Guest Reviews
Such a peaceful environment and I was treated like family 🫶🏻
Niets...prijs kwaliteit verhouding was uitstekend.
- Pascoe (9/5): Quite, beautiful place to stay and healing. - The breakfast was simple and delicious typically Balinese village foods. I love it! The staff and the owner very helpful treat you as family. I will recommend it. The journey to get this place it's worth it. From the front of the property required a long walk a bit trouble if brings a big suitcases. Overall excellent place to hide away and enjoy the nature beauty a village Jatiluwih.
- David (6/5): Good but would not recommend for an older person, - It is a beautiful location!..with a natural swimming pool! Nowhere in the information provided was i told that my bathroom was 5m seperate from the room
On the second night I had a serious attack of ants in my bed! When reporting this in the morning the owner was not the slightest bit interested!
Breakfast was as usual in guest houses poor with very low quality white bread with the sandwich...egg sandwich and fruit I do not consider breakfast...No tea or coffee making in the room
For me it was overpriced,

- Christopher (10/5): Beautiful place that is well worth the money - the place is absolutely beautiful, secluded, the host very friendly and relaxed - there was a very nice little stream with little waterfalls.
Rice fields, little ponds, pretty grass, good hosts. the pool was natural (no chemicals) and it had a layer of algae covering the bottom and was I didn't like swimming for long in it.
- Catherine (9/5): - Beautiful garden, peaceful, wonderful helpful owners and staff The family room shared WC and bathroom and the open bedroom were lacking in privacy

- Autumn (10/5): - The location is perfect for Batukaru temple and there is a village within walking distance. It was really cold at night. I recommend asking for extra blankets.

- akgb (9/5): Great nature/eco-friendly homestay just outside Jatiluwih - Superfriendly and helpfull owner & staff.
Good breakfast by local standards.
Rien
- Anna (10/5): - The accommodation is set in a beautiful garden, and the family is incredibly friendly. You can also have meals there for an extra charge, and scooters are available for rent at 100k per day. Since it’s surrounded by nature, there are a few animals around — but they didn’t bother us.

