en met wat verbeteringen heel goed te maken. - Fantastisch gelegen in het historisch centrum. Uitstekende bedden. Prima badkamer. Geen WiFi. Geen heet water in de keuken. Rioollucht in de keuken. Smoezelige keuken. Raam in een van de slaapkamers kon niet open en was dichtgeschroefd.

• Christopher (4/5): Great location, quality fine for a couple of nights - not really suitable for young families - The location of this property is ideal - just two blocks from the Grande Place and walkable to most of the centre of Brussels. The property is quirky, almost certainly previously a shop and possibly an old merchants house. The stairs (three staircases) were steep, but we expected this thanks to the accurate description. The communication was great and were offered to leave our luggage in the launderette for safe keeping if we needed to. Property was fine for two nights, but I would have been disappointed if I had booked to stay for longer or if I was staying with family. There are three toilets - but only one had a sink. The main bathroom (with shower), had no door lock. The toilets were stained. Skirting boards were hanging off. Paintwork chipped and looking old. The kitchen was in a damp cellar, any cooking in there would have made the kitchen even more damp. PROPERTY NOT SUITABLE FOR THE ELDERLY, THE INFIRM OR THOSE WITH SMALL CHILDREN.

• James (10/5): The uniqueness of the house just meshed great with our adventurous trip. - What a wild property! We spent 20 minutes just in wonder at the unique features of the house. So much packed into such a little space. Great location in city center. Stairs a little sketchy, especially with luggage. But we knew that going in.

• Christopher (10/5): Amazing stay. Cannot wait to return. - Fantastic location!!!! Couldn’t have been better. Property is clean, spacious and sleeps everyone very comfortably. As described, the stairs are steep, so be sure you’re able-bodied or you will struggle.

L'unico bagno della casa non aveva neanche una chiusura e , essendo un gruppo di amici ,questo ha creato molto disagio . Le scale sapevamo già che fossero molto ripide e strette, ma erano veramente difficili da praticare

• Lorinda (6/5): It is a good location. Not practical for cooking. Not practical if you are even slightly unstable on your feet. - It is a great location It really needs maintenance. The bathroom needs a upgrade. The kitchen is not really usable for cooking. The hot water in the kitchen did not work. There is a moldy smell in the cellar/kitchen. The bathroom also has a strange smell. The train and street is noisy. The stairs are dangerously steep and uneven.

Clear instructions, setting fair expectations (like the stairs that are steep and plenty), and prompt communication with the host. It was an absolitely pleasant stay, thank you so much! The shower head was attached to the wall. However, it was still convenient to use it.

• Sarah (10/5): quirky historic property in fantastic location in the heart of the city - fantastic location in the heart of the City stunning quirky historic building lots of great cafes and restaurants on the doorstep the stairs are steep, but we were warned of this by other traveller reviews. Worth it to stay in such a quirky property

• Chloe (8/5): Interesting, industrial property over 5 floors, would definitely recommend for groups visiting Bruss - Great place to stay right in the center of Brussels. Really cool building, where you enter a storefront off the High Street to find this is your home. Really interesting property over 5 floors. Great for our group of friends / colleagues when visiting Brussels. Hosts were great and were very helpful allowing us to have a later checkout. Very easy to check in or out at any time, with a personal code you receive which becomes active at your checkin/out time. Everything went smoothly. There is only one bathroom which has a toilet, sink and shower, so need to use some logistics when organising who showers when. There is one toilet without a sink, next to the main bathroom. There is one toilet without a sink in the basement kitchenette, but can use the kitchen sink to wash your hands. Worked fine for us though! Also, some maintainance was required on the taps in the basement, but everything was functional. Similarly we had an issue with the shower occasionally leaking a small amount through the floor during our stay, but the host is aware of this now and seems like they'll fix it. Would still definitely recommend staying here!
