- Cora (8/5): Comfortable Clean Getaway close to all you would need. - The owner of this property, Thais, is exceptional to deal with, answering all questions and concerns quickly. There was a bottle of wine, bubbly's, water, chips and other snacks to enjoy. Condiments, laundry detergent for the washer/dryer, shampoo/conditioner and body wash were all provided. The property is wonderful and we enjoyed our morning stroll along the nearby beachfront to the local cafe, Wayne and Freda, which Thais kindly gifted us a card to in order to enjoy their coffee after realizing that little coffee had been left by the cleaner staff. We used the BBQ and enjoyed the outdoor table and chairs. We found T-Bones in the nearby shopping center and highly recommend them for their organically raised meat, desserts and salads.We were offered an early check in and, when we asked, granted a later checkout time. Tranquil House and the surroundings, including shopping, canal float, cafe and the nearby walk along the Okanagon Beach all added to the enjoyment of our stay. The backyard was a little unkempt and had dry dirt where the outdoor furniture was placed near the lawn edged area. It looked like they are currently working to clean it up a little more and hopefully plant some nice shrubs and flowers to add to the ambiance of the backyard. The driveway smelled distinctly of cat urine, not the fault of the owners of the property but there was, what appeared to be,a stray cat around that frequented the yard that may have been spraying along the side of the house. Both these things were minor things as the property exceeded our expectations in many other ways.
