Guest Reviews
- Joseph (9/5): We had a wonderful stay, and the host was amazing - We had a wonderful stay at the townhouse. It was very comfortable, clean, and the location was perfect. My mom and I really enjoyed being able to walk to nearby restaurants and explore the area easily. The host was amazing and stayed in great communication with us throughout our stay. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

- teixeira (10/5): incredible - The place is amazing. The garden is incredible, everything is perfect. I didn't find any flaws in anything, there's no room for error in the house, and the space is perfect. The owner is perfect too. She is very attentive, and the location of the house is also very good, two minutes from the station, everything is perfect. It's also close to the center, about 5 minutes from the center.
- teixeira (10/5): Wonderful place, 2 minutes from the train and bus station. - I loved the place, it was very good, I felt at home. The owner is kind and very attentive. He answers us all the time we contact him, and the house is perfect. The heating was okay for me, the bathroom water was all okay. It has an incredible backyard and for me everything was perfect. It's close to the shopping mall, 5 minutes away. You can get to the mall and easily get anywhere you need to shop, everything is close by. Incredible, I loved it very much, thank you.

- Pocock (8/5): - Nice to have a little house for extra space. The location couldn't be better. Great owners. It's an older home, but we'll cared for. Perfect for us. Nothing here.
- Jeneffer (10/5): Lovely! - Everything is good
- Christine (1/5): - The beds were hard. The house was cold until the middle of the night. The bathroom was not handicap accessible

- Céline (6/5): Centrale con ampi spazi - Buona posizione centrale con piacevoli spazi all'aperto. Stanze ampie e letti comodi.
- Pat (9/5): -
- Thomas Mooney (10/5): A 1 night midweek stay in Tír Na nÓg - I will definitely be returning.
- Daniel (4/5): Not value for money - although we enjoyed Ennis & surrounding area - Easy walking distance from town. We had a problem with a blocked toilet which the owner sorted very quickly - thank you. Unfortunately It’s a small damp house which is tired & need of renovation. Overgrown back garden.
- emmanuelle (8/5): Très bien - Les lits très confortables et la place. Tout était bien. Juste la table de la cuisine qui ne tenait pas bien, elle a les pieds mal vissés.

- Patricia (10/5): Nice place next to a barber shop - Niice location. Nice little garden area in the back. Friendly host. Walls are a bit thin. Other than that it had all that we needed.
- Lauren (10/5): Lovely stay near bus station - Lovely home, nicely decorated and comfortable. Easy walk to bus station and market. Liked the patio area. Everything was great.
- Fisla (6/5): Pleasant -
- Chris (10/5): Exceptional -
- Clodagh (8/5): Very good - Ideal location, Hosts were very helpful No bathroom door lock, issue with the lockbox for checking in at times and other times worked perfectly.
- Brian (5/5): Passable -
- Mark (10/5): Exceptional -
- Agnès (1/5): Avoid this accomodation - easy parking It looked perfect on the Booking announcement : reality was pretty different.
First, the bathroom is definitely far too small for a family of 5 ! Especially with the toilets in the bathroom and not separated. The flow (water pressure) was too weak : difficult when you want to wash your long hair ;) The bassin is too small too : the boys couldn't shave.
We have had difficulties to stop the smoke detector wich is very sensitive.
The 2 persons bed in the first room is noisy.
Our bed in the 2nd bedroom was very uncomfortable. I understood when i saw under the mattress 😱 There are two empty boxes attached with a piece of planking. The covering is torn and the mattress sinks into it: it's impossible to be stable and in a comfortable position.
This DIY project looks nothing like a lattice frame.
To me, the bed and the bathroom are the two key points in an accommodation : full fail on these two points !
Despite these huge problems, kitchen was OK, and car parking is easy in front of the door.
To summarize, avoid this accommodation !
- Jim (10/5): Exceptional - Great accommodating host. Very clean and easy walk into town.
- Sharon (9/5): Comfortable and very clean. - Very clean, quiet and comfortable. Great location, close to cafes, pubs and supermarkets. The address was correct google maps took us to the 4 Station Court. If the instructions included it is next to the Barbers it would clarify the situation. Or mention of the words over the door.
