• Freddy (8/5): Good location and view to the mountains - View to the mountains, the pool, walking distance to city and beach Some days a bit of a smelly zoo from all the animals around the villa.
• Nicole (4/5): Disappointing experience, let down, over paid experince! - The local wildlife. Showers. Big tele, only 2 English channels, have to bring your firestick. Nothing else. Building work on villa next door from a few days after arriving until we left! Very loud, could not relax! Dirty utensils, pool was not clean, we brushed it as was green, over looked and not private, the neighbours boyfriend/husband worked on his car every night next door! Wont stay here again, owner told us to relax and enjoy, after we complained! Not happy! Ants in house. Stains on sofa bed covered up with a throw. Advertised pictures do not show the reality of what you get when you get there! I want some of our money back.

• Gladycia (9/5): Villa parfaite pour des vacances en famille - La villa est exceptionnelle , fonctionnelle et adaptée à 7 personnes. Sa situation dans un quartier calme avec une vue à 360 degré sur les montagnes et proche du centre ville et de la plage environ 10 minutes à pied. L'heure d'arrivée flexible. La disponibilité du propriétaire et les petites attentions à notre arrivée. RAS
• Lars (10/5): - Det var stort, hyggeligt med en lækker pool! Alt fungerede perfekt. Det lå i gå afstand fra en hyggelig by. Der manglede æggebæger :-)
• VALERIE (10/5): - Superbe villa, décoration et équipements fabuleux. Tout y est pour un incroyable séjour. C'est globalement calme. Parfois coqs et chiens sont un peu bruyants. On se rend à la plage et au centre ville très vite à pieds en moins de 10 minutes. L'accueil à la villa réalisé par Nicky est chaleureux avec de petites attentions. Dommage que la baie vitrée principale ne soit pas équipée d'un store ou d'un rideau. Pour celui qui dort à l'étage intermédiaire, réveil très matinal. C'est vraiment le seul petit point à améliorer.

• Victoria (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely villa. Had everything we needed for a fantastic family holiday. Even supplied towels and robes plus shampoo, shower gels and cleaning products. Lovely pool and only 10 minutes walk to the beach and village centre. The owner had made us a delicious cheese pie for our arrival with bottles of water available and a bottle of wine. Highly recommended and we will definitely go back one day.
• Anonymous (10/5): Amazing Family Stay with Superb Hosts and Beach only 10 min walk away. - Property was ultra modern with fantastic amenities. Induction hob, safe to use and clean, very good size bedrooms with Air Con in all. Lovely high ceilings, TVs in all rooms etc, not that we used them. The pool stayed about 30 degrees the whole time. Phenomenal. Plenty of sun loungers round the pool too. Also an electric BBQ. Rural location, about 7 min walk to the village with plenty of shops/bars etc. Roughly 10 min walk to the beach. Go to far end of beach as much more sandy. The walk back is ever so slightly up hill, but my parents are 80+ and they managed it easy enough. Our hosts were the most lovely people you could ever meet. So kind, so hospitable. They even made us a beautiful cheese pie. Genuinely have no complaints about the Villa or the whole experience. To get a bus into Chania, literally just go to the bottom of the road into town, there is a bus stop just past the church by the butchers.
• Jane (10/5): Exceeded expectations! - We had a wonderful time staying at Ciel Villa. The owners had thought of everything. Finished to a high standard, very clean, with excellent facilities. Irene and her parents greeted us when we arrived, which was quite late, she had made us a lovely pie and left wine, breakfast for the morning, a supply of coffee pods and various other essential items including shampoo, shower gel and washing tabs. We were really impressed with how much attention to detail the owners had taken. Communication with Nektarios who managed the booking was excellent, he always responded very quickly and was happy to help with all our queries prior to and after arrival. The village is just a 5 mins walk and you are on the beach in 10 mins, where we found a good selection of excellent restaurants and bars. Not the prettiest of surroundings. The villa is next to an unfinished, overgrown, empty villa, which a snoring goat slept in most nights. The other side of the villa is a disused field where some cars had been dumped. That said the surroundings would not put us off staying again as the standard and finish of the villa was excellent!
