• Jennifer (10/5): - Love the bright bedroom. The place is spacious. And Raul is very helpful. The pressure of the kitchen faucet is too strong. I get wet every time I use it.

• Carmen (7/5): Nice apt, need better communication. - Comfortable bed, a/c worked pretty well. Location was good. Pillows are stupid huge. I need 2, had to use a couch pillow between my knees, IYKYK. Halls are hot. Poor communication on how to obtain keys and use them to get in and out of apt. You have to scan the key, but they gave you actual keys. Had a tenant not came by, we would have had no idea. (A picky but important detail). No one available to check you in, so relying on responses thru email, which took time.

• Dawn (3/5): Flooded out of room, not compensated for trouble in anyway, unable to conact main booking.com ~ - Size of room, location was good, bed was comfortable. As expected for what was promised. There was no one to assist with the difficulty of getting the keys originally except for help from a neighbor. The 3rd night while we were sleeping, the air conditioner/plumbing broke. Water everywhere, floor, wall, etc. We had to turn off the air and wait for help. We sent the first message at 8 a.m., then called at 9. People showed up to start helping around 10:00, they were nice. However, we got very bad communication about what was going to happen while maintenance ran around. Some text messages without a number to call back. No way to call main booking.com - just got AI and no option for a real problem not on the list. We had things to do and with no phone numbers to reach people, when maintenance left we talked to the security guard downstairs. He was not in charge of apartment (hotel) rooms as they belong to different people. We finally got the security guard to take us blocks away to another hotel where the managers of the apartment were - they told us they were moving hotels for us. This is almost 6 hours later with No Air. What a stressful, waste of our day. Someone was supposed to come help us move, they did not, the security guard helped when we started down the streets with our luggage ourselves. Nice man. By the time we got to our new much smaller room, about 2:30, we were too exhausted to go to the tour we had booked at 3:00 (they were nice enough to move it for us to the next morning). I asked for a one day reduction in our bill due to all the trouble and waste of our time and was told NO. That I should be glad they found us another room. (Noted also, the new hotel was cheaper than the one booked and we would not have stayed there if we had picked our own room - very cramped, though nice decor. Pool on roof, is not a real swimming pool, it is more like a wading, soaking pool.) So over all experience - Will not be staying at any of these places again, and will not be using booking.com for a while either as could not contact.

• Bérengère (9/5): Great location and a very nice view - The location is amazing. You can visit easily the old neighborhood from there. I specifically recommend for bird lovers, you can see lots of them just in front of the windows.
• Christine (8/5): Great location - Convenient location, well decorated as presented in pictures. Kitchen equipped with essentials. Pool is nice since there are no beaches close by. No linens for my son to sleep in on the first night for the filled out bed (which was very uncomfortable, with springs sticking out). My bed was very hard, so I didn’t sleep well, but that could just be my preference.

• Aindrea S (10/5): Quiet haven in a usually noisy area - The apartment genuinely looks just like the photos! Location is great. Easy to walk around the area and hit the Cinta Costera. It's very quiet and it has an elevator (which i'm told is rare for the neighbourhood). They allowed luggage storage the day of my departure at another property of theres 200m away. The apartment has everything including a kettle, coffee pot, cups, etc Just be prepared for them to ask for your passport beforehand. I would have preferred to show it on arrival, but they wouldn't confirm the booking without it being sent to their email address.
• Florencia (9/5): - Excelente ubicación, seguro y fácil de moverse. El departamento espacioso, cómodo, luminoso. Bien equipado. Muy limpio. Volveríamos! En las imágenes se muestra una terraza con piscina, la piscina estaba en refacciones y nos enteramos directo allí en el lugar.

• Christian (6/5): Für uns keine empfehlenswerte Unterkunft - Saubere Unterkunft, mitten im Stadtzentrum Unterkunft schwer zu finden, keine gute Parkmöglichkeit. Über die Preise des Parkplatzes beim Theater waren sich die dort Angestellten nicht einig (erst angeblich 10$ dann doch 20$ gezahlt). Immer wieder Stromausfall. Wasser ist ausgefallen, während ich mit Shampoo in den Haaren unter der Dusche stand. Meine Partnerin musste daraufhin losgehen und Wasser in einem Supermarkt kaufen, da es für weitere Stunden nicht funktionierte.

