- MicroMike (9/5): A fantastic, well-equipped and maintained little cottage with everything you could need - A lovely holiday cottage. Appeared very clean and tidy upon entry (we hope we left it in a similar condition!). The property has one twin bedroom and one double bedroom, plus a living room, bathroom and kitchen all very well equipped. The view over the Tay is outstanding and the name "Seaview" is well justified. There are some great shops / coffee shops / restaurants along Perth Road heading towards the town centre. Picollos's is a lovely bijou Italian restaurant with superb food, but shout outs also to the Giddy Goose (burgers etc.) and Mas (Tex-Mex). This cottage is great! We will certainly try and stay here again next time we're visiting Dundee. It's not that we "didn't like" this but there is a 20-30 minute walk from the property to the town centre so bear that in mind if you're not very mobile. However, it is also on the bus route into the centre with bus stops very close by.
- John (10/5): Great location very warm for us very comfortable also. - Very good location for us property was warm and comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped even though we ate out The pre poured milk in glass jug and a bottle of clear liquid in fridge which was unlabelled
- Caroline (10/5): Fantastic stay great location and brilliant views - Staff preparing the property thought of ever comfort Views amazing
Comfortable
- Philip (7/5): - Nice property in a nice location The bathroom could have been cleaner, pubic hair in shower area. Slight smell of damp in bedroom
- Jim (8/5): Excellent - Main bedroom radiator was not very warm
- John (10/5): Cosy cosy. - It was very cosy cosy. Spotless. Had all kitchen tools you need. Close to city centre and all attractions. We were liucky to get a Parking space right at door always during stay. We had the best nights sleep ever. I couldn’t see in the guest book how to turn heating up, down or off. Wanted to watch a tv programme on catch up but it asked for a PIN number. We couldn’t see the pin number listed anywhere. We will return as it was a Godsend.
- Arlene (10/5): The host had put a lot of thought into what you need for a comfortable stay and would definitely book again for our next - Very clean, everything you would need is provided coffee, tea, sugar and a pint of milk, the heating was on for us so the cottage was lovely and warm, beautiful views from the back of the property great location only a short walk to the city centre, parking available right outside the cottage To be honest there was nothing that we didn’t like
- Pamela (10/5): A gem. - Warm on arrival. Welcomed with tea and biscuits available. TV packages a bonus. Location means it is easy walking to everything you want. Leaving!!! Wishwe had booked for longer.

Lovely views of the water Everything you need for a lovely stay . We have rebooked for next year No blackout curtains /blinds in bedroom so awake early due to morning brightness this is the only criticism I have

- Lindsay (10/5): Ideal for what we wanted to do whilst in Dundee. - The whole property was clean and just perfect for our needs . The view from the lounge windows was beautiful and I appreciated the tasteful decor throughout, plain but with bursts of colour . None.
- Ann (9/5): Superb - It was like a home away from home. Had everything you could need. Nothing i didnt like about the property. Only issue i had was the pillows on the bed were uncomfortable but this is just down to personal preference.
- Sally (7/5): Good - Lovely flat with great views. No direct access to garden.

