- Geruczek (8/5): Loved it except for one thing.... - Excellent location, nearby to rice paddy field walks, artist galleries, nice cafes and restaurants It was a privilege to stay inside a traditional Balinese compound and witness the day to day life of the locals Staff are very kind, friendly and helpful. Went above and beyond for us. Really appreciated the welcome bowl of fruit The pool area is divine and the whole aesthetic in general is very comfortable and pleasing to the eye Unfortunately there is a confused rooster on the compound who is prone to crowing from midnight onwards every hour or so. Both of us are light sleepers so this made it very difficult to get a good night's rest. The owners were unable to resolve the problem and were only able to offer earplugs. If you are not light sleepers or don't mind the rooster then I wholeheartedly recommend this place One other more minor thing is at night there are no signs marking the place and no lighting inside the compound so it can be a bit difficult and confusing to navigate. Perhaps the owners can put a sign for the villa at the front and back entrance as well as some lighting for the nighttime. Try to get yourself dropped off at the rear entrance when checking in, it will be much easier for you :-)

- Vittoria (8/5): Very good - Perfect villa for a weekly stay. Everything was clean, no mold or construction sound. Owner and caretaker very kind and attentive. There are many roosters just behind the corner. They are quite loud at the first ray of light.
