Guest Reviews
- Helen (8/5): Beautiful house in great location - Beautiful location. Lovely house very spacious and well equipped. Comfy beds. Owner very accommodating when needed to speak to her and did everything possible do sort things There were a few little things that need attention like loose toilet seat in shower room and a few broken items but I'm aware there were some unsavoury guests previously who had disrespected the property. Nothing that can't be easily remedied
- Darren (8/5): Great house in amazing location - Location, size and cleanliness. Well-specced with top quality appliances. Separate washing machine and dryer were really useful. Internet isn't great. Not really suitable for remote working or streaming. It appears to be only a cellular/mobile router.

- Fotheringham (7/5): Comfortable accommodation with superb view but garden equipment needing replacing. - The view was superb, from the decking area. House very comfortable, with all mod cons. Good WiFi and tvs in all rooms. The outside hadn’t been looked after, and didn’t look like the photos on website. The outdoor heater and parasols were all broken. The fire pit was a rust bucket, full of water. BBQ area and pizza oven was very dirty.
- Jobin (7/5): -
- Karon (7/5): Nice location. Nice house. Attention to detail needs to improve. Particularly outside was quite unkempt, and damaged it - Location views were amazing. The kitchen is well
Equipped with utensils etc. laundry facilities. Bedding and towels provided along with toilet paper etc The amount of items that were broke, wobbly or just in poorer condition than portrayed on the advert

- Stephanie (6/5): - Great location, generally well presented house. Lovely area and has real potential to be a fantastic stay. Could have done with a more thorough clean throughout. Dirty dishes, dust and a full tub of fag ends at front door. Whilst it is 4 bedrooms, it would be more suitable for 6 adults plus 2 children rather than 8 adults. Garden furniture clearly left out over winter and was very dirty.
Safety concern over issues with front door locking/unlocking and this being a key fire exit as well as unlocking windows. Host did attempt to fix through sending videos but didn't resolve the issue.
- romina (10/5): Incredible house - Beds, comfort, views, spatious, everything was amazing Wi-fi connection was bad sometimes

Excellent location and views

- Dilip K (10/5): Highly spacious and comfortable, offering great value for the three days stay. - An exceptional property, huge amount of interior space, great garden area, great scenic view, tranquil location, amenities availability was great and oN/Ane of the best properties I have booked and stayed at. N/A.
- Grant (10/5): Super comfortable home away from home! - I have been back a week so I apologize for my overdue review. We had an amazing trip to Scotland and we loved our stay at the Gleddoch Coach House, it suited our needs perfectly. The house is in a very private and unique location, not far from the airport and a great home base for exploring the west side of Scotland. The house is super cute, clean and well equipped. If you need any help the Host and housekeeper are very responsive. We were a party of three (me, my wife and my father) so the house was much larger than we needed but the extra bathroom was a must for us for privacy. I dont have anything bad to report, This was a great choice for our trip and I would hope we would be welcome back if we are ever blessed enough to return to Scotland.
- Tammy (10/5): Such a wonderful surprise to relax and soak in some nature. - Amazing peaceful setting. Nothing
- Mclean (9/5): - Amazing house lots of room for our family and was a great location with great views.
- Karen (10/5): Stayed as a group, would stay again - Stunning house with beautiful decor. Secluded spot and incredible views. Comfortable beds, well equipped house. The electric car charger didn’t work.
No window covering for downstairs bathroom.
- Katie (7/5): - Great location close to Glasgow city centre and near friends we wanted to visit. Spacious house with well equipped kitchen and good sized bedrooms. Peaceful with lovely views over the River Clyde. A few minor maintenance issues which have hopefully now been resolved for other guests.
- Craig (10/5): The house is amazing with stunning views we will definitely be booking back again - The amazing views, and how big and comfortable the house was Nothing
- Joanne (10/5): -
- jayne (10/5): - Fantastic location. Lovely cottage that had everything we needed. Will definitely return. Everything was great
- Elaine (9/5): -
- Vanessa (10/5): Idyllic stay in a beautifully decorated property - Immaculately clean, modern and spacious Nothing
- Katarzyna (10/5): -
- Stuart (10/5): Exceptional - My family and I (from Australia) had the most wonderful time at the coach house. The home was perfect for our three generations. Somehow, it suited us all no matter whether you were all together or needed time on your own.
The space for us all to be together was amazing. We had picture perfect weather and had a firepit to enjoy the beautiful nights. The three grandkids had loads of room to play soccer or just investigate the wildlife, which was all around in abundance. This has been one of our best experiences ever together as a family on holiday, and I am so very grateful.
The house had absolutely everything that we needed (and more)
I would highly recommend the Gleddoch Coach House to anyone considering staying in this area. You will not be disappointed.
- Natalie (9/5): Superb - Really enjoyed our stay! We were a group of 8 adults and there was more than enough space & facilities were brilliant
- Sarah (8/5): Family holiday - Very spacious property with great outdoor space and amazing views. We did have a lot of problems with the TV reception in the lounge even when the router was moved out of the hall and into the lounge. Toilet seat downstairs was sliding off and the shower collected a lot of water very quickly. Couldn't seem to get the coffee grinder to work (though this may have been due to my unfamiliarity with the machine) and there was a used filter left in the coffee machine by a previous guest. This is a minor issue but not really something I would expect to find.
- Val (10/5): Central location for family meet up - Central location to meet up with family for celebrating a special birthday. Size of property with good outside space to relax and for our dog. Cooker not fully working so some difficulty in cooking for large group. Lacking as in no utensils for using BBQ. Major concern though was no keys for window locks as they are a means of escape in case of fire as stated in fire policy document. Drainage very slow in downstairs shower.
- John (9/5): Superb -
- Louise (9/5): Superb - Location and views are perfect! Easy to control the heating with the manual radiators. Guest manual with easy instructions on how to use things/local take aways etc etc
Very quiet and peaceful although very close to local shops and villages! We used the fire pit and outdoor space 2 nights and had a great time! It had everything we needed, will hopefully be back soon!
- Derek (10/5): Perfect place to relax and unwind - Amazing.
- Francesco (10/5): Exceptional - We loved the house perfect in everything and perfect location for our holiday Nothing
- David (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jessica (10/5): Exceptional - Gorgeous house in a beautiful setting! Highly recommend. How has everything you may need for a big group traveling together. Host always available if need anything. Would stay again if in the area
- Lorraine (8/5): Good location, large property, lovely views - Location, views, size, cleanliness. Some things missing in the kitchen which the host acknowledged and has since replaced.
Height above the bath in upstairs bedroom

