• Jana Fulínová (10/5): Ubytování v Casa Baloo předčilo naše očekávání. Vše bylo perfektní. 15/10 - Líbilo se nám vše, rodinný pokoj měl 2 manželské postele, v koupelně byla potřebná kosmetika a dostatek ručníků jak do sprchy, tak na pláž. Na tu nám manažerka Lucy půjčila i dvě plážová křesílka a slunečník (ten nebylo kvůli větru vždy možné roztáhnout. Ale to nevadilo na pláži byly vybudovány přístřešky z palmových listů od místních obyvatel). V pokoji bylo veškeré potřebné vybavení, dvouplotýnka, kávovar, lednička s mrazákem a dostatek nádobí na drobné vaření (my si však nevařili). Lucy nám rovněž dala velký barel s vodou, což jsme nečekali a bylo to moc milé překvapení. Bazén je dostatečný a je u něj sprcha, což jsme využívali po příchodu z pláže. Moc se nám líbil výhled ze střešní terasy, kde je možný odpočinek v houpací síti či na pohovkách. Večerní západ slunce je dechberoucí. Manažerka hotelu nám byla vždy se vším nápomocná, ať s přípravou výletu, doporučením restaurace či s požadavkem na vyprání prádla. Hotel byl čistý a udržovaný (díky Mary a Ceasar). Snídaně se podává jen kousek od ubytování (1 min chůze), je jednoduchá, ale dostačující a moc dobrá (sladké pečivo, sezonní ovoce a jogurt s granolou). Je možné si objednat za příplatek i další varianty (vajíčka, palačinky apod.) vše vynikající. Ubytování se nachází na kraji vesnice, což ovšem nevadí, do centra je to max. 10 minut chůze. V okolí hotelu jsou různé restaurace. Pláž byla v době naší návštěvy téměř liduprázdná. Jednak jsme nebyli v hlavní sezóně a jednak je to polohou na okraji vesnice. Vyhovovalo nám to. Cesta od hotelu na pláž je max. 5 minut chůze, je to opravdu kousek. Na pláži není žádné zázemí, což nám nevadilo, v okolí jsou restaurace a do hotelu je to kousek. Moře bylo čisté a mělké, což vyhovovalo našim dětem...Málo kdy se vracím do stejného hotelu, ale pokud pojedu ještě někdy do El Cuyo, volba bude jasná. Děkujeme Lucy a celému jejímu týmu (Mary a Caesarovi) za to, jak se k nám chovali a jak udělali naši dovolenou nezapomenutelnou. Vše bylo perfektní.

• Pietro (10/5): - Pressoché tutto. Struttura bellissima, rifinita in legno chiaro. Una altana con divano per poter assaporare il tramonto. Camere molto confortevoli con bagno dotato di tutti i prodotti. Pulizie e cambio asciugamani a richiesta, quando desiderato. Piscina molto bella e tranquilla, con zone in ombra. Colazione non abbondante, ma comunque più che sufficiente per le abitudini Italiane, integrabile a richiesta con supplemento. L'unico problema è stato che al momento del pagamento non funzionava bene il POS e l'addebito è stato "girato" a Booking, che lo ha fatto applicando un cambio "molto" favorevole (a Booking!).

• Karina (10/5): - Muchas cosas buenas que decir. Primero, la calidad humana de los propietarios. Nos trataron muy bien e incluso nos apapacharon con un gran detalle para mi mamá. Las instalaciones magníficas, los acabados de gran calidad y buen gusto. La terraza en la parte alta le da un gran plus. El desayuno incluido muy rico! Todo bien y con gusto volveríamos! No encontramos ruido cercano así que eso estuvo de lujo! Todos nos gusto!

• Sira (10/5): - Wunderschöner, ruhiger Ort. Mega,freundlich, kein Wunsch bleibt unerfüllt. Es gibt sogar Schirme und Klappstühle für den Strand. Tolle Dusche! Alles toll! Straße dort hin etwas holprig. Von innen kann man nicht abschließen, aber die Insel scheint sehr sicher.

• Nadine (10/5): Highly recommend, a real gem! - We had a wonderful stay at Casa Baloo, the best hotel we’ve stayed at in Mexico so far. From the warm welcome by Lucy, it was clear that everything here is done with great care and attention to detail. The whole property is impeccably maintained, from the beautiful pool area to the rooms, and there’s even a rooftop with views over the lagoon. We stayed in the spacious family room. It was nicely decorated and had a well-equipped small kitchen (induction plates!), which was ideal for us. We could prepare snacks for the beach for our daughter, there was even Tupperware. Breakfast was served in a lovely garden area under palm trees and included fresh juice or coffee, fruit with granola, and every day a different selection of sweet and savory pastries. You can also order more from the menu. We tried the omelet and pancakes, both delicious. Before booking, I was a bit unsure about the location, since the hotel seemed to be at the edge of town. But actually, it turned out to be perfect: about a 4-minute walk to the beach, 10 minutes to the town center with supermarkets and coffee shops, and close to the kite-surfing area and several beachside restaurants to the east. There are also plenty of great restaurants nearby. We loved El Cuyo. It’s a relaxed, lovely, and very safe beach town with an amazing beach, perfect for kite-surfing lovers, families, and travelers who enjoy nature, a serene atmosphere, and laid-back beach vibes. There are no clubs, loud bars, or beach clubs. Lucy provided beach towels, chairs, and a parasol, although it was too windy for us to use it. The sea got in the afternoon a bit rough, I was glad we brought a children’s swim vest. We stayed five nights, but it felt too short. In hindsight, we would have skipped Río Lagartos and stayed longer in El Cuyo. We actually saw more flamingos here than on the tour there (in December, but in the breeding season this could be different).
• Claudia (8/5): Schöne neue Anlage - Schöne neue kleine Anlage. Zimmer und Badezimmer sauber. Liegen mit Auflagen am Pool und eine Dachterrasse mit Hängematte. Unser Bad war noch nicht baumangelfrei. Duschwasser lief nicht richtig ab, Toilette schepperte beim Aufstehen. Das Bett war für 2 Personen (ca. 120 cm) zu klein. Kein Trinkwasser im Zimmer/Anlage. Die Anlage ist recht weit weg vom Zentrum, der Weg bis dort ist dunkel.

• Marta (10/5): The perfect place to stay! Absolutely faultless! - The perfect place! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We stayed 8 nights at Casa Baloo and it was the best choice ever! Lucy, the host, is the kindest, most helpful host you could wish for. She went out of her way to make sure we had everything we wanted. The rooms are clean and comfy. The pool is lovely. The food in the restaurant is delicious and offered authentic Mexican cuisine as well as other treats. My favourite thing was the roof terrace - views over the lagoon, the jungle and the chance to watch the sunrise and sunset !! If you’re going to Mexico, Casa Baloo is an excellent choice of where to stay. 100% recommended 😍 -
