- Bladt (10/5): - Loved the first night when the see was so rough that you could hear the sound of the waves crashing as you fall asleep. Like the fact that the beach is a stone through away from the property. Every morning after breakfast we had to take a walk on the beach. You could even take a walk on the beach and go have breakfast, lunch or dinner at one of the restaurants right next to beach. Also loved the piece and quietness of Velddrif. The pool was a little to small for my boy's, but we still enjoyed ourselves. I do think the pool was designed more for relaxing, then for swimming.Also did not like the sound of the birds stepping on the roof, at times it sounded like the birds were fighting. Especially in the morning and at night. Although the sound only came from the main bedroom because it was on the second floor. I do think one of those spinning reflective bird repellents will help to keep them away.
