• Aoife (7/5): - Full Kitchen use allowed, back garden was nice with a seating area, free access to snacks and food and coffee making facilities Bathroom is built mid way on stairs making it a risk for falls. Onyl one bathroom so if you need to even brush your teeth you have to wait for someone to come out. Hostel was not labelled from outside so I was worried I was in wrong location until I called them.

• Chiara (9/5): Schönes Hostel - Das Haus ist sehr einladend mit kleinem wohn- & Esszimmer und Küche. Auch das Zimmer war schön! Mit Sofa, kleinem Tisch und großen Schließfächern! Besonders schön war auch der kleine Garten mit Terrasse!!! Eine Leselampen an dem Betten wäre von Vorteil.

• Andreas (9/5): Family feeling away from home - The location of the hostel was excellent. Sightseeing spots, shopping, nightlife, everything is around the corner. Joanna and Joy gave me a warm welcome, it almost feels like home and family from the first moment. If you are a long sleeper you will appreciate that breakfast is available at all times. I definitely would recommend this place for your visit to Waterford.

• Rodrigo (10/5): Bien localizado, acogedor y perfecto para viajeros. - Todo estuvo muy bien. El espacio estaba bien situado, es cómodo y bonito. Incluye comida, mermeladas,, mantequilla,pan, zumos...etc y en general cualquier cosa básica que puedas necesitar para desayuno, merienda o en algunos casos cena. Además tiene una zona con tele que incluye Netflix y otros para ver algo del chill. La cama no era de las mejores, pero en lo demás esta todo bien.

The place was spotless and comfortably accommodated all 6 people . The layout is practical, with a shared bathroom located centrally in the house, which worked well for our group. One of the highlights was the lovely garden at the back — such a cute and peaceful spot to relax. The sitting room was also very clean, cozy, and perfect for unwinding after a day out. The host truly made our stay special — incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always helpful. Breakfast was a fantastic bonus! There was a great selection including bread, pastries, jams, biscuits, cheese, yogurts, cereals, fresh fruit, bottled water, milk, and juice. Plus, tea and coffee were available anytime, which we really appreciated. The location is ideal, with plenty of tourist spots nearby, making it easy to explore Waterford. Museums and Waterford crystal is practically 3minutes walk away The tesco and cinema is just at the back of property There’s an overnight partaking in the corner which is only 3.90e Tramore beach and Dunmore beach is one bus ride away.bus stop close to the erbnb. Overall, a very clean, comfortable, and welcoming place — highly recommended!

No podía encontrar en ningún lado que era n.31 y estuve yendo y viniendo por la calle tratando de encontrar un cartel que indique el nombre o alguna señalización.

• glen of aherlow tipperar (1/5): Only for my total exhauston due to 2 days of travel, i would have run from the property. - It isnt a hostel or airbn by any measure. while its set out akin to a hostel its basically a 3 story owned house, where the owner usses the top floor of the house as his apartment. lower floors 2 bedrooms have 2 sets of 2 bunk beds in each. the night of my stay there were 7 men in total (i felt uncomfortable and unsafe here as i didnt know anyone there) management I didnt see at any stage of the hours i stayed there. would not recommend this location to anyone. I would be more inclined to warn people against it. i have no objection to any race creed or colour but seeing a Kohran bible on mantle piece made me ery uneasy. not somethng you would see in hostels or Band Ns.

Auberge de jeunesse des années 1970 avec un prix des années 2030. 45 euros la nuit, à ce niveau de confort c'est de l'abus. Pas de place dans le réfrigérateur. Petit déjeuner proposant le minimum. Personnel sympathique mais peu présent. Lits superposés qui bougent au moindre mouvement. Parties communes peu agréable.

• Christine Aduke Ilori (10/5): You're doing great keep going. - The serene environment and very neat clean rooms. There's nothing to talk much about it's a hostel ,so limited choices are the main issues above all I'm satisfied.
• amelia (4/5): - The host was friendly and the location was a short walk to the town centre. The building is quite run down and there is only one bathroom, which would benefit from a renovation. At €45 for a bed for one night, it was overpriced.

There was a strong smell in the room of damp and the same smell was on the bed covers and pillow cases. There was no way of locking the bedroom door from the outside also. There was a lock inside the bedroom door and there were lockers provided under the beds. There was only one bathroom to share among other people also.

The backyard or place to lounge outside is very cramped, cigarettes on ashtrays, etc. The room was very small for 4 people. The hostel has one bathroom toilet for 8 people ( should the place be full) No sign at the door makes it very difficult to find this place should you not have internet connection… For moments a radio on the premises was very loud …

• Agatha (9/5): Much better than I expected given the reviews - Breakfast was provided, there was an equipped kitchen, and the bathroom had amenities like extra toilet paper, tampons, etc. I was also able to leave my bike in the back garden overnight. Only one bathroom for all guests can be complicated if there's a lot of people staying there.
• Jon (4/5): A good choice ONLY if price is your primary consideration, and even then, expect frustration. - I did not stay for breakfast. Through the door, I saw cereal. Where to start. No address or telephone number given. Took over an hour to find. Generally run down condition. Never saw the owner. Unfortunately Waterford has few cheap options to spend the night. Because of the frustration, I could/would not recommend. Still cannot believe they do not give address. Suspicious.

• Nino (5/5): Passable - The host guy was very nice and friendly. Location is also good, near the center. There’s only one toilet in the whole hostel that’s not even clean. We had top bunks in the room and there were no curtains to provide privacy, only lower bunks had curtains. There were no power plugs near the bunk to charge our phones.

She’s warm, attentive, and genuinely cares about making her guests feel comfortable — if there’s anything you need, just ask, and she’ll do her best to help. CJ is the soul of the house — welcoming, full of local knowledge, and always happy to guide you or check in to make sure you're doing okay. He gives the place a friendly, homey energy that’s hard to find. The only thing missing to make this place feel truly like home is more consistent cleaning. The house itself is lovely and full of charm, but it needs a bit more daily attention — especially in shared areas — to stay that way. Also, with a proper renovation, that outdoor space could become a real gem. I hope they continue investing in it because it would really add to the whole experience. A little extra care and effort here would go a long way in preserving this beautiful space and making everyone’s stay even more enjoyable. With the right upkeep, this place has the potential to be unforgettable.
• Maureen (3/5): Disappointing - Convenient location. Friendly caretaker. Small room for 4 guests on 3rd floor.. One small bathroom forl 8 guests. The garden area was not well kept. Poor Internet access. The price was high for what it was. More of a long term boarding house vibe. On the other hand, there were really no other hostel options in Waterford. It was better than nothing. A suitable solution if one is simply needing a place to rest while in transit to a better place. There were many notices about the facility instructing guests to clean up after themselves. To a point, that is a reasonable request. Nevertheless, staff should be more responsible for cleaning and maintaining basic hostel services. Sorry...I hate giving negative reviews. I had stayed here once before in the larger sized dorm . I would recommend requesting the 2nd floor room if planning to stay here. It was substantially better.
