- Faheem (10/5): - Property is furnished to a good standard for stay Heating doesn't work on 2nd floor, discovered fan heaters in a cupboard they were fit for purpose however a little note could have helped us find them earlier than we did. Living room has a little stink to it needs better cleaning and airing may be. Sofas need replacement they are like sitting on the floor, you sunk into it. Overall I won't complain for the whole accomodation treat these as recommendations.
- Campbell (10/5): -
- Lucy (10/5): - Lots of room for us all Nothing. It was perfect
- John (8/5): Perfect base to explore the area. - Excellent location relative to public transport. Less good for centre of town.
The house is warm, the bedrooms are spartan but clean, with comfortable beds. The upstairs shower control is broken (November 2025) - only cold water comes out. Downstairs shower, boiler and rest of the plumbing is fine.
Kitchen needs a chopping board. A decent sized caffetierre would be nice.
- David (4/5): Like a poor student in a booking that should have more. - It’s a good location near the train station and a grocer. The bed was comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked. This is at best student quality housing, which is not good. For a large group on a tight budget, it’s maybe a good deal. But the unit is run down at the entrance (weeds, trash, peeling paint), once inside it’s musty. The furniture is used or worn. The layout is not convenient, why a shower on the ground floor but bathrooms upstairs? The fire doors that separate every room are complete frustration. It reminds me of when I was at university years ago. There are power cords hanging from the boarded up fireplaces, there are no mirrors in the both rooms. The handles on the living room windows were broken. The street is busy.
- Sarah (4/5): Disappointed - No breakfast Noise from pub over road and bad WiFi and not very clean
- Natalia (10/5): -
- Marie (5/5): Student accommodation of lower standard - Not as good as we thought lower basement very off putting Lower basement very very basic
Lots of dust under beds
- Maurice (7/5): -
- Jenny (10/5): Great accommodation in a wonderful location. - Lots of space, well provided facilities, very friendly and welcoming hosts. Close to public transport with lots of walks in the vicinity. Nothing
- Margarida Soeiro (6/5): - Não nos foi enviado recibo até hoje da nossa estadia.
- Ben (8/5): -
- James (7/5): Good - Accommodation was perfect for what we needed, the place was clean and in a good location, pub across the road was a bonus! Shower room in the middle floor needs a revamp, water just leaks out the shower all over the floor.
No tea towels in the kitchen
- Steven (9/5): Superb - Fantastic value for a group of friends. Very clean on arrival. We only stayed one night and it was perfect for our short stay in Bangor, travelling through Wales.
- Emma (9/5): Superb - Excellent value for money. Comfy beds, very clean
- Luke (6/5): Pleasant - Cheap and cheerful. Was ideal for what we needed.
- Joe (8/5): Pleasant stay in Upper Bangor - The property is spacious and in a great location. The beds are very comfortable and the showers are amazing. Good value for money overall. The wardrobes in one of the rooms was locked so the people staying in that room couldn’t hang their clothes up. The furniture in the lounge could do with an upgrade.
- Beverley (7/5): Good - Spacious property, well equipped kitchen. Basic accommodation but as described. Bedrooms just had vertical blinds which didn't keep the light out.
- Sari (8/5): It was just fine! We each had a heated bedroom, worked well on bath sharing.the kitchen had all dishes and utensils we - The location your chosen activities was great. Grocery nearby. Cute coffee shop. Neighbors friendly. No parking. House layout, in which nothing can be done, very chopped up: just a shower by kitchen, sink and toilet up one flight, full bath up another flight, no bath to 3 bedrooms on 3rd level. All doors closed all the time, and we are a very open-door group. Some visible mold in main bath. The place just sort of needs some care. None of this was a deal breaker, just was a surprise.
- Cynthia (4/5): Disappointing -
- Edmondo (1/5): Yikes! Avoid this at all costs - There is nothing to like in this property. Every single aspect of this property was shocking, but I'll try to summarise everything.
The pictures used in the ad are very different from the current state of the property: furniture is old in almost every room, especially the kitchen and bathrooms. Floors were dirty: dust, feathers (how?), paper on various floors.
Bathrooms were horrible: black and pink mould abounded in the showers; white water marks on various surfaces; dark specs (I'm sure you'll catch my drift) in the toilet bowl.
The fridge reeked of onion and stank the entire kitchen just by opening it once.
I haven't smelled a property like this since uni halls - likely what it is during the academic year.
Doors and windows wouldn't operate properly. The entrance to the house had a basement with trash spewed all over the place.
Parking: non-existent. And the property owner sneakily changed the description after our booking to reflect this once a few reviews pointed it out.
Easily the worst booking property I've ever encountered. I decided to cut my trip short and go back home to Manchester rather than staying there for a single night!
Trust me: avoid this place and book somewhere nice in Anglesey instead.
- Rob (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect location, plenty of space, perfect for what we needed. Nothing
- Ellie (7/5): Suitable for an overnight stay and for groups who need plenty of space with a good bed. - Location was great for onward travel the next morning to catch ferry at Holyhead, and also for local pubs and restaurants. There was plenty of space in the property and the bedrooms were warm and clean with comfy beds. We were not there long enough to make use of the kitchen but it was clean and appeared to have everything required to prepare meals. The bathrooms were not very clean. One of the shower cubicles was especially filthy with pink scum around the edges which had obviously been there for a while. The vertical blinds in the front bedroom had slats missing or broken and the curtains didn't reach right across the window so I got undressed in the dark. Our party travelled in 2 groups and the communication for gaining access into the property could have been better. The first group to arrive had to wait for sometime before I was able to get back to them with the code for the lock box.
- Victoria (7/5): Great value, but a busy area so parking not easy. - Lots of space, nice and warm. Beds super comfy. Plenty of places to eat, shop and drink very close by. No parking at the property, this wasn’t clear at the time of booking and as parking is scarce, we had a 5 minute walk from the car with our luggage. Blinds damaged so shop lights did shine through the bedroom at the front.
- Davies (8/5): Very good -
- Glenda (9/5): Very good value for the money. Would recommend and would stay again in the future. - Property is clean and rooms are tidy. Kitchen is well equipped. Ideal for big group like us (8 adults). Location is central and nearest supermarket is within walking distance. The shower tray upstairs is a bit dated and is not draining well. However, there is another shower downstairs.
- Kim (7/5): Good -
