Guest Reviews
- Pete (5/5): It’s a good place for a long weekend away with little luggage - A very nice location and peaceful Cramped upstairs and uncomfortable
- Kat (9/5): One of the nicest places I have ever stayed and will definitely be back! - Tucked away along a quiet lane the set up was perfect. Designated parking spot, cabins angled to create privacy, super comfy bed, and all the things needed to have a lovely escape for a few days. The WiFi really didn’t want to work for me
- Georgia (10/5): Cute, comfy and secluded. a perf place for a gorgeous getaway. Defo recommend!!! - absolutely loved it here!!! The owner and his dogs are lovely and the vibe is lush. Feels super secluded- perfect for a little getaway. great little kitchen in the hut Perf for people who want to stay in. Bathroom was good with nice hot water. Beds are very comfy. Love the little private garden area as we brought our dog, he loved it! Overall 10/10. The only real issue we found was the lack of wifi/ signal so make sure to download a film or something if needed!!
- Owsianka (8/5): Cozy little cabin, good value, thank you! - Really enjoyed our stay, great little cabin. Good location if travelling by car. Very cosy room with a nice little patio area for breakfast. Great value and good experience overall. Thank you! Quite peacuful (though we were glad to have earplugs for the noisy cows - it is the coutryside afterall). It would have been nice to have a microwave or a little convection oven.
- Pavitra (9/5): -
- Lewis (10/5): Great - Everything!
- Sue (8/5): Much needed break in a quite location - Quite location Stairs were a bit challenging
- Towers (10/5): - All good
- Ellie (8/5): -
- Clare (10/5): Very enjoyable and comfortable - The location and the cosiness of the property . There was nothing we didn’t like about the property .
Could do with an ironing board and some hooks in the bathroom
- Melanie (9/5): Great place and would definitely visit again. - Lovely location and has everything you need. Great having a separate dog bin on the site as well. Unable to have the doors open in nice weather without restraining dogs as garden is at the side. Would be good to extend a smaller fence around the front to make it more secure for dogs.
- Sandra (10/5): The site was perfectly located in a peaceful and picturesque setting. We will definitely stay again! - Location was great to travel to historic places and villages. It was picturesque and peaceful.
- Charlie (10/5): Perfect for a weekend away - Lovely little cabin perfect for a weekend away. It has everything you need and is kept clean and tidy. Would definitely revisit. Only wish we could check in earlier to spend more time enjoying it.
- Samantha (6/5): We had a nice short break away from our kids so enjoyed the Cotswolds so much but wouldn’t return here - The property was cute in a nice location and lovely setting It’s wasn’t very clean cobwebs everywhere and I would say surfaces clean not clean behind things ! the upstairs sleeping area was so small no head hight whatsoever ever and it was just a mattress on the floor we arrived it was freezing had to turn heating right up and still was cold for our stay I feel like they could of heated it up a little more for the guests
- Alexandra (10/5): Lovely cabin - lovely surrounding d a very attractive host /owner nearby - easy access d good quality - Lovely and remote
- Robertson (10/5): - Me and my partner loved every minute of it. It was near everything and the surroundings was really good

- Daniel (10/5): -
- Keagan (10/5): Exceptionally beautiful - Loved the whole setup, everything about it was perfect N/A
- Hayley (10/5): Perfect romantic getaway - It was so beautiful and peaceful We stayed in IVY and the beds were on top a little close to the ceiling
- Andrew (10/5): Best two nights sleep Iv had in a long time - Very clean and comfortable. Nothing
- Lee (10/5): -
- ShaharDalia (7/5): Lovely place, but few corrections would have made our stay better - The cabin and the yard are beautiful and well-maintained. The beds are comfortble and the bed linen is of a high standard. The cabins and showers are clean, and the kitchen has enough pots/pans and cutlery. There was no wifi. The one they had was down, and the temporary one was intermittent to say the least. The host wasn't available; we had only conversed with the cleaning team.
The larger cabin - Nutmeg, had only one small radiator mounted on an internal wall, and it was freezing in there. Not all the light switches worked, especially the one that operated the lights outside, which made coming back in the darkness not pleasant. Even though they are charging £30 dog fees (which isnt part of the info on booking.com!) There were no dog-welcoming facilities (blankets, water bowls etc) - would have been appreciated. There was dog poo on the communal grounds that wasnt cleaned for the duration of our stay.