- Marva (10/5): Megical stay in the heart of nature 🦋 - I can wholeheartedly say this is the most special place I’ve ever stayed.
Rice terraces transformed into a stunning, well-tended garden with a few cottages, each one completely private, surrounded by nature and the gentle sound of flowing water everywhere.
The only noise you’ll hear is the forest!
The room is simple, with large windows overlooking the view.
The family takes care of everything with kindness and love, always with a smile and true generosity of spirit.
The food is excellent and abundant, and it’s clear that everything is made with love - from the garden’s care to every grain of rice on the plate.
There’s a private stream you can bathe in, and plenty of nearby trails to explore.
The scenery is breathtaking and the area feels truly authentic. It's perfect
- Benguerbi (8/5): Absoluut serenity, expect adventure, nature and a lovely staff with great cooking skillls - I loved sleeping under the jungle sounds. The staff was utterly kind and always treated me with their home cooked Pisang goreng. ( fried banana ). Very tasty! After coming from Ubud a completely came to peace I had to pluck some grasshoppers from my clambou. But that’s what you get in a ecolodge 🤣
- Elise (10/5): Pretty - This place is so peaceful and so relaxing in the middle of the green nature. I really liked to wake up in the morning with daylight and field view. They really did an amazing job to make you feel so welcome. The hosts are so lovely people and very familiar, they will help you with everything you need. The breakfast is excellent and I tried for the first time pisang goreng (fried banana) the best in my opinion. I could also use a motorbike to go to jatiluwih rice fields it is only 20 min driving
- Anne (10/5): Hidden secluded gem...a bit out of the "way" Amazing retreat - This is OUT of the way and secluded. Probably not the best place for kids who want activity..but an AMAZING retreat..this is a hidden gem. Must walk to property a distance so one must be capable Nothing
- Remy (10/5): A real immersion in nature, a very calm and relaxing place to stay with a Balinese family. The hosts are lovely and cook - A real immersion in nature, a very calm and relaxing place to stay with a Balinese family. The hosts are lovely and cook very well with produce straight from their garden. They are very generous and welcoming.
I really recommend this little hidden gem.
- Jasmin (10/5): Exceptional - Place is wonderful and serene! The Staff is really supporting to get around (meals, scooter, guide, car drive). This accomodation helped me connect with balinese culture as they offer activities that help you understand the country. I felt very kindly cared for and would recommend the place. Hopefully I can go back :) Nothing.
- Antony (10/5): Exceptional - This was a real find. A genuine eco lodge, where they grow their own food and encourage you to appreciate their land and its produce - rice, fruit and coffee. It's stunningly beautiful, and excellent value for money. We would definitely go back again. Loved it.
- Shelley (4/5): Friendly family place. Good hospitality but a little bit lacking if amenities especially since the pool was noticeable - Location, staff super friendly and helpful. Loved the dinner and breakfast. Gardens are nice. More like “glamping. The pool was not useable which would have been nice to use. If you are afraid or “critters” not the place for you.
- Boyer (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tóth (10/5): Best place to stay in the nature and avoid touristy places - Everything. Kind local family, nice pool with amazing view. In the nature, so chill and calm.
- Sergey (10/5): Ooh, nice place. Amazing view. The owner and his team are very friendly. We enjoyed it very much 😻 - Gorgeous views
Great quiet area
- The (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing view from my bungalow
The staff was very sweet and accommodating It's a bit far from the center
- Joshua (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful location, the best people there! And delicious home-made food.
- Gaby (8/5): Very good - A lovely family-run business where you get what you pay for. The hospitality was warm and welcoming, and they prepared a delicious dinner and breakfast for us. A simple but enjoyable stay with a personal touch!
- Jennifer (6/5): Pleasant -
- Mathilde (9/5): Superb - The garden is really nice, far from the crowd but near Jatiluwih.
The family is friendly and here to help. Maybe a sheets bed will be better for the hygiene, we used our own sleeping bag liner.
Food is limited (no menu) but good 😉
- Louise (8/5): Taken as a property without a pool it’s perfect. - Fabulous gardens, home cooking and lovely owners. I don’t think the owner uses chemicals in the pool which is laudable, but the water was murky - didn’t like the look of it.
- Marie-neige (9/5): I loved that place! - I absolutely LOVED this place!
In the middle of nature, wild animal sounds, peaceful atmosphere, kind staff, nice food, just GREAT!
Swimming pool with rice field view, nice typical and simple cottage, simple things are the best! The swimming pool was not that clean but they do not use any treatment so that may explain it. And the owner cleaned it the day I left :)
There was a mouse in my cottage. It did not really bothered me, but as the place is really in the nature, this is the "risk".

- Patrizia (10/5): Beautiful and quiet place surrounded by stunning nature - The space is beautiful and quiet and surrounded by stunning nature. Wayune the owner is a very nice person. I’ll definitely recommend this place!
- Georgie (9/5): Superb - I loved how connected to nature you are. I was looking for an escape from the traffic of Canngu so it was perfect. The grounds are beautiful...the setting is stunning. You feel like you're lost in nature.
- Jean (10/5): Hidden Gem in the middle of ricefields - I was supposed to sleep in Munduk but after a bike accident I decided to stop there. By chance, I discovered a beautiful heaven place. There are three different bungalows hidden in the middle of Ricefields with a stunning view on it from the pool. I slept in the 40 m² Bungalow which was super comfort. You feel lost in the middle of nowhere as if the time has stopped.
But even if the place is really nice, what it makes this place magical is its owner! he took care of me as if I was a friend,He cooked me a delicious meal and even a gave me a oil massage on my broken elbow, This guy was probably the most friendliest that I met during my trip
- Noah (10/5): Nice place in nature! - - Nice place, very quiet in nature

- Tim (10/5): Exceptional - This is a magical place with an amazing host. It’s a peaceful garden created in the rainforest. Wayan treats his guests like family so the experience of staying there is something like nowhere else. If you like peace, and nature then this is for you.
- Iva (8/5): Very good - The accomodation is in middle of nowhere. So peacfull place with no people around. Supe choice if you want to stay out of city.
The garden is really huge and beautifull.
