• Angela (10/5): Top class accommodation with top class staff. - The accommodation was first class. Spotlessly clean, excellent facilities and some nice free extras provided like shower gel and shampoo and crumpets, butter and jam as well as bottled water. Beds were super comfy with top class bedding, towels were so soft and again top class. Staff were excellent, so friendly and helpful. We used the restaurant and the meal was excellent 👌 😋. We were so impressed we will visit again as we loved it. Prefer a walk in showers, but that's just personal.

• Linda (10/5): Exceptional stay! - Everything! All the staff were friendly. The apartment was beautiful, bed comfortable. Our fish dish in the restaurant was excellent. Space at breakfast was created for us to accommodate a disabled family member to visit and make her visit comfortable and accessible. Thank you. Late night bottle disposals and early 4.30am collection locally.
• Elizabeth (10/5): Everything was supplied in the apartment that we needed down to coffee pods - mik in fridge - complementary crumpets wit - It was a nice combination of a hotel environment and the space of an independent apartment. The restaurant food at Penny Blue was really nice and the service was perfect. I thought that the reception area was a little dark. We were glad of the lift but it was a bit confusing to operate.

Said that would be great. Then she rolled it 6 feet from front desk. Had to hold elevator door open and drag luggage in then carry them down 5 steps once I got onto my floor

Lovely touch of milk and crumpets on arrival with jam and butter. Fantastic. Bed was a bit firmer than we are used to but you cant please everyone.

• Yvonne (8/5): Lovely Hotel & Rooms - The staff were friendly throughout our stay from entering the building to leaving. The rooms were clean & tidy for us arriving with everything we needed. We like the added touches of complimentary items in the kitchen. The location was also great for the city centre shops and restaurants. Being based in the city centre did have a downside on the weekend nights, with rather loud music from nearby clubs playing well into the night and early hours. Parking is also quite expensive in the area, but is a price to be expected for a busy city centre.

• Paul (8/5): We had a good stay - We had a good stay and would certainly plan to return. The hotel is in an outstanding location for central Carlisle. Well-equipped room with plenty of space, a very comfortable bed and a useful kitchen area. Choice of coffee and tea was good and the crumpets, butter, marmalade and fresh milk supplied were very welcome. The accommodation is a bit tired and some floor finishes need replaced. Accessibility is patchy so, if you want stair-free access you will have to make a point of asking. Given that we asked for a shower instead of a bath for reasons of access, we shouldn’t really have had to have asked (a couple of stars deducted for this).

• Zoe (9/5): Great place to stay - Great location, welcoming staff. We had a lovely stay in Townhouse 1. Lovely decor and well equipped for our stay and some thoughtful little touches. Will definitely stay again. It was a little noisy as our bedroom was on the Main Street so there was some traffic noise etc but not unexpected as we were staying over new year.
