• Georgia (10/5): Can’t fault it! The place or the staff :) - Seriously fabulous in all areas! Staff were SO friendly. Super clean and they gave you a complimentary shower box with towels and toiletries etc. Not a single hair or piece of dust. 3 minutes walk from the station and a free breakfast too? Such a win would absolutely stay again. So cosy, homely and welcoming - thank you!

• Ziv (8/5): נחמד מאוד! - הבעלים לבבי ועוזר מאוד, נתן לי להשאיר את התיק שלי ללילה נוסף אחרי הצ׳ק אאוט בזמן שאני במסלול רכיבת האופניים. קיים אזור ישיבה מאובזר עם מקרר וציוד לאכול. המיקום קרוב מרחק הליכה לתחנת הרכבת וצמוד לסופר גדול מרגישים מעט את הקפיצים במיטה
• Léa (6/5): Not perfect if you want a good night of sleep but nice people ! - The employee or owner I don’t know was really nice ! The offered breakfast was good. It was very loud in the dormitory, you can hear everything happening in the kitchen and everywhere in the house. The bed are in metal so it is loud when somebody moves, and the mattress is not very comfortable (you can feel the metal stuff under your back). It is also a really bad idea to have metal locker in the dormitory because every time somebody opens the locker it wakes everybody up since it is really loud. I also had no light working in my bed so I had to use the light of my phone to read, not very easy. And the curtain was broken so I couldn’t really close it.

• Shishir (9/5): I would come back again for sure. - Staff were friendly and helpful. It’s in the best location possible. Very close to the JR station and also walkable to the famous onomichi‘s alleyways with cats. They give the required amenities and also curated breakfast with vegan options too. If I really have to be picky. I guess the toilets doesn’t match the typical toilet standards of Japan as there is no bidet but staying in Europe for a long time it doesn’t really bother me.

• NOZOMI (10/5): 最高です！ - みなさんとても優しくて温かい人でした。 無料の朝食も美味しかったです！ 飲み物もセルフで飲めるのが嬉しいです。 ベッドも過ごしやすく、充電器をさせるところが各ベッドにあるので便利でした。 駐車場も1日千円で貸して頂けるので、そのまま商店街へ食べ歩きに行くことができました。(徒歩10分) また尾道に来る際には泊まらせて頂きたいです。 特にないですが、2階のトイレの便座が冷たいです。 1階の女性専用トイレは便座が暖かかいので 女性の方は女性専用の部屋を借りることをお勧めします。
• Kim (10/5): - This was my 2nd time staying at Mochilero Onomichi. The hosts Percy and Carolina are very friendly and helpful. It's a great place to stay before embarking on the Shimanami Kaido bike ride and for exploring all that Onomichi has to offer. The hostel is a short walk to the train station, convenience stores, and a supermarket. The Temple Walk and shopping arcade are also nearby. Towels, toothbrushes, and breakfast options are provided. The beds are comfortable and the space is very clean. I highly recommend!
• Aleksei (7/5): Fine hostel, but you can find better place to stay in Onomichi for the same price - Just a normal hostel, maybe I’m spoiled by other places where I have stayed in Japan, but this one was definitely not the best Breakfast is free! But it was not enough for me, maybe it would be nice to add something sweet like toasts and jam Bad linen was too synthetic

The breakfasts are also amazing and the perfect start to the day. Beds are comfy, good showers, chill social vibe... loved it! It's also a very short walk from the station.

• Tudo Madoumier (8/5): Bienvenido a Onomichi - J'ai apprécié le nécessaire d'hygiène compris lors du sejour ainsi que la proximité de la station de tram et les boissons chaudes mises à disposition. Les personnes qui gères l'établissement sont très accueillant et les différentes options de petit-déjeuner sont un plus. De plus avec un petit supplément j'ai pu faire laver mes vêtements. La salle de bain est très petite d'autant plus qu'elle contient également des sanitaires. Les lits sont en métal donc très bruyants

• Annie Mclaughlin (10/5): - Carolina and her brother Percy were some of the warmest hosts we have had in Japan! The rooms were so nice and cozy (especially nice since it was freezing outside)! The breakfast was delicious and they have a great little diy kitchenette for coffee, tea, pop-corn and other treats!! They are fluent in Spanish also which was really nice! Wish we were staying longer in Onomichi! Everything!!

