• Lieke (8/5): We had a lovely time and if we’re ever back in Malia we will be coming back here. - This hotel is located in the busiest street of Malia but it isn’t noticeable at all from the hotel room. The building looks lovely and the rooms are small but convenient. There is a supermarket nearby and plenty of restaurants. It is also very close to the Malia 33 busstop from which you can travel to for example Hersonissos and Iraklion. With that is is also just a few streets away from the beautiful Malia old town, and only about 15 minutes away from the beach. Our favourite thing to do at Malia Holidays hotel was go to the pool. There were many sunbeds and parasols for free use and there was a bar with lovely smoothies and lots of food choices. We want to compliment the lovely woman that worked at the pool bar every day for the whole week we were there. She worked 10-18 everyday in the heat and she deserves some appreciation for that. I very specifically want to tell every guests that stayed or will stay there that you can bring back your own food left overs and dishes to the bar and that it is no bother at all, instead of forcing the lovely woman at the bar to keep going into the heat of the sun to clean up your messes. Thank you in advance. We very much enjoyed our stay here. There were some loud guests which was not the hotels fault. The lovely owner even send some guests away because of improper behaviour. This was very much appreciated.

• shakira1 (8/5): - מיקום מעולה, צוות ידידותי, ארוחת בוקר בסיסית אבל טעימה. אסור להכניס אוכל או שתיה לאזור הבריכה אלא רק לרכוש מהמזנון בבריכה, החדרים מיושנים, והנקיון גרוע לא שמו קפה ולא החליפו את כוסות השתיה בנקיון היומי השאירו הכל מלוכלך. בלילות היה רעש נוראי של טריקות דלתות ובעיטות על הדלתות התעוררנו מספר פעמים.
• Rebecca (5/5): - The pool was nice and the lady at the snack bar was very sweet and had lovely service. Breakfast had limited options and was underwhelming. The receptionist who checked us in and who worked most days was rude, condescending and very unhelpful. The pool closed at 6pm! It's Summer holidays! The sun was up and we were asked to get out of the pool from 530. This was a huge contributor to the reduced rating along with the terrible service.

Déjeuner pas de qualité.. jus de fruit en poudre et peu de sucré ni de fruit On doit forcément consommer au bar de la piscine, interdiction d'avoir un boisson personnelle. Chambre a peine nettoyé durant le séjour et salle de bain très vétuste.

• Ann (10/5): Magnificent Malia Holidays - The friendliness, the warmth and the serenity. Though close to the town centre, it was relatively quiet. The ladies were very helpful with helping me locate my relatives, that was my main reason for visiting crete. By the end of the holiday, the ladies were like family. It had a pool table, chess, a swimming pool, ample gardens to relax and unwind. My reservation came with breakfast included. There was nothing that I did not like, it is a family friendly hotel and much older than other hotels.

• Vanessa (8/5): Very peaceful at this time of year all of the clubs on the strip closed so a great way to see Malia. - All the staff were so helpful, especially when I was on my own. The breakfast was lovely, and the staff provided amazing support. The property was very clean and had excellent facilities and staff. As I attended the Hotel off-season mid-Oct, both hotel Bars were closed; this was not a problem for me, but it could be a problem for others. The hotel did not also notify us of these closures prior to or at check-in.

• Leonard110 (4/5): Disappointed - I liked the position and some people of the staff but nothing to make our experience memorable(just the barman had great customer service) Doesn't matter how many stars the hotel has,human touch makes the whole difference. Unfortunately the food was really bad, breakfast and dinner.Really poor quality of the food and how it was cooked as well. The rooms were not really clean either,we found many hair in the bed and in the pillow cases...Sorry but for me those are BASIC services that a Hotel should give to their guests

• Vít (4/5): Overrated hotel in the centre of Malia - Hotel provides general breakfast and dinner services with quite sufficient variability of meals. There's a supermarket almost right in front of the hotels to buy something in case of need. Staff (apart from ladies at reception) was quite friendly and helpfull. Hotel itself proclaims on Booking having parking place in front of the hotel for free, which is really misleading. Hotel does not own any parking place at all and because it's right at city center, you can drive for hours to find some close parking place. Wifi is good only for scrolling thru facebook, don't expect playing videos thru it. As mentioned here several times, shower and bathroom overal is in horrible state. Dinners and breakfasts were OK, but cats present everywhere are begging the guests for food. Lady at the reception behaved more like a teacher - during the arrival, she behaved bossy and told me all the rules and things that are forbidden - to start feeling guilty even before I entered the room. Room floor before my arrival was not cleaned for sure - I found plenty of long woman hairs on the floor. Hotel itself is in very noisy area, drunk people were shouting in the street till early morning and I could hear every word from the next rooms.