- Lynn (10/5): Great stay loved it - Loaction and cute accomadation
- kate (9/5): -
- Hollie (10/5): Amazing - Loved the quiteness and coziness of it but was also a home from home and the man that owned it made us very welcome invited us to see his puppies every morning helped with anything we needed
- Judith (8/5): OK - Location was perfect. Accommodation was clean and tidy. Bed very comfortable. Hosts did not reply to query about the TV not working. WiFi was terrible. It was cold and whilst there was hot water the heating never came on and I could not get any response from the hosts when I enquired about the TV not working.
- Sean (10/5): -
- Jemma (9/5): Peaceful, cosy, would visit again - Perfect location for visiting the Cotswolds. Set in the peaceful countryside next to a farm. So quiet at night and lovely to wake up to the sound of animals! Our cabin was private and not overlooked. Lovely little enclosed garden. Inside was super cosy and the beds super comfy! What a great night sleep! The cabin had everything we needed for two nights Loved it all but the Wi-Fi was not good while we were there
- Louise (9/5): Nice quiet couple of days - The location was perfect for what we needed. Close to places to visit , shops and pubs. The Wi-Fi was intermittent whole time , better to know beforehand so I could bring a book, jigsaw etc.
- Tiffany (9/5): -
- Jamie (10/5): -
- Mike (8/5): -
- Fran (8/5): -
- David (9/5): Lovely cute property - Cute and cosy Nothing
- Lisa (10/5): - I stayed in the Apple pod for 2 nights. Super clean, tidy, and had everything you need for our stay. The bed was comfy, towels were soft and the property was lovely and warm; check in was super easy too. The grounds were spotless, and the area was super quiet. You really felt relaxed and re-charged.
I'd definitely recommend to friends and family and I would 100% stay again. There was nothing I didn't like. That said, I would've loved a mini oven....
- Jessica (9/5): A great stay in a lovely relaxing cabin.just what was needed thank you - A perfect peaceful secluded location. A beautiful cabin with everything we needed.
The bed was comfortable and the linen clean and fresh.
We liked the self check in it made everything so easy. Hardly worth mentioning but slight noise from the yard next door, we thought the bins were being emptied on site a couple of times but not enough noise to inconvenience us.
If we are being picky the kitchen could do with prosecco glasses a jug and whisk. Pans and everything that was there was a high standard.
- Kathleen (10/5): Perfect location to get to Broadway , Stratford upon Avon - Everything was perfect
Perfect for 2 people and 1 sm dog Nothing to dislike
- susan (9/5): Lovely location, comfy and fun. - Quiet, pretty location. Clean and comfy. Trendy and fun. Bring shower gel.
- Neil (10/5): Lovely relaxing stay. - Quirky place to stay. Lovely quiet location. Saw and heard plenty of wildlife. Impecably clean. Highly recommend.
- Fiona (8/5): -
- Megan (8/5): Lovely atmosphere, super clean & perfect with a dog. Really fab stay. - Easy location for neighbouring towns.
Lovely atmosphere, well kept gardens & comfy beds. The floors are very creaky & 2 of the 4 dinner chairs were wobbly.
The sofa interior had collapsed and overall was uncomfortable.
- Emma (10/5): It exceeded our expectations. Such a beautiful hut in a lovely quiet location - We adored the hut itself. More spacious than what we were expecting. The shower was better than my home shower.. again, lovely and spacious.
- Debasish (6/5): Nice and good location but bedroom was difficult to access - Small clean The bedroom was difficult to access
- Katie (6/5): Pleasant - The location That the gate to the garden was on side of property so when letting dog out would be better if u can leave doors open so dog can come in and out freely but having to go outside top open the gate to let dog out each time was a pain and not being able to leave door open for a breeze as led right out to the main area if the site
- Vicki (10/5): Enjoyable and relaxing - Nice and quite Cooker was very slow
- Edward (8/5): Very good -
- Natalie (10/5): Fantastic last minute getaway for my birthday, cute little cabin in a beautiful area. Would definitely stay again. - Great location for site seeing around the Cotswolds. Lovely local pub, about a 30min walk, the Royal Oak. Great atmosphere, stunning views and lovely food!