• Sarah (9/5): Terrific apartment in central location. Highly recommended. - Great location in the heart of the Old Quarter on the Plaza Simon Bolivar. Very quiet as apartment was at the back of the block. Nicely renovated apartment with stylish decorations. Huge comfortable bed.

Especially appreciated how quiet it was, exactly as promised by the owners. Nice view over the "ruins" at the back, lots of bird sounds. It delivered on all its promises. If I ever visit Panama City again, I will stay here again.
• Jingwen (10/5): I recommend this flat - I booked this property very last minute and the host responded to my message / sent check in instructions shortly after I booked. I felt very safe in the area as a young solo female traveler. The flat was clean and spacious, many restaurants / cafes within 5 minute walk, the supermarket is less than 10 mins away. Tip: allow extra time for Uber pickup going back to the airport as the traffic can be heavy around the plaza/ in old town The hallway is incredibly humid and steamy, but that’s out of the hosts control. There are several lock boxes outside the building door (but I quickly figured it out based on the number of digits of the passcode), as others have mentioned, a picture indicating which lockbox is for the flat would be helpful.

• Danziger (7/5): Just AWESOME!! - Excellent Gem of a find to stay in the BEST area in Panama City!! Weekends be prepared for parties in the building that can go on into the early ams the next day…. But if you can beat join ‘em ❤️🤪🤪
• Lynn (9/5): Nice apartment, great location, hosts helpful. - Great apartment in a very safe area of Casco Viejo. Apartment was very comfortable. Hosts were great and offered to coordinate a driver to pick us up at the airport and drive us to the apartment for a reasonable price-but to note-Uber is a very cost effective option in Panama. In hindsight, our return to the airport was via uber and was cheaper than the coordinated driver. It would have been helpful for the hosts to send a picture of what the lockbox looked like, because there were several boxes at the location and there was no apartment number on the lock box. Luckily the superintendent of the building was right there and so was able to help us with that.

• Lisa (10/5): Beautiful apartment. Perfect location to explore Casco Viejo. - The location was perfect. Loved being across the plaza from Iglesia de St Francis de Assisi. The room was clean and modern. Shower was warm and the WiFi was strong and the A/C was cool. We didn’t cook but the kitchen was well appointed for a short stay. The view from the rooftop was lovely. We would definitely stay again. The view from the window was limited with mostly just a look into the ruins of the building next door, however we could see Ancon Hill in the background. The pillows were fairly uncomfortable, but I’m pretty picky. The scissors in the kitchen were broken, but if that’s all I have to complain about, it’s still a great place. We would have appreciated more comfortable seating on the roof, but again that’s pretty picky. The hallway is very echo-y, so we heard the neighbors come and go loud and clear. I understand the $35 cleaning fee, but it seemed high given we were there just one night and always leave a place with minimal cleaning required. The Hotel Colombia sign is difficult to see, but just tell your driver Plaza Bolivar, and you’re right there. It’s opposite the church, between a restaurant and a school.

• Stephanie (9/5): Great location! Cute and well decorated spot. - The location was the best part of stying here. As a solo traveler I felt safe walking around all day and at night. Walking distance to lol the trendy “instagram” restaurants and museums. I stayed in Casco Viejo because of the Copa Airlines stopover program. I got a “taste” of Panama and didn’t get to hang out downtown s there was so much to do in Casco Viejo. The instructions provided by the host via email to find the hotel and get the key was easy to follow. Not sure why people complained about it. I locked the key inside the room and the host responded quickly Only issue was the leaky ceiling. Once I reported the issue it was fixed right away.

• Jeri (10/5): Great place and location - Helpful concierge. Great location on the square with perfect restaurant options downstairs and across the street. From airport , you can take Metro to Cinco de Mayo for $2 pp and then Uber from there for $5, saving $40 taxi ride. Don't walk from Cinco de Mayo stop. Nice views from rooftop. Coffee pot and full fridge in room. Location of condo is in a heavily guarded sector of old city. Very safe. Lack of electric outlets, which is common everywhere in Panama.