- Patricia (10/5): Stay at this adorable home. - I got an email explaining EXACTLY how to use the passkey, electrical, shower operation, tv, internet, etc. Everything we could possibly need to know. We got to park right outside the door. The location was great. There were shops/restaurants within walking distance to provide anything we needed. The house was adorable and clean. Dish and cookware were provided. Tea/coffee supplies were available as were a variety of small appliances. If I did have a question, the owner, Richard, was available via phone. He was always cheerful, even suggesting things to do and restaurants and pubs, even providing for a special request we needed. Ennis was an ideal base for touring the many attractions in County Clare , Ireland. This lovely little home and the helpfulness of the host were beyond my expectations. I'd definitely stay here again and suggest you do too! The only problem we had was caused by a slightly unclear address on the booking. com website. If you put in Ennis, Station Rd, Ennis, Ireland, two addresses are listed. Neither of them is correct. Luckily, both were nearby. The owner of the first house we stopped said that it happened all the time, and she even walked me over one street to the correct home. Just put 4 Station Rd, Ennis, Ireland into your GPS and the correct address is listed. No big deal at all, and now I've explained how to avoid it!
- Mike (6/5): Cosy , Compact & Close To Town. - The property is centrally located with a 5 minute walk to shops, pub’s & restaurants.
The townhouse was large enough to comfortably host 4 adults.
It was very good value for money for our one night stay.
The exterior photo was taken in the backyard when the flora was in full bloom.
Very good wifi & central heating. The cottage is a multiplex with the front door opening onto the footpath. This became a noise problem as one of the bedrooms is roadside. In particular when patrons walked home once the pubs closed.
Parking is on the road. This was a challenge when we checked in as there was no close parking. Parking became available after work hours.
The decor was like stepping back in time. The property was clean but dated.
The property would benefit with a bathroom room makeover.
- Sarah (6/5): loved Ireland and the cliffs of Moher were a highlight - A great location to walk into Ennis town The property is a little bit tired and could do with a furniture and carpet refresh
- Rosemary (8/5): Very good -
- Russell (9/5): Really enjoyed our stay in this house, comfy, cosy and superb location to get to Ennis town. - The location of the house was so close to the centre of Ennis. It was close to local supermarkets and area's of interest. The house itself was lovely, really liked the older feeling of the decor. It was comfy, cosy and well kitted out. The garden was also lovely, perfect to sit out for an evening drink. The ease of access to the house and availability of the host was also excellent. I had friends from Holland who really enjoyed the house and location. It is on a main roadway, not a main road but still cars passing at night could keep you awake if the windows are open. Otherwise, great little house to stay in.
- Martin (8/5): Lovely little place. Location good. Communication with the owner very clear - Garden. Clean host contact clear Perhaps beds a little hard. Shower difficult to adjust. No coffee
- Michael (7/5): Pretty good. - Clean. Full kitchen. The mattresses were all uncomfortable and we are not picky.
- Paulnrocks (9/5): Perfectly located town house apartment - 2 bedrooms rooms with beds and also a pull out sofa bed in the sitting room. Washing machine, coffee machine, big outdoor patio with chairs. TV and books in the house.
- Lindsay (10/5): Exceptional - Set up of the house was very comfortable with a lovely garden outside.
- Dooley (7/5): Good -
- Leila (10/5): Fantastic, quiet, cute house - The house was 5 minutes walk from the train & bus station.
The house was very clean & had all the mod cons.
The host gave clear instructions on getting the keys and using the facilities.
- Martin (8/5): Very good, comfortable stay. Great location - Great location, within easy walking distance of the town centre.
Bedrooms spacious and comfortable.
Everything you could have needed in teh kitchen
- Catherine (8/5): Great location - Great location and easy to walk into town, easy to park. Great size kitchen and bedrooms. We didn’t get instructions before checking, but a nice neighbour helped us to find the house. Host sent the message to explain everything back and forth in the evening, but could probably leave an instruction sheet to cover things like wifi, power for the shower, and heating. Shower was weak, there was no shower slip mat, the shower tray was very slippy so used a towel.
