Guest Reviews
- Vanya (6/5): - Good location and clean room Really small room
Damp with the shower in there
- GEORGE (6/5): - N/a No breakfast

- 珈瑜 (10/5): - 對國外顧客非常友好,不會英文的我在這裏都是舒服的
- AureDulce (7/5): Comfortable Stay and Accesible - The location of the hotel is amazing. Just a 3 minute walk to Exit 1 of Havelock MRT and right across the hotel is the bus stop. Everything was accessible (eg, Tiong Bahru market, 7 Eleven). The receptionist and housekeeping was attentive, friendly and helpful. Only one functional elevator. Maybe due to active renovation. There was no bidet in the toilet. The amenities like shower gel and shampoo could have been in a refillable form instead of the "use once and discard" Its not enough too for a a family of 3. I understand can ask for more but it would save the guests hassle. Get better pillows too. Its too thin and no support. Also, I would recommend to install vanity mirror in the room for guests.
- RODGER (7/5): -
- Trina (5/5): - Location - Good. Convenient and accessible.
Room - Fair. Breakfast - No buffet served.
- Igor (8/5): Quiet location and helpful staff, but short beds - The hotel is located in a quiet area in the Tiong Bahru district, which makes it a pleasant place to stay away from the busy city center. At the same time, it is still quite convenient for exploring Singapore, with MRT stations within walking distance and easy access to Chinatown and other parts of the city.
The room size was comfortable and adequate, especially considering Singapore standards. The staff were also very helpful and friendly, which made the stay more pleasant. The beds were quite short, which may be uncomfortable for taller guests.

- Daniël Maurits (5/5): - Noisy. Very rudimentary basic Totally empty. Zero atmosphere
- Stephen (8/5): Great location, friendly staff! - The location was perfect and central to get to everywhere in Singapore. Many eateries around, MRT just across the road. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. We accidentally left a gadget in the room, we were notified and it was returned it to us promptly. Slightly dated and rooms were very basic.
- Soeren (6/5): - Location location location.
Very nice and helpful staff and Aircon is very comfortable. Very bad layout of the rooms.
Light switches and power points are in the center of the headboard of the bed, so you accidentally switch on the light in the middle of the night.
On the wall it is too far away to use the kettle, unless you unplug the fridge on the floor to use the kettle instead..
Hot water in shower only lasts 5 minutes
- Radim (8/5): - Blízko stanice metra Velikost pokoje

- STAUSEEFA (7/5): A comfortable room at a reasonable price to put up in Singapore. - There was no in house restaurant or breakfast in the hotel.
- Russell (7/5): Perfect - Spent most of our time out and about only came back at night to sleep. Conveniently located between Havelock and Outram MRT. Oh and the beds are comfortable Rooms a little bit small but aay it’s better than shared accommodation

- Annabel (8/5): Enjoyed my week’s stay at Link, a good location and a smaller scale hotel. Great location for visiting family living in - Good location, near characterful heritage buildings, close to the Havelock MRT, food court, cafes, and within walking distance of the Tiong Bahru Plaza MRT also. Room size may seem small to some and it was a little dated but clean, air-conditioned and regularly stocked with toiletries, clean towels and bedding. Website is clear that it’s not purpose built, being converted from two social housing blocks. I found the staff friendly and helpful, they quickly sorted a problem I had getting the television to work. Link advertises as a boutique hotel, but beyond the lobby area It would be great to see a few traditional objects and updated pictures around the communal areas.
The room design makes the most of limited space, after all this is a conversion not a new build, but this is not a place to stay if you expect western style wardrobes, drawers etc and have a massive suitcase. (I didn’t have a lot of luggage, and managed with the hangers on the wall).
It was disappointing to find the roof top bar was closed very recently, but staying there for a week it’s clear that outside weekends TB is a quiet suburban residential community area, and if you want somewhere more lively it’s not far to pop on the MRT to go to find it.
Likewise if the hotel can no longer offer in-house catering or breakfast, make a point out of information in the rooms suggesting local places to get some for those not familiar with the area. There’s a lovely branch of Toastbox just up the road.
- Cha (6/5): Good location and 2 mins walk to MRT - Location is good and 2 minutes walk to MRT (Metro station). Room is small. There are no facilities in this hotel (i didn't see any facilities). There are no breakfast. The lobby looks nice other than this, it's just a really basic hotel.
- Graham (7/5): The room was quite expensive for what it was, but that was most likely because of the Grand Prix. - Hotel was close to MRT station. The room was very Basic. Only one uncomfortable chair.
- Jusni (10/5): Pleasant. - Walking distance to Singapore General Hospital, Tiong Bahru Market, bus stops and Havelock MRT Station.
- Wei (8/5): all good - all well nothing
- Jesse (7/5): A wonderful stay for the purpose we traveled. - Close to food market and hospital. Bit of noise from other rooms.
- Wei (7/5): overall ok - all gd nothing
- Pauline (8/5): Very good - Simple and clean.
- Jeanind (9/5): Superb -
- Leong (6/5): Pleasant -
- Zara (4/5): Disappointing -
- Lisa (6/5): Pleasant - The hotel was a reasonable cost and was good The bed had a really hard mattress so it was very uncomfortable. The rooms are very noisy from other guests in the corridor returning and talking loudly. The room itself was clean and we have no complaints

