• Isabel (8/5): clean and well-located place for a short stay, with just a few details that could improve the experience. - My stay was only for one day, but I have to say it was very pleasant. The apartment was very clean and the online check-in process was simple and convenient. In the bathroom there is shampoo, shower gel, and a hairdryer. In the bedrooms, each bedside table has disposable earplugs in case there is too much noise (the location is very central, so that’s something to keep in mind), but in my case I honestly didn’t hear anything at all. The kitchen is fully equipped and they also leave a small kit with a sponge, dish soap, and a trash bag. There is centralized air conditioning, so the summer heat wouldn’t be a problem. The location is excellent — just a few steps away from restaurants, pubs, clubs, cafés, and many shops. La Malagueta is around a 25-minute walk away. If you’re travelling with kids or have reduced mobility, keep in mind that to get to the kitchen you need to go upstairs. It’s not the most convenient setup, but for a short stay it works perfectly fine. Another thing I noticed is that there isn’t a full-length mirror — all the mirrors are placed quite high. Having a long mirror where you can see yourself properly while getting ready would definitely be better. Also I didn’t like was that check-in was supposed to be at 3:00 PM, but I only received the access code at 4:00 PM. Which honestly wasn’t nice at all. After calling three times and still not receiving the access code, I was starting to worry that I had been scammed.

Affaccia su una strada del centro, al primo piano. Il rumore della gente in strada (ubriachi che urlano…) è stato fastidioso. Offrono dei tappi per le orecchie ma sarebbe stato meglio avessero investito in finestre adeguatamente isolanti. Per un disguido con le pulizie il check-in è stato 2h in ritardo.

• Dubravka (10/5): - We really enjoyed our stay in this apartment in the very center of Málaga. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. One of the highlights of our stay was Easter Sunday, when we were able to watch the procession directly from the balcony — a truly special and memorable experience. The location is perfect, right in the city center, with all main attractions, shops, and restaurants just a few minutes’ walk away. Check-in and check-out were fully online, but everything worked smoothly and without any issues. A nice bonus is the restaurant right next to the building, where you can enjoy a delicious and healthy breakfast. We would definitely choose this apartment again if we return to Málaga and highly recommend it. No negative comments.

The only, but quite significant problem was an incredibly strong smell. Strong smell, a mixture of sewage and chemicals that were probably supposed to overpower the smell. I almost threw up from this when walking through the corridor. It was really unbearable... it's a shame, because otherwise everything is perfect. (Also noise from the street, but that's completely understandable considering the location of the accommodation).

• Berta (8/5): Muy buena ubicación - La ubicación muy bien, cerca de la plaza de la constitución y de la calle Granada donde todos los bares y restaurantes, no es una calle con mucho bullicio, es zona peatonal y hay al lado un parking. Está todo nuevo. No hay recepción para dejar las maletas si llegas o sales tarde pero al lado hay un local de locker. Te dan un kit de estropajo, balleta, bolsa de basura y jabón para vajilla. Hay gel de baño y champú. En la cocina faltan sarten y cazo para poder usar la vitro. El suelo suena al andar incluso se oyen a los de arriba. La puerta del portal al cerrar da mucho portazo.

Pues que no se podía reservar parking en la zona y a nuestra llegada estaba todo lleno, y es un sitio de acceso peatonal, no puedes dejar el coche cerca ni para dejar las maletas. Que no dejan un mini kit para lavar la vajilla y no hay lavavajillas, y como era una estancia de un día no compramos nada. Ya que normalmente suelen dejar algo. Se quedó sin lavar el desayuno.

• Jane (8/5): Apart from difficulty getting a code to enter building, it was a convenient short stay place. - The location was good, room quiet, big bed, coffee machine. Good for a very short stay. What breakfast! I had difficulty with the tech which was necessary to get a code to enter the building and my room. A very helpful man (remotely) supported me. Thank you, but it wasn't easy! When I booked I hadn't realised there was no reception desk! A basic open fronted wardrobe.

There was a noise from the street (laughters, music) but as it was city center it was sth to be expected. It was not all the time though.

Doch der Abfluss-Geruch ist einfach ein no-go. - Es handelt sich hier um ein sehr schön saniertes Gebäude - und alles wäre auch super, wenn es (wie ich leider schon mehrmals in Malagas Altbauten erlebte) das Problem des absolut unererträglichen Geruchs wäre :/ Sonst: Komfortable Betten, gute Lage, schalldichte Fenster. Super für einen Kurzaufenthalt. Wir hätten es direkt ahnen müssen, als wir die Wohnung betraten und die Fenster geöffnet waren. Wir machten sie zu und gingen in die Stadt, nach der Rückkehr abends war der Abfluss-Gestank einfach unerträglich. Die Fenster über Nacht geöffnet zu halten war wegen des Lärms (zuerst Menschen, dann Müllabfuhr um 1-2 Uhr nachts) keine Alternative. Unsere Kinder wachten mit Kopfschmerzen auf. Die Verwaltung behauptete nach meiner Beschwerde, es müsse am Regen liegen… Well, schaut euch dann die Wetterprognosen an, sonst ist es unerträglich und keinen Cent wert.

We konden zelf inchecken en er konden via de app vragen gesteld worden. Houten luiken kunnen niet vastgemaakt worden als ze geopend zijn, dus als het waait, maakt dat geluid.

• IsaCDR (6/5): Bonito pero muy ruidoso - El piso es muy bonito, es céntrico (demasiado...). Está reformado y no hay ruido entre vecinos. La cama de la habitación era cómoda y el sofá para una persona está bien pero para dos, no. La ubicación : el piso está en pleno centro lo que puede ser genial si no hay DOS DISCOTECAS en la misma calle. Parece que la gente estaba en nuestra habitación....Gritos toda la noche hasta el desayuno, que hay una cafetería a unos metros....Cuando vas a Málaga de fiesta puede ser perfecto para tí pero si tienes una carrera el domingo y tienes que descansar, es lo peor que te puede pasar! 2 noches en vela por esas discotecas y los gritos....El sofá para dos se hundía y no era muy cómodo pero para una persona, estaba bien.

The online check-in process was extremely long and frustrating, and the website itself was not working properly. Relying entirely on a smart check-in system is a serious risk. If your phone is not charged, you have no way of entering the property. When we arrived at the apartment, the emergency door for the attic apartment was already open. From the beginning, it was clear that the lock was not working properly. We tried several times, but the door would not close or lock. We contacted the host about this issue, but the communication was very poor, and some of the responses felt dismissive. As a result, we had to sleep with the door open, which made us feel very unsafe. Guest security should always be a top priority. While the apartment is nicely decorated, it is missing many basic essentials. The heating was not working, and the main room with the stairs was extremely cold. We asked for clarification via WhatsApp but never received a response. The kitchen was also disappointing: there were no cloths to dry or clean glasses and plates, the coffee capsules provided did not fit the coffee machine, and the cooker was not working. Not even a bottle of water was provided in the fridge. For the price, I was expecting at least that. Overall, this stay was very frustrating and did not meet reasonable expectations in terms of comfort, communication, safety or value for money. The host’s behaviour was particularly disappointing, as we felt gaslighted and not taken seriously, both on the phone and via WhatsApp.

Longer walk to beach. - Nice set-up with 2 bedrooms on one floor and small living room and kitchen upstairs. Great for 2 adults and 2 children. The living room/kitchen area had poor seating for eating at a table. Proper table and comfortable chairs would have been nice.
