Guest Reviews
- Richard Taylor (9/5): Super cabin, great location with sea view and lots of walking options. - Great cabin, location and local area for us - we enjoy walking. Buddle Inn, the closest pub option was excellent and had the seafood platter for two. Very picky to say anything, but a few more preset apps on TV, and seating is a sofa bed, which is great for another bed option so understandable, but not as comfortable as an actual sofa.

- Rachel (10/5): A beautiful place to relax. - A little piece of heaven on the Isle of Wight. A really quiet and peaceful haven from the hustle and bustle of the everyday. The most gorgeous views and lovely nearby walks. A couple of pubs with restaurants within walking distance. What could be better. Maybe another coat rack to hang up clothes in the bedroom.
- Helen (9/5): Had a lovely stay, owners were really helpful and accommodating. Cabin was really functional with lots of helpful item - Lovely location, great views, nice and peaceful. Tight walled road leading up to it, nothing that that property can do about that though.

- Flo (10/5): Incredibly relaxing and charming - really recommend Puckaster Cove Cabin! - This was a really lovely getaway and the hosts went truly above and beyond for us as we had a small mishap with the local bus!
The view is exactly same as the photos and it's very quiet around. The cabin was great; super clean and pleasant.
I highly recommend this, we found that Niton was far less touristy while still having enough to dine out, and good bus connections.

The hosts were great, thinking of all our needs but also balancing the privacy we like.
The cabin was well thought out and had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable so even though we stayed during a heatwave we managed to get really good sleep. The outside shower was a real bonus to help cool down during the day Nothing
- Sharmila (10/5): Perfect retreat for a relaxing and peaceful time away from the hustle and bustle of life. Fantastic hosts. - It was very thoughtfully and beautifully furnished and decorated with attention to detail. Despite being small it was cleverly organised. Nothing.

- Robinia (10/5): Nice and comfy cabin, quite area, beautiful view sea and no noises. - A lovely little nice peace cabin with beautiful view looking at the sea. Saw a few yurts which was surprised me. Next time I come again I would like to try Yurt. Love the old iron metals windmill wheels and oats machine. This remind me when I was teenager in Orkney we have those same wheels and machine. Metal bath with plants which is great creative. I rather be in a quite area than the busy hotel with noises surrounding. Provide milk, washing up liquid with sponge, towels etc. some others don’t and end up buying ourselves which we only need a very little to use. Really appreciate and Russ is lovely and friendly and feels welcome. There isn’t anything I don’t like .
- Shruti (10/5): Very relaxing and amazing stay - The property was very cozy and just perfect for a little relaxing getaway. And the view from the property was just amazing. I will definitely visit here again.
- Yang (10/5): Our experience at Puckaster Cove Cabin was nothing short of exceptional. - During our recent stay at Puckaster Cove Cabin, we had an absolutely exceptional experience. From the moment I arrived, we were captivated by the beauty of the surroundings. The cabin is nestled in a picturesque location, offering breathtaking views of the cove and surrounding nature.
The cabin itself exceeded our expectations in every way. It was impeccably clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable and cosy atmosphere. The interior was tastefully decorated, combining rustic charm with modern amenities. We appreciated the attention to detail, from the comfortable bedding to the well-equipped kitchen.
One of the highlights of our stay was the tranquillity and serenity that enveloped the cabin. It was the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. We enjoyed peaceful mornings sipping coffee on the porch, surrounded by the sounds of nature. The evenings were equally enchanting, as we watched the stars paint the sky with vibrant blinks.
The location of Puckaster Cove Cabin also provided ample opportunities for outdoor activities. We took advantage of the nearby hiking trails, exploring the scenic beauty of the area. The proximity to the cove allowed for leisurely walks along the shoreline, immersing ourselves in the soothing sounds of the waves.
- Smitha (9/5): Superb -
- Rasa (10/5): Amazing, relaxing stay with gorgeous view of the sea. - Russel and Steph were amazing hosts, making sure we had all the items needed for our comfort, full of local knowledge. They were warm, welcoming and even found a little remedy for my freshly hurt ankle. Highly recommend! Not really applicable!
- Danielle (9/5): little gem! - Lovely little holiday let! finished to a high standard and well equipped. Compct but plenty of storage. Comfy beds and spotlessly clean. Russell and Steph were extremely hospitable and we had a great time. l nothing
- Dominic (10/5): Fantastic location, quirky accommodation and fantastic hosts - can't get any better! - We had a short stay on the Isle of Wight and wanted simple self catering accommodation in a quiet area, with nice views and easy walk to shop/pubs etc. Puckaster Cove meets ALL those criteria and more.
Firstly - Location - it overlooks the south coast and you get great views out to sea with the accommodation set up to focus your attention on the view. The south side of the island seems to be quieter, which is what we were after, but this didn't mean total seclusion. In fact there are quite a few places to eat within a reasonable walking distance along with the local shop as well as nice walks down to the sea. It was also a great base for exploring the rest of the island by car.
Second - Cabin - It is compact but fully functional, extremely well equipped and very clean. You can see that attention to detail has been applied and the hosts (Steph and Russell) were and are keen to provide as many of the home comforts as practicable. We also had a sneak peek at the completed Yurt and one still being prepared. These look fantastic and we would most certainly consider booking one of these if we return to the island in future. We didn't realise that glamping could get that upmarket! Nothing really - thoroughly enjoyed the short stay.
