• Keith (10/5): Our month there was trouble free. - The property was in a great location. Our host, Amethyst, did everything in her power to make our stay pleasant. A small shop across the road made shopping easy. Parking was not a problem. A shortcut to the beach was just across the road.
• Nicolas (10/5): Welcome to paradise! - The owner and her family were sweet and friendly. We felt at home immediately. The apartment was very clean and had everything we wanted. The beach was 5 min walking distance and fabulous. We were in a quiet neighborhood but close to Holetown commodities.

• Guest (10/5): My stay was amazing and the owner is really nice. She ensures you are comfortable. - We nade our own breakfast. However, there is a shop right opposite where you can purchase stuff. Additionally, Massy is about a 13 minutes walk from the property. Not applicable
• Emma (10/5): High recommend, convenient, great location and amazing host - From the moment we arrived, the owner of the apartment Amethyst made us feel so welcome. My husband and I were staying for a week and the apartment had everything we needed, it was very clean and we had a big outdoor space. The apartment is in a neighbourhood, but there is a great shortcut that brings you to the beach in less than 5 minutes walking and it also brings you to the main road that goes through Holetown. This made the location very convenient as we didn’t have a car, but there are regular buses going to areas including Bridgetown, the Airport, Speightstown, Oisins and they all took our huge suitcases! Straight across the road from the apartment, there is a small shop which was very handy to pick up beer, soft drinks, bread, eggs etc. We both felt very safe at this location, the neighbours were very helpful and couldn’t do enough to assist us. On our last day, they were helping us with bus timetables. The local beach is beautiful and the best days we had here were snorkelling on the coral reef from the local beach. Nothing

• Claire (9/5): It worked so well as I loved the location and the little apartment owned by my amazing host. - I had everything I needed in the apartment and it was comfortable with a great bed and AC. It was great to be able to sit outside on the terrace, and I met some of the really friendly people from the surrounding local community. I was travelling alone and always felt comfortable around what became my little home. The reggae music on Saturday night from the bar opposite was really great, but it went on very late so I just used earplugs. The location is just a few minutes from several wonderful beaches or the local buses, and not far to the grocery store shops and food stands. My very friendly and delightful host welcomed me with a big smile and a lovely little gift. She was always available to answer questions or help me. I do hope I can return!
• Julian (10/5): Amazing - must stay - Don't let these pictures or the neighbourhod area fool you! What an amazing little cottage. The hostess was such a sweet lady. The place has all the amenities you need for your stay. Everything is neatly packed into this place. Don't expect Fairmont Luxury - this is local experience! The locals are super friendly and always came out at night to chat and share some local secrets. 5 min walk to the beaches and the strip of restaurants right near Folkestown Marine Reserve. The music from the main strip is loud in the evenings but tapers off. I highly recommend this place. For longer stays, would have been a nice touch to have a quick housekeeping service.

• Luis (8/5): Nice apartment with great hosts. - The apartment is the annex of a nice family living next door. It is quite cozy and comfortable. The area, and the street where the apartment is located, wouldn't be ideal for many people. There are guys hanging around, day and night, so it could be a bit intimidating, especially for women alone. Once on the main road everything is near by, including, the shops, beaches and restaurants.

• Isabelle (8/5): Great - Great location, just a few minutes walk from a beautiful beach, shops & restaurants. Great transport to Bridgetown or Speightstown. The host was the loveliest woman, very kind and friendly. Nice to be in a local neighbourhood in Barbados. It was a little noisy in the street at night.
• Jennifer (10/5): Perfect Barbados Style Apartment - This apartment is clean and spacious. Local TV in the lounge and Netflix in the bedroom. Everything I needed was there. A warm welcoming awaits and the close community of neighbours were so friendly towards me. A lovely neighbour's house opposite sold any essential items. I got my eggs and snacks and drinks there! There is a shortcut to the beach by foot... about a 5 minute walk. The main town 5/10 mins walk. The garden has a sun lounger and table, chairs and umbrella. Also a large veranda with a big table. I will stay here again when I return to Holetown. The picture below is the closest beach. Thank you so much.

• Juliana (9/5): It really felt like at home for a few days and we’d definitely go back if we have the opportunity! - The hosts were the best ever! Amethyst welcomed us with a big smile and offered us some delicious coconuts. We felt welcome from the very beginning! The house is super comfortable and has everything you’d need for a few days. Plus, it’s only a few steps far away from a beautiful beach. There was a bit of discomfort with the parking. Parking was available, which was great, although each time we had to maneuver quite a bit to make it properly without damaging the car (the step was pretty hight, at least for our car)

• Robin (9/5): Great value for money, friendly and helpful host. - The apartment is simple, clean and perfect for my needs. It is in a local area, but the locals are all very friendly. I didn't feel unsafe even late at night. There is a very small bar/shop across the road which was useful for buying water/beer etc. Amethsyt lives next door so is available to help when required, not that there was much need. She did do some laundry for me which was very kind. Lovely hosts. The location is great, only a few minutes walk to the beach and less than 10 minutes t the main part of Holetown with bars/restaurants/supermarkets etc I could not have expected anything better for the very reasonable price.
• Jenifer (9/5): I arrived at the property in the wee hours of the morning and I was greeted by the owner. - There was not a breakfast option. An electric kettle and stove were on site. The place was exceptionally clean and the air conditioning system worked perfectly. Nice and cool. It was ok for me.

The shop just opposite and the neighbours were also very nice. Beautiful beach just a few minutes from the accommodation. And the owner was very helpful in everything. Once again we want to thank him for his kindness. An exceptional woman. Everything was wonderful

• Connie (10/5): Feels like home - It was close to the beach, stores, little bar and bus stop. Also walking distance to the bars in holetown. This apartment just reminds me of home. There was even some basic food items to get us started so we didn't have to rush out to the store. Absolutely loved it here. Neighbour's are very friendly too.

• Alexandra (9/5): Superb - I travelled by myself and really enjoyed the stay. The air conditioning is great, the kitchen very cute and due to the proximity to the supermarket I enjoyed cooking. Close by are some delicious and affordable food trucks, I bought many smoothies from there. The beach is very close by, as well as a couple of restaurants. The apartment is in a side street so at first I was a bit careful walking around once it got dark. However, the main street is close, the neighbours are very welcoming and I felt quickly very comfortable.

I can’t wait to go back! - The property offered a lovely setting outside to enjoy the beautiful weather. Inside was very clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. The kitchen was small but well stocked with everything you would want. There wasn’t anything I didn’t like or was unhappy about with the property.

The location is perfect for getting to the beach, and the neighbours were all very friendly. The hostess was lovely and very accommodating, and helpfully provided beach towels, kitchen/bathroom stuff etc. Nothing- it was exactly what we wanted

• Angela (10/5): excellent value budget accommodation in fantastic location 5 minutes walk from west coast beaches. - self catering, but the host kindly stocked my fridge with eggs, bread, juice..... plus tea, coffee, sugar... large comfortable bed plus air conditioning. Very clean; good facilities and very welcoming and accommodating host. best beaches nearby, supermarkets, shops, medical facilities, public transport etc... neighbours were noisy at times, but that was beyond my host's control.
