• Andreasssim7 (6/5): Μέτριο - Μεγάλα δωμάτια. Καθαρο σπίτι. Καλή τοποθεσία Δεν είχε κουρτίνες και ξυπναγαμε κάθε μέρα μόλις ξημέρωνε. Δεν είχε έξτρα πετσέτες ή σεντόνια. Τις μισές μέρες της διαμονής μας δεν λειτουργούσε το Wifi. Ο οικοδεσπότης μας ζητούσε συνεχεια τα λεφτά του φόρου διαμονής λες και θα τα κλέβαμε.

Key did not work at all and had push door hard to open . Tried calling but no answer. Unprofessional that owner showed up at our accommodation without notice during our stay. He sent a message when he arrived for us to open door and kept knocking until we eventually opened it . we felt unsafe as it was late. . He wanted access to laundry room and he had to walk through our bedrooms to access. He also said he didn’t make up second bed due to previous tenants bringing extra people which has nothing to do with our stay . He could clearly see there was only 2 of us and just said sorry but not good enough as we went without bedding. Extremely loud machinery noise coming through bathroom walls. Shelves falling off . Mould around bath . Cords from walls hanging out. Curtains need attending . Kettle dirty.

• EMMA (7/5): accesible to high street , comfy beds and good facilities - location is accessible tobthe high street , 20 minutes walk to the train and bus station We extended our stay for two more days due to flight cancellations, and we would have really appreciated some additional toiletries and coffee during the extended stay. We also noticed some mould in the corners of the bathroom and that the bath curtain wasn’t very clean. Just wanted to mention this in case it helps with future guest comfort.

• frances (10/5): Fabulous. Would highly recommend - Spotless, beautiful building Near old town , 15 min walk to main shopping area and sea front , owner dropped by as the hot water wasn’t working . Lovely balcony with great seating . Loved everything about the apartment , great size fridge . Full oven , only used to make toasted sandwich . There is a shop across the road that sells cheese , they have fresh milk and eggs if you need them Could not fault anything , but would have liked dishwashing tablets , box was empty , ( luckily I had brought my own ) and a tea towel but not a big deal

• Sarah (5/5): Great location but room to improve the property - The property is excellently located for Bari city centre and there is also a convenient long-stay car park very close by. There are some basic maintenance issues which should be urgently attended to in the bathroom e.g., no shower screen, mould in seals and mould under the window. The glass shelves were also sloping down from the wall and therefore unusable. There are also some safety issues such as floor wires in one of the bedrooms that could be improved. The decorative state could be freshened up. As a final point, basic checks should be carried out before visits commence - we had no toilet paper and had to contact the owner to get some as no shops were open that day. This wasn’t a great start to the stay.

A five minute stroll to the old town, lots of restaurants and shops nearby and parking was easy and you could pay for the full day in advance too. Apartment was spacious, spotlessly clean and comfortable. Terrace was amazing, and perfect for older kids. Breakfast was lovely and as requested to host, was delivered in the morning. Only little thing was no air con units in the bedrooms, would not like to be there in midst of summer.

• Stephan (4/5): good location but disappointing - good location included breakfast was: a 5 minutes walk to a small breakfast bar; only 1 coffee and 1 croissant at the bar we had to pass through each other rooms to go to the bathroom or to go outside only 1 toilet, and that in the only bathroom, not mutch for 6 persons only 1 key for all persons in a lock box, not very practical these things were not mentioned on the website
• Maria (9/5): A great four night stay. Lovely base from which to explore the region and town of Bari. - Great location with cheap and secure parking nearby. Lovely breakfast at a cafe a couple of blocks away ( home delivery possible ). Bright and airy apartment. The key to the street door was a little tricky to use, and we had a small problem with the shower screen, but both issues were dealt with immediately by the host in a friendly and courteous manner.

• Auli (7/5): Good location, nice big balcony. Quiet at night. - Good location. Comfortable beds, although Italian style (i.e. too short for 180 cm person, as pillow steals some space). Nice, spacious balcony. Quiet at night. Wifi works fine. When we (3 ladies) arrived after 10 pm, we noticed only two bedrooms were prepared. We booked three bedroom apartment, as we all needed our own space. We called the owner to ask for bed sheets, but he declined, as it was ”too late” and he cannot get anyone to bring them to us (why not himself?). He was quite rude and blamed us that we didn’t inform him that we wanted to use all bedrooms. We have never had to inform the owners anywhere before. If they are unsure how we want to use the rooms, why not make the third bedroom ready, just in case? It’s not that hard. We had to use towels etc. to be able to use the third bed. We asked for reimbursement of the first night, but the owner declined and again blamed us. However, with the help of Booking.com we got it sorted. Third ”bedroom” is a loft above a little livingroom space. Downstairs AC doesn’t help upstairs. The other two bedrooms didn’t have AC in the room, but there was one in the kitchen and one in the livingroom. To get the cool air in the bedrooms you need to keep bedroom doors open. If you sleep in the loft or in the livingroom the only way to the toilet is through either one of the bedrooms. Gate door lock was tricky. It jammed almost every time and the key didn’t turn. Usually took several minutes to get inside.

• Michał (6/5): Pleasant - Good location, apartment was big and spacious, very clean. Comfortable beds. Breakfast was simple, but fresh, however you have to call specific number to get it and they will bring it to the apartment. It was cold in Bari and heating was necessary, but I spent over 1 day messaging with the owner on how to turn on the heating, getting advices piece by piece until I was finally able to do it. Someone should simply come and turn it on, so I don't have to waste my travel time to get to the bottom of this. I was also advised to use A/C for the heating, but it was not enough, as A/C is installed in one room and kitchen, but there is no connection to the bathroom (super cold) and another room. Plus - ceilings are very high, so it's impossible to heat the apartment by A/C only. Breakfast - it was included and fresh, but you had to call a cafe to get it. Information wasn't clear, it was kept in some red case in the kitchen, no info on the café name, few piece of papers with different numbers and messages about breakfast. Only the second day the owner responded and gave some more details on how to order it, but we already missed breakfast on the first day. Better solution would be to have clear step-by-step message via Booking on how to get this breakfast. No place to unpack, no wardrobes, but there are two hangers. Not a huge problem for 3-day stay, but for a longer stay it would be inconvenient.
• Martyn (7/5): A good place to stay for a large group. - The location was very good. Thecapartment was clean and bright. There was a repeated problem with the electricity shorting out. This was due to the poor kitchen equipment running from a single extension. There was insufficient hanging space for clothes. There were only 4 dining chairs and we were a group of 6 guests. Attention to detail could be improved as repairs were needed.