- Abdullah (8/5): Very good - Amazing location. Beautiful
- Paul (1/5): Bad - Could not accept our late booking as 24 hours notice is required No where when booking with booking .com does it say that 24 hours notice is required .
- Caron (9/5): Lovely place for a short weekend break - Comfortably furnished, cosy, well equipped and clean accommodation with a parking space for each cabin. The location was good, quite close to all attractions by car. The WiFi kept on dropping in/out. The hot water supply wasn't hot enough (lukewarm). The information binder in the property wasn't correct, it was geared up for the cottages on site, not the cabins, and didn't explain about how the heating worked (heating was different in cabins to what was explained in the info binder); we figured it out in the end, but we couldn't put it on a timer.
- Tanya (6/5): Lots of moo’s with no views and very basic - Bed was very comfy There was no views
It was very basic
Paid for valentines usually hosts would leave a complimentary welcome to make it more memorable
Even put some kind of decor to personalise it being an occasion
But it was a room view lots of mooing from cows but no views like photos showed
No access to WiFi contacted the number given and was told that no one else has brought this issue up and they were no help at all!
- Jasmine (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful, would definitely visit again ☺️
- Tanya (7/5): Only thing it was abit dirty - It nice chilled it was nice having chilled stay Anything really
- Leonnie (10/5): Gorgeous, cosy stay! - Had everything we needed for a cosy stay. Perfect to bring the dog as well. Nothing!
- Sophie (7/5): 9/10 would recommend - The cabin was lovely. Much bigger than it looks! Very clean and the bed was so comfy. Highly recommend this for a weekend stay! The only downside was that the cabin was pretty cold! I mean we did stay in the middle of December though it may have been nice to have the cabin warm for arrival?
The heating wasn’t on a timer so the bathroom was very cold!
- Paul (10/5): Fantastic location for walks and the Cotswold way. Lots of beautiful villages and open land. - Location. It was next door to a cow farm? The cows were pretty noisy through the night and the smell outside was what you expect next to a cow shed lol
- Alejandro (10/5): Exceptional -
- Chloe (10/5): Worth the money!! - The property was amazing! Better than photos and the location was spot on as well. The only thing I would say is, when it does dark you needed lights to enter your lodge and that would have made it perfect!
- Ian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Maarten (8/5): Really nice place for a weekend breakaway. - Tiny but comfortable. And well equipped. Some mould in the bathroom. And footpath lights not working when we arrived in pitch dark.
- Tin (5/5): Management very messy but beautiful cabins. - Very nice facilities. Beautiful decor. Basic needs met. There was a huge mix up and we were assigned the wrong cabin. The wrong cabin wasn’t cleaned and we had to call up the customer service and be given the correct cabin it was very inconvenient. Then the person who was assigned to our cabin knocked on our door during dinner saying they were supposed to be in our cabin. Turns out our booking was swapped. I had to call customer service again for the nice couple as they didnt have cell service. I had to help them into their cabin which was not my job. Their website also said that there would be oil, salt and pepper but there were none. It was a good stay but management was very messy, at least they apologised.
- Med (10/5): Comfortable and clean accommodation. Beautiful villages and walks to explore. - Comfortable and clean accommodation with parking available. We enjoyed evening meals in Winchcombe. Lovely Cotswold villages to explore and beautiful walks.
- Gavin (10/5): Exceptional - Very cosy cabins well furnished and private An oven would have been handy for cooking
- Bertram (10/5): Very beautiful place, very clean and tidy. A little bit hidden and tucked away from the main street. - The location, the hut itself, how clean and tidy it was, coziness, the path to and from the car park was paved, helped a lot when it rained Nothing that we would report here, everything was in great condition.
- Tanya (10/5): It was a really nice place and we like to be going back there so nice and peaceful clean and tidy - It was really nice and peaceful it was really clean and comfortable definitely have to go back there agin really happy and also didn’t want to leave Nuffing really that we didn’t like
- Ann (9/5): Peacfull - Perfect location.
Stunning luxury glamping experience, stunning location, owls tweeting, all you needed, for a short break and RnR The design of the pods meant that the beds were extremely uncomfortable to get in and out of.
