Guest Reviews
- Robert (8/5): Fantastic four nights - The caravan was clean and tidy. Everything you could need was available. It's 5 minuten walk from te sea and a quiet andnice place Nothing
- david (10/5): - We stayed at this property last week for 4 nights. The property was beyond our expecting, it was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay.
Ideally located just outside Edinburgh which was a short 15 minute trian ride away.
The Haven park was clean & tidy, staff very pleasant & helpfully, kids loved it.
The property has a sea view which was a bonus and a 5 minute walk to the beach.
Highly recommend.
Only disappointment was the Internet, not very fast.
- Alexandre (10/5): -
- Anand (9/5): - All good The single roomsand bads are too small to sleep
- Cheryl (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely holiday home, with everything you need for the perfect getaway. Annie was a great host and very helpful with any queries I had. Would fully recommend her holiday home and would definitely use again if it was available. Many thanks 😊
- Ashley (10/5): Exceptional - This was an exceptionally clean property. We had an amazing stay.
- Mary (10/5): Exceptional - I have just returned from a short stay at Miss Polly’s Hideaway with my elderly father and my adult son. It is an absolute gem of a caravan. The minute you arrive you know it is something special. The hosts, Annie & Shaun are very responsive should you need to get in touch. They have gone out of their way to make your stay comfortable with snacks and tea and coffee available for you on your arrival as well as a few basic food items to start you off. The whole place is absolutely spotless and doesn’t have lots of posters of ‘Rules’ around the place which makes a nice change. A particularly nice touch is the bed linen - obviously very good quality, and obviously selected for the ages of the occupants. Everything you could possibly want or need is there. They have a bbq for good weather and a selection of books and dvds for the not so nice weather. There is a definite feeling of homlieness in this caravan and we loved it. It feels like you’re at a friend’s place. We would definitely like to return with other family members in the future. I can’t recommend Miss Polly’s Hideaway highly enough. Absolutely nothing
- Tomas (10/5): Exceptional -
- Claire (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect caravan. Location is fab, so clean and owner was excellent at communicating throughout. We would definitely go again. Nothing.
- Jeff (8/5): Very good -
- Laura (10/5): Spotless caravan, great host! - Annie was very welcoming and accommodating. The caravan was spotless and very well stocked. She was extremely generous to leave Easter eggs for my girls and also messaged ahead of time to ensure they had the covers they wanted for their bed.
- Marion (9/5): First short getaway with family and we all had the best time in excellent surroundings - Everything was great, location, facilities and contact from property.
The property was immaculate and provisions left for us too. Also had everything we needed for our 2 year old.
Would recommend without hesitation.
- Mcqueen (10/5): Exceptional - Annie, the host, had thought of everything to make our stay so pleasurable. From check-in to leaving. Most accommodating and easy to contact should the need arise.
The caravan is an Immaculate, spacious, fully equipped comfortable, homley space, with lots of lovely extra touches. Biscuits, cereals, coffee machines & pods, books & and games, to name a few.
Ideally, it is located in a scenic, quiet spot, yet only a 5 minute walk to all the activities. Great for the children. There is a spacious verander with ample seating for everyone to relax. A barbacue is available to use also.
Would love to have stayed longer and absolutely would return. N/A
- Neil (10/5): Exceptional - Spotlessly clean well equipped and easy check in

- Jason (10/5): Perfect place to come back to after a day out. - Was comfy and homely Nothing. Everything was great
- Laura (9/5): A home from home. Fabulous hosts and very helpful. Would definitely recommend staying here , and we will hopefully be ba - Very clean and homely, the extras that they had thought about were lovely such as the biscuits and even the boys bedding. Nice spacious area to sit outside and relax and read ( lots of books there to chose from), area of grass nearby which was good for our boys to play football. Just a really lovely caravan with beautiful views. it was abit of a walk to the site which wasn’t an issue for us and we enjoyed being that bit further for the quietness , but may be a problem for those who can’t walk as far.
And the Wi-Fi / general signal wasn’t very strong as quite high up, but didn’t impact on our stay here .
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional static caravan in a great location, fantastically comfortable and well equipped - Very comfortable, incredibly well-equipped, and immaculately clean. We particularly appreciated the chocolate biscuits on arrival, and it was great to have a coffee pod machine, complete with pods. TV and WiFi worked well, and even built in Bluetooth speakers! The shower was really good as well. We're a family of 4 with 2 tall teenage boys, and there was plenty of space for us.
The location is great too - right by a beautiful beach, peaceful, and yet convenient for Edinburgh. It's in a quiet part of the site, with plenty of space between the caravans. Some nice walking trails around the site too.
We weren't there for long enough to take advantage of the BBQ, but it was nice to have it there. Nothing!
- Colin (9/5): This property is in a good location, very clean and has all the facilities required -
- Ann (9/5): Very relaxing, just wish it was nearer the front of complex - N/A Size of beds in twin rooms
- Dean (9/5): Superb - Wonderful scenery and great for children. The property was pristine and met all expectations! The host went out of her way to make sure we felt at home.
- Julie (10/5): Exceptional - We have just returned from Miss Pollys Hideaway Everything was so nice and fresh, by far the nicest holiday home we've stayed in on the park. The hosts were really kind and helpful and I would definitely recommend it to anyone staying at Seton Sands
- Sarah (10/5): Definitely staying here if I plan on going to Edinburgh again...... Absolutely perfect!! - There was absolutely nothing we could fault about this property.
Its was spotlessly clean, extremely equipped with anything you would require for a comfortable stay, and it was so modern with all mod con's including a coffee machine.
We were 4 ladies doing the Edinburgh marathon and the location, whilst quite far from Edinburgh City, was easy enough to get to on a bus. Prefect location if you're driving though!!
Our Host was fantastic and so polite. We had all the relevant details for entry into the accommodation, in plenty of time, before we arrived and they left out some sweets for us. Whilst it has no impact on the accommodation itself, the caravan park was very busy (probably due to the bank holiday weekend and/or the marathon), so the wait for food was quite excessive. The chip shop ran out of quite a bit of food too, on the Sunday evening.
- Mcgeown (10/5): Amazing place to stay and great value, will definitely be back! - We had an amazing stay at Miss Pollys Hideaway, the caravan was immaculate and had absolutely everything anyone would need for staying, even down to hairdryers and irons. Amazing having the coffee machine and cereals for breakfasts, something you don’t usually have in caravans. Checkin and check out process was easy. Location was perfect too. We’re hoping to book up again soon!
- Peter (10/5): Excellent, hope to be back soon. - The caravan was spotless and very well equipped with everything you would need plus a few welcome extras. Annie has thought of everything, even down to a needle and thread. Fabulous balcony, great for sitting out in the sun which we were very fortunate to have 4 out of 5 nights of. Nothing.
- Claire (10/5): Exceptional - Cannot say enough about this beautiful caravan- it was absolutely immaculate! We were there for 3nights & would have loved to stay longer, we are already looking at booking again soon. It had everything you needed & felt very spacious inside. The decking area is beautiful also. The owners are so kind & set up a wonderful travel cot& high chair for our little one so we didnt have to bring the big items. Cannot recommed Miss Polly’s Hideaway enough🤩 Nothing we loved it!