• Josef (8/5): - The owners were super cheerful and friendly and helpful. You could really see they enjoyed what they were doi g. I particularly enjoyed how they set up how a guest gets to choose their breakfast. For being a hostel the beds were ver comfortable and they provided many flashlights in case you wake up in the dark. The toilet room and shower was a bit on the smaller side and poorly ventilated.

Clean, Comfortable, and cozy beds and rooms. A great lounge area to meet other travellers and relax. And the location of the hostel was perfect - so close to the station, bike rental, ferry and the senkoji temple walk. Muchas gracias para todos!

• Camille (5/5): - Situé proche du centre d'Onomichi, avec accès facile aux attractions de la ville, mais dans un quartier un peu plus calme. Personnel sympathique qui a permis un check-in avant l'heure prévue, afin que je puisse déposer mes bagages sur place. Bien que la chambre était propre, la salle de bain et les sanitaires auraient pu bénéficier d'un nettoyage plus approfondi. Les lits dans les dortoir ne permettaient pas non plus d'être totalement obturés de la lumière.

• Pangan (8/5): - When we arrived at the hotel, I rang the doorbell four times, but no staff came out. I don’t think it would be appropriate to just go inside the building since the gate was locked, so I rang the doorbell first. However, no one came out to assist us. I hope this can be improved, and that in the future, if someone rings the doorbell outside, the staff will attend to them promptly.
• Emilie (8/5): - This place has at it needs : close to the station, close to nearby restaurants and supermarkets. You also get a few options for breakfast which is great! They change your towels everyday, which is so nice :) Also the owners are very very sweet and friendly !! It was perfect for a short stay but if you want to stay longer, there is no kitchen that you can use to cook (there are however microwaves, cups etc)

• Ainara (10/5): Alojamiento perfecto para viajeras solitarias - Está a 10 minutos andando de la estación de tren, el personal es encantador (hablan español) y el desayuno es espectacular. Las camas son super cómodas y hay una taquilla para guardar las maletas.
• Ｓｈｉｇｅ (10/5): - スタッフの親切な対応は泊まり客の心を温める。宿の位置は山側の尾道駅北口のほど近くに位置しており閑静な場所である。無料のしっかりした朝食はフリードリンクと共に泊まり客に元気をもたらす。ドミトリーでも寝台は清潔でカーテンでプライバシーが確保されゆっくり体を休める事ができる。もちろん一体式のシャワーとトイレ部屋も清潔である。更に特筆される事はフェイスタオルとバスタオルが無料で毎日交換される事及び歯みがきとボディスポンジの提供が有る事である。それ故極めてコストパフォーマンスに優れた宿と思われる。

• Stefania (7/5): - Staff is very friendly and supportive. Removing shoes at the entrance, common habit in Japan. Fresh daily towels. Big lockers. The facilities are slightly old. Having only one shower and one toilet on the floor for several girls. Hair dryers between the hostel entrance and the hall, so when many women are using it, the floor can get dirty with hair on the floor. No sink and soap for hand washing in the toilet area (however, this is very common in Japan, I can suggest providing some wipes or disinfectant for after-use). Found some dust and hair around my bedside lamp and shelf. Location is quite dark at night, however quiet and safe.

• TAKAHIRO (1/5): - booking.comより発行されるDLできる領収書？は、正式な明細ではないようで、 税金関連の手続きに必要となる有効な明細書を発行できるのは宿泊施設のみとなっているみたいなんで 宿泊した当日領収書の発行をお願いいたします。 とお願いしているにもかかわらず、「無理だ」の一点張りでbooking.comのサイトを確認したり、問い合わせしたりもなくご自身の認識で全て決めつけられたことに対し大変遺憾に感じております。 そもそもbooking.com側が宿泊先に対してそのような事実をちゃんと伝えるべきだし、そこを理解した上で宿泊先もbooking.comを利用するべきだと思いますがいかがでしょうか？ 今だに領収書の発行をしていただけなく出張経費の申請ができないかもしれません。 まだ解決していないのでbooking.com側から宿泊先に連絡をして促すようお願いいたします。 もしくは宿泊先側がbooking.comにご確認ください。