- Fraser (9/5): Overall excellent and great value. - Great value. Very nice overall. Bit of mould/condensation on window. Same as at home however.
- Ashleigh (10/5): Very much a home from home - Great location and very homely. We were sad to leave and will definitely be back. Great to just sit with a coffee and watch the world go by from the window which had a fantastic view of the rail bridge. We can’t complain about anything.
- Louise (10/5): Amazing - It was beautiful and cozy N/A
- Bonnie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Margaret (10/5): Exceptional - Always clean & comfortable
- Elise (9/5): Very convenient, and will be staying again. - Super close to all your needs, so we walked to all the locations we needed to, and made most of our meals together in the kitchen. The heater in the master room didn’t work a few of the nights, but there were extra blankets. There was also a lingering smell of smoke, but that aired out after a warm afternoon of propping up the window.
- Anne (9/5): Superb -
- Mark (9/5): Superb - shower cold
- David (9/5): Excellent stay in a lovely location, hope to stay again. - Lovely location (we want to move there!) our whippet appreciates having a front door to get out quickly in the morning. Very cosy and the perfect street to stay in Dundee. Unfortunately the washing machine was disconnected and some additional cleaning was necessary. One of the sash and case windows wouldn’t lock and rattled loudly in the wind.
- Rebecca (10/5): Exceptional -
- Scott (9/5): Another perfect 4 day stay. - 3rd stay here and as usual the perfect location for our needs.
Will definitely stay again. Nothing as all good as expected.
- Martin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Daniel (10/5): Perfect - Seaview Cottage is a perfect place to stay
Great location very clean and comfortable very well equipped we have found our home from home can’t wait to stay next year Nothing bad to say
- Rebecca (10/5): Exceptional - Really lovely apartment. Cosy, clean, comfortable, welcoming and everything has been thought of. Wish we had booked for more than one night, perfect wee place
- Jim (10/5): Sublime stay by the Silvery Tay - Lovely comfy and close to amenities, perfect for our stay
- Laura (10/5): Lovely place to stay near the town centre definitely book again - Great location beautiful view comfy and welcoming cottage Like everything
- Jane (10/5): A home from home , would definitely book again if staying in Dundee - Fantastic Airbnb . There’s everything you need from comfy bed , excellently equipped kitchen , to straighteners , magnifying mirror , hairdryer and extra blankets . The place was warm and spotlessly clean , plenty of hot water and proper blinds on the windows which meant a good nights sleep without being woken up at the crack of dawn by sunlight streaming in .
The town centre is a pleasant 20 minute walk and the area has useful and independent shops , bars and restaurants without having to go all the way into town.
It was also quiet and had beautiful views over the Tay . I would thoroughly recommend. Nothing really ! Maybe a drying rack for the washing up would be useful l was worried about chipping the plates .
- Fiona (8/5): Lovely stay in Dundee - Good facilities and comfortable beds
- Tracey (8/5): Nice cottage. Beds could improve - Great location. Easy parking and access. Spectacular views over the Tay. Well stocked kitchen. The mattresses are needing replaced. The double you just rolled into the middle of and the singles weren’t much better.
- Debbie (10/5): We will be back - Great place and so convenient Nothing
- Amy (9/5): Brilliant stay. Will be staying again. - Keys in lockbox meant got straight in when we arrived.
Beautiful view over Tay.
Liked all the extras property provided from tea coffee and milk, to shampoo, shower gel, as well as hair dryer there were straighteners.
Cottage had everything need for a comfortable stay. A dehumidifier in property would be good. Not a major issue but would help in the mornings.
- Margaret (10/5): Exceptional - Very clean, very well equipped, there was an air fryer, slow cooker, microwave, plenty of utensils & plenty of hot water for showers etc & the most beautiful view. Easily to walk into centre of Dundee.
- Adam (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rkr (9/5): Superb - Very clean and modern.
Everything you need.
Lovely views.
Great pub nearby that beats the pubs in the City.
- Hansa (10/5): Exceptional - Location is too good. property is clean, comfy & Cosy. bathroom washbasin doesn't have hot water.
- Leonard (9/5): Superb -
- David (9/5): Excellent location and clean comfortable apartment. - Clean apartment, well equipped kitchen and bathroom. Beds comfortable. Lounge and dining area acceptable for the four of us. Location excellent, could get the bus into Dundee. Parking outside the apartment.
- Tariq (9/5): Nice small property ideal for a family of four - Place was clean and ideal for my family stay
We attended my niece wedding and the location was really convenient Location, ease of finding the property, close to the station and main town centre, close of local shops, restaurants etc
- Pamela (10/5): Lovely time staying at Seaview cottage. Jst what we needed as a family for 4 - Plenty of space and everything thing you could need for your stay Little bit further from city centre than I had anticipated
- Sarah (5/5): Passable - Comfortable apartment with nice view and well equipped. Easy to access Dundee centre. 2nd night we heard our neighbours below. It was as if they were in the apartment with us!
We also didn't like Dundee, 2 nights was too much. Not a lot to do and an unruly population in the town especially in the evenings.
- Ruth (10/5): Great comfortable holiday home in a good location. - Very clean, bright and comfortable house. Nicely decorated and very well equipped. Televisions in both the double bedroom and the twin room as well as a third in the living room. Lovely views down to the Tay. The pint of milk in the fridge was a nice surprise as were the chocolate biscuits, tea and coffee - much appreciated. Nothing to dislike.
- Darren (7/5): I'd stay here again, nice property. - It's a nice little place to stay, clean and comfy, with everything that you'll need. We were lucky enough to be able to park outside the door. If you don't fancy the fair walk into town or parking there, there's bus stops close by. Host was responsive and amenable. Good wifi. We'd stay again. We found the main bedroom to be a bit cramped and the desk/chair near the wardrobe didn't help, I'd ditch that.
- Scott (10/5): 2nd visit here and already booked up again for October. Perfect place if you have kids with separate bedrooms and living - Homely, peaceful and quiet retreat. Nothing
- Catherine (9/5): This is the third time we have stayed in this property and would definitely stay again. - The location is excellent I was visiting family so know the area well. 10 minute drive to Botanical gardens which are great. The park about another 10 minute drive. You can walk into the centre of Dundee or there is a bus stop across the road. also plenty parking on the street. The hot water tap on the basin in the bathroom doesn’t work properly.
- Kim (8/5): Very good -
- Barbora (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely place! The cottage has everything a tourist might need. We really appreciated how spacious it was and how well-equipped. Very clean. Parking on the street for free and a self-checking were a big plus. The beds were a little too soft for us but overall the place was extremely comfy and cozy.
- Akari (8/5): Lovely cottage with all amenities needed for a pleasant stay and great location with view - Lovely cottage with nice view of bridge and river
Brilliant location and easy access everywhere
The decorations are eye-catching and the cottage has all the facilities you need for a peaceful stay
They have the heating on in the morning despite being in summer (that’s the only time I notice btw) The toilet door lock is stuck and need force to lock completely.
- Kellie (9/5): Would stay again, lovely view and local for all amenties - Nice decor, comfy beds, lovely view, pretty
Central
- Julie (10/5): Comfy. Great facilities. Will be staying again though - It was perfect for the family and nephews 21st at a bar sat night. Just didn’t have seats so we could outside. But we were only in at nights. So not really a problem n
- Jean (9/5): Lovely wee place - Lovely home, felt very welcoming and was very clean. Nice area and central for lots of days away. No clear access to back garden.
- Linda (9/5): Really loved it. Would use it again - Very easy to gain access and just left to our own devices There was a smell in the kitchen
- Heidi (8/5): Very good - Unexpectedly there was milk and boxes of cereal. There was everything we needed in terms of appliances (iron, hairdryer, even straighteners) The hot water in the bathroom was very weak and you had to run the tap for ages before it came through. There was also quite a lot of road noise in the twin bedroom.
- Remigiusz (10/5): Exceptional - Very good location. 25 minutes walk to city centre. Nice and tidy...
We Very happy be there.
Definitely RECOMMENDED.
100% we back
- Judith (10/5): A gem of a find. - The location was excellent for getting to the city centre and the surrounding area. Was so accessible for our son who has cerebral palsy. Will definitely use again when visiting our daughter studying at the university. Key ring on the front door key.
