• Raoul (7/5): Hotel is leuk, omgeving minder. - Het hotel zelf is een oase van rust in een ruige omgeving. De sfeer is relaxt, het ontbijt is prima en het personeel is zeer vriendelijk. De buurt was in onderhoud en onguur. Het was ver weg van de mooiere stranden van Santa Marta en het zwembad was niet prettig.

• Ximena (8/5): Celebración 50 años - la cercanía a las playas y el servicio, las personas son muy amables, la pisicina tiene popo de paloma, por lo que está en la terraza al aire libre y hay muchas palomas en la zona.

Taras na dachu z małym basenem to coś cudownego. Wspaniały zachód słońca. Blisko do plaży, lokalnego targu, sklepów, centrum. Lokalizacja bardzo dobra. Na lotnisko ok. 30 minut. W cenie śniadanie ale nie wiem czy dobre, bo wyjeżdżaliśmy o 5 rano na lotnisko. Blisko do autobusu do Parku Tyrona. Ok. 15 minut pieszo.

• Joanne (9/5): Great comfy room in a fab property in a great location! - Great room in a lovely property in walking distance from the main promenade. Team were lovely, breakfast was tasty & the bed was super comfy. We felt very safe & we’re just a few mins walk from Parque de los Novios and all the amazing graffiti streets & restaurants. Highly recommended. Nothing. While Santa Marta can feel a bit edgy when you first arrive, it really grew on me the time we were there. People are super friendly & the sunsets are some of the best we saw in Colombia!

• Luis (1/5): Misleading listing and frustrating stay - not suitable for remote work as advertised. - Decent location. Price is not particularly high. We booked Mucho Sur specifically for its advertised coworking setup and WiFi, but there was no working WiFi during our entire stay. On top of that, there is virtually no mobile reception inside the hotel, so working was impossible. At check-in we were told the issue would be fixed the next day, but it wasn’t. When we followed up, staff showed little interest in resolving the problem — no apology, no solution, no compensation. The rooftop area, which is heavily advertised, was a major disappointment. The pool was dirty and not properly maintained, with pigeon feathers and droppings around, and the bar was closed. The space felt neglected and unusable. Our balcony also did not have the hammock shown in the pictures. Breakfast was very basic, and the hotel itself was almost empty. Overall, the experience did not match what is advertised, especially if you are relying on WiFi or the rooftop facilities.

L’hôtel était très bien équipé (manque peut-être un petit frigo dans les chambres pour l’eau fraîche), service parfait. Emplacement près de la mer mais dommage pour le quartier très sale.

• Alex (10/5): Mucho Sur Ok. - Es un hotel muy limpio. Con muy buenos empleados. Muy cerca al centro historico y a la costanera. La calle 12 no se ve bien. Pero al ingresar al hotel, el cambio es total. Muy buenas instalaciones.

El desayuno estaba rico y variado. Hay aire acondicionado y se agradece mucho. La zona no es muy buena, a pesar de que está bien ubicado en el centro de santa marta y cerca de la playa.

• youcef (7/5): Bien, Sans plus - Hotel sympa, a cote du quartier historique et de la plage. Piscine sympa sur le toit. Le menage n’est pas fait tous les jours, du coup on se retrouve parfois avec du sable au sol sans possibilité de le nettoyer. Pas de frigo pour garder des choses au frais. Aussi l’eau des bouteilles en verre remplis par le staff sont payantes et on m’a pas donné cette information au check in.

• Aizaro (9/5): Un lugar super acogedor y bien ubicado para ver el casco histórico y coger el autobús para Tayrona. - La atención del personal, genial. Echamos en falta una pequeña nevera en la habitación pero estuvo genial que el día anterior a ir al Tayrona nos guardaron agua en la nevera del hotel. Las almohadas nos parecieron muy finas.
• Leah (8/5): Great Staff - Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. I free carafe of water and candy at checkin. Room was spacious and clean. Walkable from downtown. Options for breakfast were nice. Had to buzz in from street entrance and a staff member opens the door, it is a bit of a rough part of town and one time I was getting a bit worried with the other people outside watching me unable to get in for 3 or 3 minutes. We were going to cool off in the small roof top pool but there were a dozen pigeon relaxing on the edge, and as a result the pool wasn't the cleanest with feces and feathers. Only one fitted sheet and one flat sheet for blankets on the bed.

• Agnese (9/5): Stupenda struttura prossima al cuore di Santa Marta - Splendida struttura giusto all'estremità del centro storico di Santa Marta. Scelte di design e arredamento molto piacevoli e bel tocco la piscina. Staff gentilissimo ed esperienza ottima in generale. Capisco non ci sia molto da fare per evitarlo, ma i piccioni che affollano i bordi della piscina non la rendono super invitante.

• Christian David (10/5): La comodidad a un paso del mar - Los espacios, la atención y el recibimiento desde el primer momento La ubicación debido a que el acceso se debe dar directamente desde la bahía y no por el centro, sin embargo tampoco es responsabilidad de ellos, espero que se mejore la seguridad del sector
• Samara (4/5): Bem localizado e simples - a localização é realmente um ponto muito positivo. Ele fica em uma área bem central da cidade e muito próximo da praia, o que facilita bastante para se locomover e aproveitar a região. Também gostei da piscina e do terraço, que são espaços agradáveis para relaxar durante a estadia. Por outro lado, achei que o quarto é bastante simples e, pelo preço pago, não senti que o custo-benefício valeu muito a pena. A acomodação em geral é bem básica. Um ponto negativo foi o barulho à noite. Durante toda a madrugada eu conseguia ouvir música muito alta, o que acabou atrapalhando bastante o descanso. Também fiquei muito chateada com uma situação envolvendo a lavanderia. Paguei para enviar algumas roupas para lavar e algumas peças voltaram danificadas. Sei que a lavanderia é terceirizada e que isso não é necessariamente culpa direta do hotel, mas foi algo que nunca tinha acontecido comigo antes. Infelizmente eram roupas de que eu gostava muito, então acabei tendo um prejuízo e fiquei bem decepcionada com essa experiência.

Reason to visit again would be safety. - - postivie aspects regarding personal safety measures and honesty of staff. - central location - most of the receptionists and staff in the breakfast area were hospitable and nice. - lack of mosquito net that caused a gread disconfort. I prefer to sleep with windows open instead of AC in places with high humidity that promotes formation of mold. - aspects regarding rigid protocols of check in/check out and use of AI on the main contact number of the hotel. If i would like interaction with robots, I would chose an Airbnb. Management often confuse use of AI with modernism. In reality it's just cost-efficiency (poor treatment). - poor breakfast.

Que no tuviera nevera la habitación o una de uso compartido

• Adrian (8/5): - Dachterrasse, freundliche Mitarbeiter Ihre Wasserpolitik zur Vermeidung von Plastik find ich super (man kann Re-Fill an der Reception machen), leider sind die Mitarbeiter nicht so richtig geschult oder das Wasser war nicht ready, was oft für Verwirrung sorgte. Ich benötigte sicher 2 Liter pro Tag, was das Hotel bisschen überforderte.

• Sacruzv (10/5): Gran lugar! A pocos pasos de la bahía. - Personal 10/10, buen desayuno y con varias alternativas, bien ubicado, arquitectura hermosa. No fue problema para nosotros, el acceso es con escaleras y no tiene ascensor.