- Tej (10/5): Exceptional -
- Israr (10/5): Exceptional - location, equipment in the house. property interior. internet could have been better. hot water was little annoying but not problem at all.
the toilet drainage was poort. water used to gather in showers and sinks.
- Wendy (9/5): Team building weekend - The house is stunning, well decorated and all high-end facilities, no expense spared. The location is ideal. Not far from Glasgow but far enough to feel like you're getting away. The master bed was so comfortable I didn't want to leave! Had a maintenance issue late at night and got a reply right away and the lovely maintenence guy arrived the next day. The cleaners were so lovely too, arrived just as we were leaving and were really chatty and kind, asking about our stay. We will be back highly recommended.
- Nicola (10/5): Our stay was a dream and we made special memories with our children and family. The house really was beyond our expectat - Spacious, clean, cosy! The curtain in the bathroom was transparent. Although the property is private, it felt strange showering.
The tv in the living room was difficult to work. Followed instructions but then there was no sound. Too many remotes and a little complicated. Other tv’s were fine so it was not an issue.
- Colin (10/5): Gleddoch coach house new year - It's was a lovely house in a nice quiet location with stunning views, ideal for 2 families over new year it had everything in it and it was very cosy we will definitely be back maybe plan a summer trip to make use of the BBQ/pizza oven in the garden

- Mark (4/5): Disappointing, felt host was more concerned with being 'right' than whether we had enjoyed the stay - Beautiful house, lovely views and handy location We had issues during out stay, with no hot water and general maintenance
Reported to host to try to avoid neg review, she was unhelpful and seemed only concerned to try and prove us wrong.
- Tracey (10/5): Exceptional - Very quiet, private location

- Catriona (9/5): Had lovely stay although my friend got tick bite in downstairs bedroom . He thinks it mig - The bedroom
Upstairs hard to get in out left side due to the sloping ceiling .
- Steven (10/5): Wonderful property and location, I loved it all! -
- Asif (9/5): Superb - Location and cleanliness.
- Katherinewalker (10/5): Stunning hidden Gem. - The location, hidden away and stunning views Absolutely nothing. Incredible. Stunning. Incredible location. Incredible value.
- Megan-kathleen (10/5): We had 6 adults and 2 dogs staying for the weekend, fabulous stay! - Stunning property with luxury items throughout
- Patnala (10/5): Exceptional - Everything.
- Benedikte (9/5): A spacious and special property, highly recommended - This is a really special place. The house is charming and comfortable, well appointed with everything you could possibly need, and in a gorgeous setting with lots of privacy. Two particular bonuses were the size of the rooms (actually much bigger than they look in the pictures), and the amount and variety of outdoor space. The outside seating areas and garden furniture are really well thought through for enjoying the lovely views, and there's lots of enclosed space, which is great for those with dogs or young children. You would never guess you were so close to a major city. Also, Yvonne - the host - is so helpful. She had thought of everything to make our stay comfortable and relaxing.
- Martin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gary (10/5): Pristine, luxurious guest house in tranquil setting - The house was perfect in every way. Clean, luxuriously appointed, stunning setting and beautiful views. Private and peaceful. Way better than expected and worth every cent. Absolutely nothing
- Danielle (10/5): Exceptional - The house is beautiful and has all the amenities you need available to you. The views are amazing and we took every opportunity to sit on the decking area in the sunshine to enjoy the views of the mountains and Dumbarton rock. The communication with the host Yvonne was brilliant and we hope to come back soon. Thank you for such a lovely stay and we have already recommended to friends and family.
- Martin (10/5): An excellent location and a fabulous property. - We had such a lovely time at the Coach House. It was very clean and comfortable and beautifully decorated. Everything had been thought of and it was very well equipped.
The location is perfect and the views of the Clyde and Dumbarton Rock were beautiful, when it stopped raining!
- Adam (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was amazing!! Incredible house and amazing host!!
- Denis (10/5): Exceptional -
- Hayley (10/5): Great Stay! -
- Natasha (9/5): Superb -
- Henry (10/5): Perfection - This is honest the nicest place I’ve ever stay in, the views when you wake up in the morning are worth money, but the house itself it exceptional even down to the small details all the furniture is perfect and appliances are amazing, everything about this house is perfect, well worth a visit ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Nothing everything is perfect
