• Guest (9/5): A great apartment in the town centre. A very comfortable place and easy access as we were working close by - A spotless apartment in a great location. All rooms with en-suite and a few extra bathrooms thrown in for good measure. 😁 No Parking facilities. Although this didn’t affect us to much, due to our work times.
• Marcel (8/5): Would book again, although I'd need them to have bought firmer mattresses first - The location for Pontefract town centre is superb. There are plenty of toilet and shower facilities (1 in each room apart from the kitchen). There was sufficient crockery and cooking facilities aswell as a washing machine. Although there are quite a few stairs (the property is effectively over 3 floors) there is a one sided banister, they are not all straight stairs and some fan. There is 1 twin bedroom on the middle floor (the bottom level is an entrance only). It was warm and no drafts. The hosts made quick contact when we had a query we couldn't resolve Not a criticism, more for info. The steps into the property are a little uneven, needs careful consideration re foot position if you have reduced mobility or confidence. All the showers have atleast a 4" step in, and some are larger than others. The bathrooms are tight generally re size, but definitely functional. Whilst the property is slightly tired it was definitely clean and good value for money. The mattresses are all very soft. There are however 10 sleeping places, spread over 4 rooms. 1 x twin beds, 2 x double beds and 1 x 2 double beds. There were limited bulbs for all bedside lamps, but enough for our party size. All in all a nice place to visit Pontefract Town and surrounding areas. Just be aware parking is not available long term outside the property but the Council run Friarwood Carpark is only about a 5 min walk and cost approx £4 a day. It worth noting that the property is next to a pub that is being refurbished. Whilst it was a quiet town centre location for our stay, this could change when the new venue opens.
• Paula (1/5): Hot and wasp infestation - Rooms spacious We couldn’t open window in red hot heat due to wasp infestation- spent break killing wasps which somehow got in
• Markus (6/5): - Im Zentrum von Pontefract. Sehr viele Zimmer mit je einem eigenen Badezimmer. Küche ist schlecht ausgestattet (wenig Geschirr, kein Schneidbrett, keine Spülmaschine) und die Möbel fallen beinahe auseinander. Ausserdem wirkt der Zugang ins Appartement durch den Hinterhof etwas abschreckend.
• Lisa (8/5): We enjoyed our stay it met all our needs for the weekend and will be booking again in the future - Clean throughout and the beds were very comfortable. Lots of bathrooms and a well kitted out kitchen with a fridge freezer and washing machine. Good internet. Nice lounge and dining room. Great location for Pontefract and car park is a 5 minute walk for £4 for 24 hours. Could do with an information folder for the property with contact in emergencies, door keypad numbers inside the property, where the carpark is, places to eat etc . Light bulbs in lamps very scarce indeed, we think that there was a light bulb thief come in before our stay.
• Sharon (8/5): Great Location for our needs - We are a family of 7 so loved all the bathrooms. Property was clean I felt it was time to replace the beds/ mattresses and my pillow was also a bit past used by. The property is in the middle of town and therefore is noisy from all the pubs (lots of them). The pub or restaurant behind us emptied their bottles in the bins in the land underneath the windrow.

Served its purpose for what we needed. - All bedrooms had ensuite ,literally in the town centre ,although car parking not at property, probably two minute walk car park £4 for the whole day, night free. Probably could be a little bit cleaner a little noisy at night time, but you are in the middle of town ,the Internet was poor

• Justyna (10/5): Clean house for 10 people. - Very clean house. A lot of toilets available in every bedroom and living room as well. Free WIFI. Very fast answers from host. Everything was perfect.

• Louise (8/5): I’m good value but needs a better cleaner - The rooms were good all en-suite The entrance is scruffy and the cleaner could use some retraining the crockery and cutlery were grubby and the drawers, cupboards and ovens were dirty. We had a big wet patch on the lounge floor location is very noisy on a weekend but it’s close to the town centre so not a lot they can do
• Laura (8/5): Very good - Every Room has an own bathroom with shower The entrance area in the back yard was a bit dirty. Carpets throughout the house. A bathroom stank.
• Amy (8/5): Good facilities and good location. Hosts communicate well but with a couple of niggles - Very comfy beds Great central position for the town Unfortunately all the doors, except the kitchen, had PIN code entry and although they were set to unlocked, on a couple of occasions they locked by themselves, possibly by opening the doors using them to open the doors as there were no door handles. This happened when people were in the room and someone left, so we could open from inside however on the final day, the bedroom door locked and we were unable to get the luggage inside until the host provided us with the PIN number. This was concerning as we traveled with a baby and it would have been a serious situation if he had been in that room at the time. I think this could be avoided by providing all PIN numbers on arrival and also having door handles on the inside of the doors so it minimises knocking the locks and accidentally locking them before leaving. The property is great for access to the centre but with it being bank holiday it was loud with the local nightlife so worth bearing in mind if you book for the weekend.
• Saffiy (10/5): Awesome place! - It was very clean and everything was avaliable in the kitchen. Parking was a little issue, but for anyone traveling here soon. Parking is free outside the apartment 6pm onwards until 8am, and sunday is free for the day anytime. After 8am there is a parking lot down the road that has 4 pound day parking! Parking was a little issue but all good.

• Fiona (7/5): Lovely location to explore, lots of beds which we needed as a group, nice little town. - Perfect location for exploring town of Pontefract. Lots of noise from the local pubs until early hours of the morning. No double glazing unfortunately, not the end of the world but we would probably not have stayed there if we had been warned of the noise at night