- Kris (8/5): Very good -
- Abby (10/5): Perfect place to stay - The accommodation was perfect. It was clean, comfortable and in the perfect location. We would recommend this place to anyone and we would love to return. There was nothing that we disliked.
- Sean (10/5): Lovely stay to remember - This property was perfect for a weekend stay, the locations is close to lovely parts of the Cotswolds and easy to get to. The enclosed garden was perfect for us with our dog and isn’t overlooked by the other properties. Not a lot we didn’t like about this property. Cooking facilities is a Hob only but didn’t hinder us in any way.
- Katie (8/5): Very good -
- Miles (9/5): Superb -
- Helen (7/5): Good stay but location a little out the way - liked the layout of the place. privately set out so neighbours can’t see each other. enclosed garden was great for the dog. warm shower and comfy bed leaky toilet. clearly the previous guests hadn’t picked up after their dog which meant I had to or risk being charged. half hour walk to nearest pub and impossible to get a taxi
- Millie (9/5): A great family break after Xmas. Cute little eco pod in the countryside - Quirky little eco pod, loved the waking up to the cows. The upstairs did have a few dead bugs around also a few live ones
- David (10/5): Would recommend it to everyone. - Fantastic location. Loved waking up to the cows. ❤️🐄🐮. Very peaceful and relaxing.
- Stephen (10/5): Awesome, recommended to all - Excellent in all ways Nothing
- Elina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- Georgia (8/5): Very good -
- Bev (10/5): Excellent stay really enjoyed it. -
- Eva (10/5): Exceptional -
- Martin (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely tranquil location within easy reach of some beautiful.Cotswold villages and Cheltenham. The lodges were well maintained with excellent facilities and the furniture and beds were.really.comfortable. The private garden area was a real bonus. Nothing
- Andrew (9/5): Fun - Unique hobbit-holeesque accommodation. Sleeping lofts were fun but hard for those with mobility problems. Lovely small private garden.
- Katie (10/5): it was a perfect way to spend my birthday - the property was absolutely stunning, dog friendly which was great so our dogs could come too! the property was in a lovely area and was easy to find.
- Rebecca (9/5): Superb - The cabin was a unique experiance to stay in, very well presented, clean and tidy. The location was in a quiet setting. Would reccommend
- Allan (9/5): Superb - Nice quiet location and very clean and tidy accommodation. The dog certainly enjoyed her stay too. The weather! But I can't blame anyone for that.
- Margaret (8/5): Fab hobbit house for the fit and mobile, single storey barns probably better for less agile folk. - Quirky, hobbit house, lovely use of wood fittings and smell of pine. Spotless clean. Enjoyed seeing rare breed cattle, butterflies and birds from the garden. Very dark area so good for stargazing. The cabin wasn't what I thought I had booked and although charming, the mezzanine sleeping platforms are not suitable for anyone with mobility issues of any sort, husband slept on the sofa having struggled with the steps and no standing room up there. On the other hand, 21-year-old daughter scampered up and down and loved it.
Had some difficulty lighting the hob, even after finding the manual, touch controls didn't seem to respond first time.
Rather irritating having to sign in to each TV app, even freeview, so we didn't bother. Maybe that's a positive!
Not the easiest entrance to find in the dark, the old lamppost is set back from the road and the hanging sign would benefit from a light.
Nevertheless, we would come back and stay in one of the single storey options.
- Sebastian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Fardous (9/5): Superb -
- Hugh (9/5): I wanted to stay longer but, sadly, it was fully booked. - It had pretty much everything that might be needed.
Landscaping is brand new but it will be amazing when fully grown. I have a bad back so crawling into bed took some care.
The advert said there was a microwave but there wasn’t. However, when I mentioned it, the matter was dealt with promptly and with humour.
- Anonymous (10/5): perfect stay, owner was lovely, highly recommend. thank you! - quit area, really clean and cabin was Amazing nothing
- Okeeffe (8/5): Very good - The area was very Beautiful the locals very helpful and friendly. A lot of wildlife to enjoy and places to visit. Unfortunately the pubs need to look at the menus a lot of the same food being served some was good others very boring.
- Anonymous (1/5): Bad -
- Jess (10/5): Exceptional -
- Elizabeth (9/5): Superb -