- Robyn (8/5): Ennis stay on a Whim - Easy to find. Parking outside front door. Close to town. Walking distance. Needs some TLC. Shower Door needs fixing.
- Kyla (10/5): Fantastic place to stay - Amazing little house, great location and facilities.
Easy to walk into town, easy to park at if you have a hire car. Great size kitchen and bedrooms. Very clean and tidy. Great place to stay. Just needed a few extra pillows on the beds- pillows were flat.
- Margaret (9/5): Superb - Location was fantastic and the house was charming and tidy. Nothing really
- Colm (9/5): Pleasant stay in heart of Ennis - Perfect for family stay. Very close to main street in Ennis. Host was welcoming. Place was clean and warm. Would recommend and would stay again
- Oleksii (9/5): Superb -
- Antonia (10/5): Exceptional - Great communication with the host. Great location with street parking in front. Very clean and cozy apartment.
- Paul (10/5): Had a great weekend and would use it again if in the Ennis area.. - It was ideal for my family to stay at. Great location and easily found .
- Rebecca (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alan (9/5): Lovely cottage near the heart of Ennis - The house is just a lovely country cottage with a beautiful back garden. It's a great base in less than 5 min walk to Ennis town centre and driving distance to places like Lahinch and Bunratty Castle. The host was lovely and very happy to share local knowledge. No issues with the property at all.
- Helen (9/5): Superb -
- Erika (10/5): Will definitely stay again - Absolutely fabulous, the owner was amazing got lost a few times and helped out with no hassle, very friendly and informative
- Sheridan (9/5): Superb -
- Minnock (9/5): House was lovely, very clean and location was very central, would definitely go back . - 2 of the beds very not very comfortable.
- Geraldine (10/5): Exceptional - Stayed hete with my daughter and two grandsons, we loved the location so close to everything, quaint little house absolutely loved the garden.
- Danny (10/5): Exceptional -
- Patricia (10/5): The cutest little apartment we have stayed in so far - Location, location, location
- Kara (8/5): Beautiful garden and close to town - Location and back garden were amazing. Cozy and clean house with plenty of space for four of us. Washer and dryer weren't yet hooked up when we stayed, but they were planning to hook them up soon - will be great once they're in. Host was able to explain everything with some messaging back and forth, but could probably leave an instruction sheet to cover things like wifi, power for the shower, and even door locks. Wifi seemed to connect, but wasn't strong, so I ended up using cell data instead.
- Mary (10/5): Exceptional - The cottage has everything you could need.
Lovely private garden, enchanting. With little apple tree and roses.
- John (7/5): Good -
- Dean (8/5): Very good - The location is great, a very short walk to the center of town. The owner was very communicative and wanted to make sure we had the heat on. He was kind and seemed a truly nice man. The bathroom door doesn't fully close. The latch plate for the old fashioned latch box has been ripped out of the wall.
The shower door are very hard to close and want to slide open a little leaving enough space water to spray through.
The mattress in the back bedroom is pretty awful. Lumpy and my wife and I rolled towards each other due to it sagging in the middle.
- Colm (10/5): Location is perfect for exploring Clare. - It's a fantastic location so close to the centre of town. Plenty of space and very comfortable. I have to say I was happy with everything in the house.
- Marie (10/5): had a lovely stay at this townhouse. so warm and comfy. will definitely return - it was so central. 5 mins to town centre there was just a small issue with the bathroom window not closing
- Paul (10/5): great stay and a great trip away in Ireland, Nollaig provided great advice and was always on hand for any advice that wa - the location was absolutely perfect for a short stroll into the local town for drinks/food.
- Foster (8/5): simple and quiet - close to everything the bed was lumpy and uncomfortable
- Mario (7/5): Close to town, fully equipped - It was close to town, the place was fully equipped for 5 persons, it had a very nice back garden and the owner was nice and friendly. Not much to say, just that the place was a bit old, for example the bathroom door could not be closed shut, one bed mattress was very worn/soft.
- Mariana (9/5): Superb -
- Kathleen (10/5): Beautiful house - Loved the back garden. I liked everything.
- Colm (9/5): Superb -
- David (5/5): Passable - The location was great! The couches and beds were not very comfortable.
