Wir hatten großes Glück mit nur einem weiteren Paar das ganze Grundstück für uns alleine zuhaben. Dir Zimmer sind schön und chic eingerichtet. Es gibt mehr als genug Auswahl an Getränke. Wir waren rund um zufrieden 👍🏻 Je nachdem was man vor hat könnte die Lage evtl. zu abseits sein, aber wenn man Ruhe möchte ist man dort genau richtig

Kosich (9/5): Surprisingly very spacious suite. - This was a last minute decision to stay an extra night in Palm Springs after a work conference at a nearby hotel (fully booked for the weekend). A quick online search helped us find this spot and the price was right. Check-in was all done online and there's no one (on staff) to greet you when you arrive, which I was totally fine with. The room was surprisingly spacious with a full sitting room, kitchen area and a king size bed. There was a separate rear door with an outdoor table and a relief area for our dog. The bathroom was very clean and updated with a spiffy mirror that lit from behind. The pool was nice and the other guests were friendly and respectful. The cleaning crew came mid-morning and they were very friendly. If you're a no-fuss traveler and no frills traveler, I would recommend this place. I'll definitely be back!

Taylor (6/5): Nice, but nothing special and a bit further down the road from the main area than expected. - The pool and setup were nice, also liked the Japanese toilet. The floors are concrete in the room so unless you have slippers it feels a bit cold/dirty. Also in the bathroom they had Le Labo soaps that were custom for the hotel, but clearly refilled them with generic soap instead. Which is fine, but just wasn’t what was being advertised in the dispenser. It looked more premium than it is. The bottle said it was made in 2023 and was Santal 33 which I know the smell of, and this was unscented generic soap. Not the hotels fault but we thought it would be closer to the main area of Palm Springs than it was, we still had to drive and find parking.

Jean (8/5): Disappointing because of location but a comfortable room. - Nice little pool. Comfortable bed In the advertisement it says it is downtown. But in fact it was 2 miles out. That fooled us because we wanted to be downtown. This motel was right across the street from one we stayed in a month before and we had specifically looked for closer in. Disappointing; and the other one was cheaper and had a better pool plus a restaurant.

And … the pool area couldn’t be more inviting… just loved it!! Traveled w/a slightly handicapped family member. Just a suggestion in bathroom - a rubber bath mat for shower - was a little slippery/floor & some kind of hand bar to grip onto in shower. //Couldn’t find a plunger. Had an issue w/toilet not flushing. Maintenance arrived the next morning right on time and he was delightful. . Very friendly and took care of the issue within 10 minutes. We may have been able to resolve if we had one.

Cynthia (5/5): Adequate for a nights sleep but would not stay again. - The hotel has the potential to be very lovely. Small, quaint and sweet pool area. Very quiet. As a traveler after a long day, I was not aware of the check-in instructions and felt frustrated that I had to fill out something online, upload documents such as drivers license, etc. in order to get a room assignment and room code. I don’t check emails while in the road. There should have been text message or booking.com messaging instead of finding out from someone lounging near the pool. Another couple after us had the same issue. While I appreciated the style of the room it was cold rather than cozy. Snack bar was non/existent while beverages were plentiful. Just too tired to hunt for places nearby to eat. Not impressed with the general area.

Stephen (9/5): Overall would come back. Rooms are good. Just lock your doors - Short distance to Palm Canyon Drive, which is nice. It’s across the street from the methadone clinic. There’s no staff on site, so be prepared to text. They are fast though to respond.

Great back patio and dog friendly. Would be nice to have the back patio gated off from the other room’s back patio patios. There is a barrier, but then an opening where other people’s dogs could come into your section section.

The staff, especially the caretaker, were very friendly and helpful. It was kind of expensive. We did not like the concrete floor. The kitchen was not well equipped for cooking. It did have a microwave and a coffee maker.

Nice common area and pool, the property is not big, but the room are well insulated, and have tinted windows for privacy. We also appreciated the dog friendly environment. We actually ended up extending our stay because we didn't want to leave! Highly recommended.

I would add a large area rug under the couch and coffee tablet to break up the tile floor and add texture and warmth to the room. It will significantly increase the comfort and decrease the industrial feel of the building materials.

Bed was very uncomfortable, didn't realize that this site was handled remotely with no facility staff other than housekeeping so everything is done through texting -I prefer speaking to someone face to face, Not a lot of instruction upfront but we figured it out, walls very thin - you can hear everything happening next door or outside, and finally though the room was larger than most, lacked a lot of charm or warmth-felt more like staying in someone's garage then a motel. To each his own

Shelley (10/5): Fall in love with The cactai - I cannot say enough good things about The Cactai. This place is absolutely beautiful and the rooms are clean, really well appointed, and spacious. I had a couple things I needed help with and the owners were extremely responsive and friendly. The pool area is immaculate and quiet and the location is so close to great coffee and food. This is the perfect solo retreat and I’d recommend it to anyone!

Kevin S (2/5): - First and foremost this isn’t your typical hotel where there’s a front desk. If you need anything you have to “text a number.” I had an incident where I was provided with the code to the front door and my room at approx 2:30 pm on Friday 8/15 and I had booked the room til 8/17. After I had came into the room, I was in there for no more than 5 minutes when I had used the restroom to pee and upon flushing the toilet, there was a leak in one of their pipes which caused an explosion of water and led to flooding my bathroom. After I had experienced this I had flagged down the cleaners and they said they would have to contact their boss to “see what they can do.” After that I had reached out to the number provided for guests and spoke with Monty via text and told him about the situation. He then states he is unable to move me and the best he could do was to have them clean the bathroom. The fact that the hotel is fully booked is out of his control and I totally understand that. What really upset me was that instead of trying to make the situation better when I had asked for some sort of compensation for the inconvenience he states that he allowed me to have “early check in” when check in was at 3 and he had allowed me to check in at 230 when again, he sent me the code for the room I did not ask for it. And then to make things worse when I had asked again for some sort of compensation he states I could have ONE item from the minibar. Terrible customer service. Would not recommend.

Mauricio (10/5): - The Cactai was a great choice for a taste of Palm Springs and for a relaxing stay. The boutique hotel is fully updated and perfectly designed. We enjoyed not only our room but the pool and spa as well. Joel and Jacob were quick to respond to our needs and accommodating in every way. We highly recommend The Cactai to everyone traveling to PS. Mauricio&Bill

Eric (7/5): Quiet boutique hotel. - The property was clean, quiet, and had a nice pool. The room had a funny smell. We purchased a deodorizer to help eliminate the odor. The location is not walkable to restaurants or other attractions.
Leeann (9/5): Exactly what we like and needed - Really cute and quality amenities. Loved having our dogs and a back patio. We had traveled all day from Mexico and just wanted to cook a meal and shower. Definitely plan to come back next year and stay a bit longer. The location is great as it's just off the main street. And quiet. Needed a pan to boil pasta. Had to use a skillet. 😝
