Lesley (5/5): Great place to stay to enjoy the beach and shops! - I really liked the pool and my kids enjoyed being able to swim into the evening. This was somewhat close to the Pier compared to some of the other area hotels so it helped with our walks to and from the shops and “town”. Our parking spot was across the road for our unit. It was really tight but a bit inconvenient as we had to leave some stuff in the vehicle and it wasn’t always accessible. It was just myself and three kids, so I didn’t feel comfortable sending them that far away to grab something. So, a bit of a nuisance that way. Parking is tight everywhere in this area though.

Audra (8/5): Great little motel - It's very quiet and a few steps from the beach. It's a quick walk to downtown. The pool is super warm. The owner is absolutely wonderful! This is a great place to stay in Old Orchard. We had some rude Canadian people who did not speak English next to us and they would slam their door if we were sitting on the outdoor table. As if they wanted us to get up so they could use it. It was pretty uncomfortable at times but it didn't ruin our stay.

Not many places in town that was open during the week that had breakfast. But it was a quiet stay and we enjoyed it. And the parking was tight

Sabrina (9/5): We had a great time at this hotel, I would definitely recommend it to my family and friends - The property is just a few steps from the beach, and close to the city’s boardwalk and pier but far enough to be away from all the traffic and noise. The price quality ratio is great.the staff is super friendly, the rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. There is a functional kitchen perfect for breakfast and lunch. It was a perfect place for our family of 4 The bathroom is really tiny but considering the price of nearby hotels, we could not complain.

They definitely make cleanliness a priority and the kitchenette had everything we needed from a coffee pot and toaster to plates, pots, pans, glasses and silverware. Pool was basically all ours too!

Christy (10/5): The Echo Hotel is an excellent option for OOB area. - The proximity to the beach makes this an excellent choice. The box of leftover beach toys to use and share is incredibly helpful. Upstairs sitting area on the landing is helpful for visiting with others so you don’t have to sit inside.

Duane (8/5): Very good - The staff was wonderful, there was a dedicated parking spot, location to the beach was excellent, a very short walk. Bed was comfortable. Shower was hot. AC worked House keeping did a nice job daily replacing towels each day and making the bed. There were 2 annoying flys in our room. We were able to get one of them. The other will be there for the next guests. When the people above us took a shower at 6:30 each morning the loud sound of water running woke us up each day. The piping went up the inside of our outside wall.

James (8/5): Great place and location - Great location to center of town but far enough away so it was quiet. The biggest issue is the trains that run through the old orchard beach area. The tracks run close to the beach area so unfortunately when they get close to road crossing they must blow the horn’s at each road crossing. You just need to be aware some hotels are closer to these areas. This one is a several blocks from the closest crossing but you still hear them at various times. You won’t get much closer to the beachfront just be aware you’ll hear trains horns as early as 5:30 am or at mid night.if it wasn’t for the train this would be nine out of ten. All the parking on site where the room was ( just a short walk to it)

I was worried that since it was older, the rooms would be worn out and not so clean. It was wonderful to discover that the motel is exactly as it is portrayed online. I was very happy. Two cold rainy days.
