• Edgar Calixto (9/5): El sitio ideal para alejarse de la ciudad y reencontrarse con la naturaleza. - La ubicación en la montaña que permite disfrutar la vista de la represa, las habitaciones son cómodas y el personal es amable. Hacen falta actividades dentro del área social, que es muy bonita y cómoda. Cuando llega la noche no hay más opción que encerrarse en la habitación.

El acceso al hotel y en general la locación era muy empinada, nuestro vehículo no subió, tocó dejarlo en una finca vecina. Tampoco nos gustó que un día no hubo electricidad por varias horas.

• Rocha (8/5): calidad y personal eficiente, y mejora algunas pocas cosas - el desayuno es muy bueno, y la atención de todas las personas encargadas fue genial, la ubicación también es muy buena. la calidad de la comida y el servicio del personal son perfetos, muy atentos y disponibles, saben lo que deben hacer. no es para nada bueno la entrada al hotel, tiene una pendiente llena de piedra que hizo que no pudiera subir normal, hace forzar mucho el vehículo en el que se vaya, porque hace que las llantas patinen, iba en una camioneta grande y nueva pero fue muy difícil subir. así mismo el frio es muy fuerte y la habitación quizá necesite un poco mas fuerte el calefactor, y recomendaría variar un poco mas el desayuno la calidad es muy alta pero si vas por mas de dos dias seria repetitivo.

• Santiago (9/5): Descanso y relajación en medio de la naturaleza - El hotel es muy agradable, cómodo y bonito. Las habitaciones son amplias, con hermosa vista y cuentan con todo lo que uno necesita para descansar y disfrutar de la zona. La comida es deliciosa y la atención del staff es excelente. El sendero y el terreno al rededor del hotel también es muy bonito. Cuentan con juegos de mesa que los huéspedes pueden usar para divertirse y pasar el tiempo. El último tramo de la carretera para llegar al hotel está en mal estado y es muy empinado, deberían tratar de pavimentarlo para que los vehículos suban sin problema. La ducha de nuestra habitación se inundaba un poco, pero creo que es una cuestión que se puede arreglar fácilmente y realmente no era grave.

La comida es rica, las instalaciones bonitas y limpias. La llegada es un poco complicada, principalmente los ultimos metros ya que es una carretera rural y sufren los carros, los ultimos metros son empinados y con muchos huecos, vi muchos vehiculos sufriendo para poder llegar.

El baño se inundaba la logística del trasporte para llegar es poco inclusiva ya que no es muy claro como llegar o moverse del lugar sin vehículo, podría mejorar, a pesar de que se presta servicio de fogata hay muchos zancudos en la noche por lo cual no se puede apreciar, se podrían tener lamparas con mosquitero afuera de cada cabaña.

• Gary (5/5): Over priced and over rated. - The view is fantastic. The access road is not paved and is in terrible condition. The site is very steep and the pathways are difficult and possibly dangerous. Definitely not recommended for small children or the elderly. Maybe OK for mountain goats! The car park is a long way down a steep hill from the accommodation. There is no room service in the cabins. Prices in the restaurant are very high and there are no other local options for meals and drinks as the hotel is very isolated. There is a kitchenette in the cabin but no facilities for cooking or heating food. There is no lighting on the pathways which makes venturing out at night very dangerous. The cabins are elevated off the ground and very cold. The tiny electric heater provided was completely useless. This was the most expensive hotel we have ever stayed at and I don't think it was good value. We only stayed one night.
• Catalina (8/5): Very good - The view from the cabins to the lake is stunning, the beds were very comfortable and cozy, the walking area is really nice. There is also a coffee station which is a plus in a cold weather. The food and breakfast in the restaurant was delicious. The service and all the team were very kind, after all the issues we had with the water, they solved them all. It is pet friendly and walking distance (20min) to the lake. We had a lot of issues with the water (hot and cold), we had to wait a lot to be able to use the jacuzzi because the hot water was not working and the pressure was very low, so it took almost 2 hours to get ready. The next morning the shower was too hot and we were not able to cool it down. We also had issues with the toilette, they had to come (after one hour) to help us to flush the toilette because it didn’t have enough water. In the otherhand, the access is a little tough, there is only space for one car to pass through to get to the location and if it rains can become a challenge. In general, I consider the price per night we paid for was too high,considering all those issues.
• Abigail (9/5): Tranquil stay high in the mountains - Breakfast was very good, so was dinner. Beautiful location, small spaceheater in the room helped (it’s very cold up there), nice kitchenette with hot water heater and French press for coffee. Jacuzzi outside room is very, very nice (though it takes over a hour to fill). Nice hikes and walks around the area. Try not to arrive after dark because the road to the lodge is rough and not well-lit. Checkout is pretty early but breakfast doesn’t start until 8am, which is pretty late if you want to get a hike in before checkout. There was a bit of bureaucracy in reserving the room - payment on Booking didn’t work so I had to use a different website, and they require a 50% payment in advance. At check-in they also make you fill in an online form with ID information (or ask you to fill it in before arriving) instead of just photocopying your ID at check-in, which most hotels lodges in Colombia do to save the guests from the paperwork. The rates are a bit expensive.

• Christophe (10/5): Escape from Bogota - Excellent cafe/ restaurant. Amazing view. Very relax and helpful staf. Access from main road is not signaled, and last part of the track could be improved. Steep slop and no tarmac or cement.

• Juan (10/5): Relaxation and a great view - The view that we had was exceptional. We had a compete view of all the lake. Also, all the facilities were modern and clean. The staff was really kind and they helped us with all our requests. The road to arrive to the location can be tough for some cars.