- Michelle (8/5): Very good - Hotel was clean; staff were very friendly and always very helpful. fantastic location for MRT & buses no use of stairs for somebody that doesn’t like lifts!

- Andrew (6/5): Pleasant -
- Barry (7/5): Great location! Close to transport and food outlets! A little dated but clean and comfortable. - Fantastic location, close to transport (it was so easy to get around by bus and MRT) and less than 200m walk to an excellent hawker centre (Tiong Bahru) and some great restaurants! Reymond on the front desk was very friendly and helpful, as was everyone else on staff that we encountered. The bed was much firmer than we are used to (but that may have helped my back 😂) and it seemed a bit short. I am only 165cm and my toes were hanging over the end when sleeping on my stomach but that is probably because of the way I sleep forward on my pillows. It’s probably a standard double bed only. Would have liked a wardrobe to hang clothes. No iron but one was brought up when I asked. Telephone didn’t seem to work, so we had to go down to reception to request anything. Staff forgot to service our room 2 days in a row but quickly rectified this when I asked about it. There was no powerpoint near where the kettle was so we had to place the kettle on a chair. A narrow table here would be a good idea, as would a mirror (the only mirror was in the bathroom and no outlet there for hair dryer). Could do with a powerpoint at each bedside table, not just one. Gym and laundromat were not available - possibly a carry over from the Covid pandemic. Hotel is a little dated but it was generally clean and we would stay here again in a bigger room, perhaps.
- Khan (10/5): Exceptional - The room was spacious and very comfy ! Definitely will come back again
- Solongo (5/5): n - close yo everywhere must give enough waters for customers. only 2 small bottles not enough. daily limit is only 2 bottles. 1 bottle is 330 or 350ml. This is the hot and wet country. people need to have a water aware of hydranic
- Hock (7/5): Good -
- Wai (7/5): Good enough for what you pay - Hotel that, at it's price range, gives a guest all that he needs. The location gives you good access to food from morning breakfast to late night supper within walking distance. Hotel staff is friendly and tries hard. Little bits of tardiness, such as not having a toilet roll. Certain small items, toilet roll holder, has seen better days and needed a change. Television is a tad small, given that in the bigger rooms, guests lying in bed will be a good few meters from the tele.
- Ross (7/5): Good -
- Raju (5/5): Passable -
- Arrabelle (8/5): Very good -
- Sumayah (8/5): Very good -
- Idham (8/5): Very good -
- Steven (6/5): Pleasant -
- Clare (6/5): Link Hotel - Staff very friendly and helpful, local area was nice for cafes and also had late night chinese food. No problem with getting taxi. Room was a good size. Housekeeping staff were good. Room was on the main road side but no problems with traffic noise. Air con available and room temperature was comfortable. Overall aspect was tired, room lacked decor and character. Gym was unavailable during our stay but no other alternatives were offered by the hotel, eg guest pass at local gym. No wardrobe or drawers in the room. Bed was hard although not uncomfortable - this might be a problem for some people. Small bathroom. No soft lighting
- Danyal (8/5): Everything was perfect. I love and enjoyed my stay. The WIFI should definitely be improved. - The room was extremely clean. The staff was extremely responsive. Really enjoyed my stay there. The Wifi was extremely bad. My room got 1 or 2 Signals. To do anything productive i had to shift to my mobile phone data.
